Jamavar Ratings and Reviews
We visited for my husbands birthday and really enjoyed the whole experience. The food was some of the best Indian I have had, cocktails were also great. Service was friendly & informative without being too formal. I also found the price quite reasonable in comparison to some fine dining, we shall definitely be back in the future!
We had a dinner reservation for 4 on Friday night and had a great time. Jamavar provides everything from a nice ambience to great food. The menu is very cleverly put together and everything that we ordered ended up impressing us. Special mention for beef utappam, tandoori chicken and Rasamalai - as those dishes simply blew my mind! Totally worth the money you'll end up spending.
We went for my birthday and both had the tasting menu. We enjoyed every course and struggled to finish our meal - there was so much food! It was expensive, but both of us felt it was worth the money. We didn't have wine, but opted for cocktails instead, which were also delicious.
Amazing dining experience, faultless from start to finish
Recommend the Indian wine white and red
Staff go above and beyond to please guests
Will definitely come back next time we are in London unless you open one in Manchester
There are many exceptional Indian restaurants in London, ranging from the finest dining to glorious street food but our meal at Jamavar was simply the very best experience I've ever had--and my guests enthusiastically agreed. Inventive and superbly prepared dish after dish, served by absolutely charming staff in one of the most beautiful rooms in town. A festive joy.
All three of us are dreaming of our return in 2018.
This is a fine restaurant, with attentive service, a good selection of dishes between a la carte and fixed menus. We had the four course lunch menu, which was excellent and enough choice between courses to satisfy both of us. Well done and to the attentive service.
Love the small dishes option - and it all tastes amazing. Do try the samosas - this is how they should taste!!! The beautiful vegetarian biryani with bread topping is another winner - the vegetables in this are perfectly cooked and the way it is served is lovely.
Outstanding food. We had both the vegetarian and meat tasting menus with the paired wines. Every course was cook perfectly and the wine matching were spot on - including my first Kent wine which went very well with the food. Good value, great service, fantastic food.
