We had the chicken wrap and the fish an chips and found them both very nice. Our server was very pleasant. There could be a better wine choice....$17 for a 6 ounce glass of Chardonnay seems a bit much. Other than that everything was very nice. There was a good atmosphere.

I came here last year for a treat myself day before seeing a show. I had the prix fix menu with a seasonal and local menu and loved it and raved about it to friends and family! I came back a few days ago with my partner and they didn’t have the prix fix menu anymore or local descriptors. Our waiter was nice but after our meal was served forgot about us and we waited a half hour after our meal was done with the intention to get desert before we just went to the bar to ask for the bill. Everyone else was nice, food was good, prices are high though for what you get and doesn’t feel unique enough to justify it. Would probably go again another time for a better experience.

We both had the schnitzel but found it dry and hard to cut. Our meals were served so quickly after the order was placed, the schnitzel must have been cooked and sitting for some time.

We were there to celebrate our 52 anniversary, the wine was 17.00 per glass, outrageous. Very few choices on menu, service was slow, people getting served before us even tho we there first. Over all very disappointing experience. I said in my reservation that is was our anniversary.

We enjoyed our experience immensely. The only thing we found was, the music was so loud we were required to yell at each other to be heard. It was also difficult for our servers to hear us. This being said we did enjoy the meals and our servers were very delightful.

The restaurant was busy, which to us is a good thing, lets us know that people like the food. We arrived about 15 minutes early and were pleased that our table was ready, unfortunately we were seated in the back around the corner, not the best seating location for views, but understandable as they were busy. Water brought right away, our food order was taken in a timely manner, and drinks brought quickly. Our order consisted of ceasar salads, 2 burgers with fries, fish and chips, pulled pork with poutine, and schnitzel on a bun with fries. We thought we would have to wait on the food, we were surprised how quick everything was brought out together and hot. We enjoyed our meals with the exception of one, I feel that was more of a personal taste thing. Our server was professional and made sure or order had no issues. Would eat here again 😋

There were 5 in our party and most of the meals were good. The salad had WAY too much dressing on it. The lettuce was swimming in it. The service was adequate. Our waitress was not too refined at her craft.

Would definitely recommend Jacob’s Grill! The pros - Our waitress was fantastic - friendly, knowledgeable, helpful. The food was excellent and service was quick. Washrooms clean. Cons - The tables were small. Next time, I’ll specifically ask for a booth which seemed a bit roomier. WiFi access in the restaurant was extremely poor - paying the bill on the credit card machine required three tries and then our waitress had to go to the front window to get access.

Schnitzel was not schnitzel. Salad had so much dressing was like soup. 17$ bad wine. It used to be quite nice here. Not sure where it went downhill

I'd do a 4.5 if it were possible to do so. My Havarti Burger was terrific, very enjoyable and gets a 5. The fries were "so, so" - very oily and too much salt. The other party had a Panzanella Saad - it gets a 4.5. The service was excellent. We were early for a 1:00 lunch res but were seated immediately - surprising and much appreciated. We were quite satisfied with our lunch - it was better than we anticipated - we will be there again.

Unfortunately, this was not the dinner with friends we invisioned. Our appetizers came with our dinner to start. When I addressed this with our waitress she shrugged and gave me a snid look. She never returned to ask us about first bites. If she had, she would know the gentleman's $3.50 gravy for a handful if fries tasted like pure lard, ladies ceasar was not dressed, and that everyone needed drinks refilled. We had to summon her to get dressing for salad eventually and napkins and a salt shaker that worked. She told us the salad dressing was vinegarette so we didn't taste it. No, it was dressed at all. The whole meal with the exception of the feature pizza, lacked flavour. We work hard for our money, as do most folks. Dinner out is a treat, or rather it should be.

We had a lovely dining experience. We were greeted promptly , seated right away and given waters all within the first 5 minutes. The meal was delicious and great value for the money. Presentation was great and fast, friendly service.

The food was less than average. The pork schnitzel was very small and the gravy was tasteless. The service was very poor. The server did not come to check on us once during the meal. I was extremely disappointed. Not worth what we paid.

Your personal pizza was pathetic I asked for mushrooms and counted 7 pieces really for $2. The cheese was almost none existent really not much better than a frozen one. Too expensive for what it was. We were on the patio it was ok but wonky table

My chicken wrap was excellent; as was my side Caesar salad. My friend’s salmon was still raw, but they were very good about cooking another one for her. She said it tasted good. Butter tart sundaes were okay, but nothing special. The service was very good. The restaurant was very loud due to large parties of people. All in all, we really enjoyed ourselves and would recommend this restaurant to others.

Came here for New Year’s Eve and the place was very quiet, only one other table there! Was expecting a little bit more of a crowd given the occasion, so it was a bit of a surprise that it was so empty. Service was great and both waitresses that were working were very pleasant and friendly. The food came quickly and was really delicious (I got the fish and chips and my boyfriend got the burger). One thing to note is that the burgers are a little small for some people, so if you have a big appetite order something else because my boyfriend was still hungry
