Jamon Jamon - Soho.
Brilliant manager, actively asked if the paella is any good. He was very friendly as well, which made me felt very comfortable dining in the restaurant.
Waited over 20mins at table and was not even close to getting served, not even water. We had to leave and find another restaurant!
Thank you for your warm welcome and the desire to please of all your staff . Thank you also for allowing us to stay so long to celebrate the 80th birthday of my husband with some of the family. The quality and style of the food , we selected tapas dishes, was ideally suited to the situation. we would certainly reccomend you to others. Our son reccomended us to you . Thank you so much
The ambience of the restaurant was nice, however the staff were slow, the food was average, and the sangria was a sugar drink.
Best paella ever! Sangria great too! Would highly recommend.
Very good food. Unfortunately service was very slow and chaotic on the night we went.
We booked as we were on a theatre trip to the Shaftesbury and needed to eat between the two shows. Booked on open table but wasn’t totally sure they were aware of the booking, however, it was no an issue and we were seated immediately! The staff were very friendly and keen to offer guidance where required. It is a mezzo style menu and we chose about three items each and shared. The food was well cooked and very tasty. The dates in bacon were exceptional. The ambience in the place was very good and it was a thoroughly good experience. I would certainly go again if I was in the area.
Average food, the potatas bravas was insulting and then the incorrect change was given when we paid and had to be corrected.
The food wasn’t that great we had the Paella and had one prawn each which was a bit mean considering it wasn’t cheap.
Casual atmosphere with great service and food would go again when I visit London another time
Best Paella in London, it tastes quite authentic. When we went there wasn't many people but waitresses were not attentive either.
Reasonably priced good quality food. Nice atmosphere.
Great food. Great service. I would recommend the seafood Paella!!
100% would go back.
The only thing I would change is that on the maps app it does not take you to the correct place unless you type in the actual address not just the name.
Great view to people watch from the outdoor seating. The paella is excellent, but make sure order right away since it is prepared fresh and takes some time.
Have been countless times, our favourite Tapas restaurant. Always very good.
A great venue for our pre-theatre (Phoenix) dinner. Fast service, good food, ideal location
Tapas but not like in Spain.
Great variety of tapas!
The food here was good but not great- a bit too greasy. Service was friendly and good.
Went with a group of friends before going to the theatre so we wanted something nice, easy and quick. Food was very nice, restaurant is cosy and service was very efficient. Perfect choice before going to see a show. We all enjoyed it!
Went with a friend and had some tapas and gave to admit it was very average was expecting the tapas to be better as was recommended it. Thought the food was like getting frozen food in Iceland. It was disappointing.
Service was fine and the waitress was friendly.
Won’t be recommending to my friends
I have been here for several times. But this time the paella has toooo much salt. Disappointed
The restaurant was very quiet, despite it being a lunchtime in the week leading up to Christmas, so there was no atmosphere. The food was OK but wine was very expensive.
The service was good, but with only three tables to serve you would expect that.
I regret that we will not be returning.
Booked table for 6. Arrived and no table ready for 15 mins. Moved table 3 times until a suitable one was available. Food was average to poor. Staff came to table to say we had had everything. We said we were missing 3 dishes. Then they brought an additional 2 we hadn't ordered.
A nice little restaurant tucked just off Charing Cross Road. Not somewhere I would pick for a special date but for chilling with friends and enjoying relaxed tapas it was a good choice. It’s a small restaurant and tables are not that big so having a lot of tapas was a bit of a challenge but the food was all good and came in batches fortunately. The garlic bread was great and so were the dates wrapped in bacon. Nothing was disappointing although a bit more sauce on the patatas bravos might have been good.
Food was average. I would not recommend if you are looking for a real typical spanish place. But the service was good.
Good food and reasonable price.
The staffs are friendly and they try to accommodate your request if possible.
Portion of tapas is small..... But paella is good and portion is good enough to share
Me & dad will come back! It was great food, tasty, good table!
Visited here with a friend for pre tgeatre dinner and was thoroughly dissapointed! The service was extremely poor- one dish should have arrived with alioli, it dodmt so i asked for some. 10 mins later still nothing, so asked another waitress. 5 mins later still nothing so i asked again. 2 were bought to me at the same time, and we were charged for all of these seperately on the receipt (which we refused to pay for). 20 minutes into our meal a dish that was missing was bought to our table- by this point we were finishing our meal! Granted the manager was very apologetic about this at the time. I visited the toilet before leaving and was horrified!! If i had been before my meal i would have left immediately! The food tasted good, but i had a sever stomache ache and my friend was sick that night- and we had only eaten and drunk at Jamon Jamon. To add insult to injury we paid a service charge that was added to the receipt- it was only because we didnt want to ruin our night that we didnt argie this, but it certainly wasnt earned!
Booked for a pre theatre visit, food was great, staff were great, prices were reasonable for central London. It is set a little back from the street so you might not see it unless looking for it. Ideal for London theatre land.
Really nice place, friendly staff, good food. Definitely coming back!
Our first time there. Amazing food, great atmosphere and value for money.
Great, authentic Spanish Tapas bar. Full of Spaniards, great value, lovely service. Was even treated to some cool drama with a drunk bloke trying to chat up the beautiful waitress, crashing and burning publicly then falling asleep face first in his paella 😂. #PlayaNoPlayer
Food is delicious. Everything is superb apart from the waiting time of the Paella. We have ordered a 3-ppl paella, it was very very delicious, but we waited for nearly 45mins. It was worth the wait though.
Let's just say that our experience wasn't great. Although the food was really good, when the waitress started to clean the table and taking our plates away, she somehow managed to throw a napkin on a candle and set fire to the table! She then proceeded to throw wine(!) on to the fire! After all the commotion, and when the bill arrived, we were surprised to find that not only we weren't compensated in any way but they had also charged us for service! We had to argue with them to take the service charge off our bill. Needless to say, the management and service is not as great as the food so I don't think we'll be going back there.
Fantastic staff food and wine. Brilliant value for money. Cant wait to go back.
Great for groups
This is my third visit to Jamon Jamon Soho, albeit not the best.
Food came out very quick, staff forgot our bread and olives and we had to remind them twice. One male waiter was really nice but forgetful, and the female waiter was just seemed elsewhere, taking food from the table without checking if we were finished with it.
Some food was hot, some was warm.
My friends and I used a Groupon voucher for the visit.
All in all, it is a cute little tapas bar, I will return and hope that the next visit will be better!
Good atmosphere for casual friends get-together over tapas and sangria
