Operating from these premises since 2003, James St. offers some of the best locally sourced meat and fish produce, cooked alongside classic dishes such as chowder, crab & chili linguine for starters. Main Course come from the grill where steaks, sit side side the freshest of local fish. Desserts take a turn towards a classic souffle, baked alaska as well as a great selection of Irish cheese.
The refurbished restaurant offers a comfortable bar area for bar and lunch time snacks as well as pre and post dinner drinks, alongside a private room on the ground floor called The Grill Room, as well as their long-established First Floor Private dining room. The extensive bar area will host a range of local drinks as well as a large selection of Irish Whiskeys.

From moment we walked in, staff were amazing. Attentive but not over bearing. Very informative of menu and food was exceptional. Everything was exquisite. Would definitely recommend the Co.Tyrone Fillet Steak 🥰 cooked to perfection. We will be back 😃

My only point was that the Baked Alaska could have done with a little more ice cream. With that, it would be on par with the one at The Ivy. Staff are superb. In such a worrying time for them, they could not have been nicer or more professional.

Sicuramente un posto diverso dai pub tradizionali che a me personalmente piacciono molto ,con uno stile americano più “cool” .Veramente gentile il personale ,carne buonissima come anche i contorni ( patatine al tartufo particolari anche se un po’ pesanti )e buona scelta dei vini .Certamente non economico ma per una sera ne vale la pena ! Pienamente soddisfatta

Very enjoyable experience for dinner here on a Monday night. The dining room has great atmosphere and ambience. Very well designed menu, it is evident of the very high level of products used in every dish. It is not cheapest if you compare to around town, but you get what you pay for when dining out and this is no exception. If your looking for a high quality meal you will get it here no doubt. The service was very attentive but in no way obtrusive. Front of house staff very genuine and good sense of humor. If your looking for a place for dinner on a Monday in Belfast this is the place. We will be back !

We felt the restaurant was very cold and basic for the prices, i thought id booked a upscale restaurant and ended up dining in a everyday bistro/cafe. I got risotto for starter and i felt it was under cooked. We both ordered Steak for our mains and it was tasteless and my husbands champ was like baby food swimming in butter . We where both really disappointed overall and went home feeling really underwhelmed by the whole experience.

The food here is excellent! The service was attentive, friendly, and helpful. The noise, though, was quite extraordinary. It made it very, very difficult to enjoy the company of our dinner mates. Side note: the Rib Eye was extraordinary!

Was given the recommendation by a friend. All in all a great Steakhouse! We had the Cote de boeuf which was cooked to perfection (medium rare). The service was quick and easy. The wine is reasonably priced too. Very suitable for a date night.
