Love this restaurant, pity it went into liquidation the day we'd booked to eat here
Experience of Jamie's Italian was ok, pretty much like any other restaurant out there. It was just the novelty of going to a chain of Jamie Oliver restaurant. Price wise very reasonable, I would recommend it just for what it is, Jamie Oliver's Italian restaurant
Restaurant was too hot and quite uncomfortable. Food was ok but I’ve had better. No signage to say where toilets are and a few females mistakenly going to the male toilets
We had the 2 course set meal for 2, well actually there were 4 of us! They accommodated our allergies superbly and we all chose different and enjoyed it! The only disappointment was that there was no deserts we particularly liked. The building is magnificent, we sat near the bar in the middle. Brilliant evening, chilled, washed down with a lovely glass of prosecco!
Food and drink were terrible. Pasta very over cooked for one and hard for other guest. Drink was terrible- gin and lemon drink. Eggplant parm very undercooked. Really overall terrible and terrible value.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere, staff friendly n helpful. I had the ox cheek gnocchi which was amazing. Soft gnocchi n very tasty sauce. Would definitely go back.
Was waiting to be seated for quite a while was took to the table where it hadn’t been set up on ordering the food waiter said he would be back to set table we ended up moving everything off the next table .. we ordered linguine very tasty .. waiter said he would bring spoons for pasta but he never did .. cant fault the food but service was very slow .. and it wasn’t that busy was a Monday night ..
Good atmosphere, friendly personnel.
Very quiet, not a noisy environment.
It was busy as a result of rugby international, but the wait staff didn't seem to be able to cope. The food didn't really taste as though it was fresh - I had the carbonara and it was not good, watery sauce and pasta over cooked. I know that friends could not get steak - at 8pm it was off the menu!!!
Poor food. Had calimari to start that was nothing but batter. Both mine and my girlfriends main meals needed to be sent back. My girlfriends ragu was bitter and very overly spiced. I had what was supposed to be a stuffed pork fillet, but it had no filling and was just a dried out breaded piece of tough pork.
It was NYE, and a lot was discounted from the bill. So that made up for it a little bit. The service was great and the prosecco was nice!
Overall a pleasant experience, marred by poor food.
Booked a table at the restaurant to celebrate our wedding annviersary. It was very busy, quite noisy and service wasn't particularly prompt. However, the food was very nice.
Waiter couldn't understand us, we had to repeat everything we said. Not enough staff, had to wait to get attention at all times. Queue at door so front door open and restaurant freezing, again no staff to greet people coming in. Food average, have had just as good pasta from Tesco! My 1st time and def wont be back
This was our 2nd visit in a week. The first was the previous Friday. We had no reservation but was seated at the bar. That was great! We saw the cooks make tapenade the bread boards meat boards. Loud and bustling time. Food amazing. Came back the fri food was good came in was sat in the upstairs far corner. Not the same ambiance as it was not as busy. Had mentioned it was for anniversary on open table but never was even asked if special occasion. Food overall good but not as great as the first experience. Though our server was nice!
