With a seating capacity of 107 covers split in two different floors, a private dining room that accommodate up to 8 guests plus al fresco tables will provide the perfect setting for a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Taking inspiration from the Viceroy’s house of New Delhi, the restaurant will be a glamorous Indian dining room with rainforest emperador marbles, dark timber paneling, gilded walls, and Lutyens inspired furnishings. The space will reflect the vibrant colours and intricate patterns of rare Jamavar shawls, offset with brass accents, hand-cut marquetry, and a sculpted bar that will celebrate the great textile traditions of India.

Our anniversary dinner at Jamavar was wonderful, best Indian food we’ve ever had and such a beautiful atmosphere. Kind, efficient service and great diverse menu. Hope to return soon & would strongly recommend.

We had an amazing anniversary meal, ordered from the early bird menu which is an excellent deal and the food was really tasty. Also a lovely table was given to us in the beautiful restaurant.
Service was amazing, and we were surprised by a slice of scrumptious chocolate cake as an anniversary dessert, which was a really lovely touch. We will be back :)

Perfection. No less than that. The best food I’ve eaten in a long time. And the service was spot-on. I genuinely loved it. Congratulations.

Only downfall would be that there was too many staff members in a such a small place. At one stage they kept knocking into my chair whilst giving the food out. Other than that everything else was nice.

Great menu and excellent service. The quality of food is fantastic. Beautiful homely food, very hard to achieve in a restaurant setting and Jamavar went over and beyond my expectations. Would definitely recommend and come again!

This was our first wedding anniversary lunch and a last minute booking, we arrived late but our booking was kept. Food was outstanding especially the samosa chaat. I have already started recommending this place to friends and family. Thank you to the lovely staff that gave us a complimentary dessert it was a lovely suprise to end the lunch.

The food was amazing and the service exquisite. The waiters were litteraly waiting to serve you, being a down-to-earth-dutchie is was a bit much for us. But very friendly staff absolutely. And the food. Again amazing.

This was a very special occasion for not only myself but my now fiance who also celebrated her birthday. Jamavar were extremely accommodating for our seating arrangements and were willing to help in anyway to make it a special occasion.

Want to personally thank Denitsa who kept in contact throughout the time leading upto the day and the rest of the team.

The food was absolutely spectacular in presentation and taste, both of us were very impressed. She intends to bring down her friends for another visit so it must be good for a trip all the way from Wales.

I cannot say enough about the food at Jamavar. We had one of the BEST meals we've had anywhere in the world. I can say that as I fly for a living. Our anniversary spent in the UK and France was wonderful, but we come back in conversation about the meal we had.
The staff was top notch. We also had a delightful couple sitting next to us. The gentleman was from India and said it was the only place he would go to to get the Butter Chicken. My hubby is still talking about it. Only wish we lived in London instead of Chicago, so we could make it a Saturday night regular. Thank you, Ginger and John

We went on a Thursday evening and the vibe was great. We made a booking at 6.30pm and were initially offered the Early Bird Menu (available from 5.30-6.30pm). We'd just decided what we wanted from that menu but another member of staff came over and said as we had sat at 6.30pm we couldn't have that menu. We found this rather frustrating and it should be made clear on booking that the 5.30-6.30pm Early Bird Menu is not available if you make a booking at 6.30pm. Most of the food was excellent including the Chicken Tikka and the Butter Chicken - both dishes we'd highly recommend. The prawns to start were also very good, however, the lobster sambal lacked depth of flavour and was a bit bland. The wines by the glass were also disappointing - expensive, small selection and just not great quality for the price - would have expected better. All in all we enjoyed the food and vibe but felt the wine and service let it down for us.

The food was literally out of this world, best Indian food I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. Waiter/table service was wonderful.
Seating on arrival was a little haphazard - despite requesting a table away from the door over a week in advance, I was seated just inside the door. I do appreciate restaurants cannot always honor seating requests but on this occasion, there were tables available further inside and I was eventually re-seated away from the door.
We were also rushed somewhat to give up our table but hey, given the quality of food on offer, I can appreciate high demand and requirement for turnaround at busier times.

Highly highly recommend this restaurant for the food, ambiance and attentive table service!

Food amazing but service remains erratic and patchy at this restaurant. Sometimes on the amateur.
Waiters do not pay close attention and on each occasion I have eaten here one or more items have always been forgotten and a reminder is needed!
Also the tables are quite cramped together and this means a very noisy dining experience at least downstairs anyway.
It is a shame that these aspects lag behind the lovely food and it detracts from the michelin star they have been awarded.

I took my mom to London on trip for her 60th birthday (we’re from NYC so we know good food and good service). Jamavar was one of the restaurants we booked for dinner during our stay. I had heard it was one of the hottest new Indian restaurants in the city...ultimately it was great! From the ambiance to service to taste of the food - it was fantastic! If you want a modern and yet still authentic Indian experience in London, go to Jamavar!

The food is extremely spicy. The venison especially the rack of venison was horrible. The only mediocre thing about my meal was the mango rasmalai even though it didn’t have any taste of mango whatsoever! I have dined at Benares and Vineet Bhatia in London before and they are on another level. The service here was sloppy, they mixed up orders of two tables near me. I would not be surprised if this restaurant loses it’s star.
