La comida es exquisita y el ambiente también. Deben mejorar el servicio.
Jaleo DC is my favorite DC restaurant and their Restaurant Week menu is the best. Thanks to Jaleo management for creating a delicious experience.
Excellent food - Spanish reinterpretation by Jose Andres
When we arrive for our reservation, we were told it would be a few minutes. No problem. Then we were lead to a table with a direct view into the kitchen. Really, not what I expected, given that I made the reservation a week in advance. The hostess was very accommodating, and moved us to a lovely window seat.
We didn’t realize it was restaurant week when we made the reservation. We opted for the 5 course restaurant week menu. It was fantastic!
We have been there during the restaurant week, for lunch; the dishes proposed were interesting and, considering the deal, at a very good price. Service was accurate; ambiance was informal.
It was my first time to eat at Jaleo. I'm glad we chose to go there. It was a very pleasant experience.
Booked Jaleo for my wife's 65th birthday. We have been to Jose's other restaurants and have been amazed. I was introduced to Jaleo a few years back by my daughter and the food was very good. During this visit I was disappointed to find the food average. We had a reservation at 7:15. On arrival (6:30) we checked in with the hostess and let her know were going to have a cocktail at the bar. The hostess stated she would save our table. Promptly at 7:15 we arrived back at the hostess stand only to find our table had been given away. Now both our table and our seats at the bar were gone even though there were 4 tables (for 4 people) that were empty. Disappointed to have to now stand and wait for a table to open.
It was solid. Place could use a little cleaning up and paintwork.
Awesome food. Went for restaurant week and the five courses was a ton of food! Great menu selection and some wonderful choices for wine, also at restaurant week pricing. Go there!!
At least for restaurant week, the food was very “ok”, some I didn’t even eat. Our order came wrong twice and the service took long to first come take our order. Bad experience for the price tags.
Absolutely fabulous. We each enjoyed a five-course tapas experience for restaurant week and tasted from each other’s plates. Every single plate had incredible flavor and presentation. Great price value and wonderful experience.
Wonderful customer service. Food was terrific would definitely one again
A definite favorite! They particularly do an amazing job for Restaurant Week. Thanks for a lovely and delicious evening.
The restaurant week menu was great! You got 5 courses!
I go to Jaleo often and am never disappointed. The food is always good and their restaurant week menu is very good for what you pay
The food is delicious
Terrible service during restaurant week at lunch time. We had to constantly ask a random server for assistance or remind them that something was missing. Our table was overlooked the entire meal while everyone else around us were served properly.
The food was absolutely fantastic! It was extremely noisy though! Perhaps it was because it was restaurant week. We will go back when we can sit outside where it's quieter. Service was mediocre.
Jaleos is our all time favorite restaurant. Jaleos food is completely unmatched. No other restaurant we’ve been to has been able to create a dish with the same unfathomable combinations that always seem to come out perfect. It’s food creativity at its finest.
Delicious and interesting food and wonderful service!
Best restaurant in the united states. Period. Try the ensalata rusa
Being Spanish and being able to share my food and culture in a packagable way with the people I love was fantastic. Most everything was authentic, but the tortilla de patata was thin, and the croquetas were runny. Otherwise it was fantastic and a great night to share with loved ones!
like the authentic Spanish dishes a lot
will definitely come again
I went for Sunday brunch and got the $45 tasting menu. We are both vegetarian (but do occasionally eat seafood) so the restaurant so nicely accommodated us. The food was SO delicious and SO plentiful. Definitely doggie bags for us.
I highly recommend the brunch and will definitely go again.
Wonderful experience as always with a very attentive waiter and phenomenal food!
I have been to Jaleo several times and it is my favorite restaurant, hands down. Everything I’ve ordered from the menu has been absolutely amazing, and their wine selection is fantastic. The service is always great.
Great food as always! Nice late lunch after a trip to the Newseum, 3 blocks away. Love the Flan!
Stellar food. Portions bigger than they advertise - we ordered way too much food but ate it all anyway because it was so good.
Wonderful decor and atmosphere. Waiter seemed lost at times but overall did the job well.
Blue cheese tenderloin and cava sangria were amazing!! Everything was delicious and brought out with perfect timing.
Excellent specials! Fabulous service as always. This is our favorite go to restaurant in DC.
Lovely authentic meal, drinks. Order from the heart of the menu and discover a lot of new things.
The best Spanish restaurant I have been out of Spain. I loved it! The quality of the food is amazing
I know very much the Spanish food and except for the Ibérico everything was below my expectations. The octopus is almost gum and not flavor. The sangria is by far good. I think that it is too expensive for what you receive. Service is ok, but not outstanding as you expect.
Jaleo was out biggest disappointment.
Great venue for a family reunion. Love the tapas and drinks as always.
Everything was excelent. The brussels with mono and the croquetas with rabo de toro were excelent.
I've been to Jaleo more than 100 times over the years and it never fails to deliver in terms of both food and service. Plus, who doesn't want to support Jose Andres -- a truly wonderful man on so many fronts! My adult son and I went together this time, and he's vegetarian, so we had everything from gazpacho -- amazingly refreshing on a hot day -- to potatas bravas, the spinach-pine nuts-raisins-apple dish, sliced apple and fennel salad with Manchego cheese, walnuts and sherry dressing. All were delicious. I hope I live long enough to enjoy Jaleo at least another 100 times!
