We have been regulars for years but noticed the standards slipping last couple of visits. At the same time prices have been increasing and no longer represents good value . Over £80 for a 2 course meal without wine is just too much for a local restaurant with average quality food. Just piling your plate with rice and salad with a few lumps of gristly lamb ( I had the shish) just isn’t worth the money . My wife’s salmon was greasy and tasteless. We ordered a baklava to finish which was stale and bitter . The waiter said it was allegedly homemade but possibly 2 days old. We didn’t have to pay for this . We won’t be returning again .

29/01/2023……We decided to visit this restaurant for the first upon reading all the reviews for Sunday lunch . Myself, wife and daughter were pretty delighted with the freshness and taste of the food. Wife was so impressed that she recommended we now make this our regular restaurant. Could have given 5* if we were seated further down into the restaurant as it was warmer in there. We were the only guest when we arrived and it was a very cold Sunday afternoon.

Restaurant was very good, loved the downlighting on the table. Would of preferred to be sitting in another area of it as there was a Birthday party going on with young children running around very noisily.

We have been regulars here for many years but over the last couple of visits we have noticed the quality of the meat has slipped yet prices have escalated. Service was ok but at these prices we will give the restaurant a miss for a while.

Would have been more enjoyable but too crowded and tables too close together. I know that in these times you need all the customers you can get but the noise and people trying to squeeze past was not enjoyable. Shame. Would come again but not on a Saturday night.

Gem of a restaurant, extremely good food and very attentive staff. Couldn't really ask for anything more. We both had the mixed shish, the food was very tender, fresh and well presented. I'd definately recommend this restaurant!!

Lively atmosphere, very busy, but service still attentive and friendly. The pitta bread and dips served initially, free were great, and the sautéed lamb and chicken were large and exceptionally tasty

Nice to see them busy which generated a good atmosphere. The menu is now much more comprehensive and it would be a good idea for them to update their website to reflect this. A good meal in a good restaurant

Nice local Turkish food with friendly staff. I am vegan and they had 1 or 2 things I could eat but would have preferred more choice. Great that they are doing the eat out initiative still I hadn’t realised that before we went.

Staff met each client at the door (they were all wearing masks) and ensured we had a mask on while walking to our table. The tables were discreetly screened. The staff and food were brilliant.

BH family lunch, taking advantage of the EOTHO discount. Great food as always but the service could do with some tweaks. It’s rude to say the least to be asked immediately, first thing as soon as we walked through the door with a reservation, when we will be free to give up the table. When I answered ‘it depends on how fast you serve the food’ I got a very cold and unfriendly reaction from the manageress. The waiter was very distracted and it also took a while to get any table attention or for someone to take our order.
