We had such an amazing time celebrating a birthday. Keyrin was not our server, however she noticed we had questions and was extremely eager and helpful in answering them. She gave us plenty of menu recommendations. One being the Cabo Azul that we got and absolutely loved. That lobster enchilada with the poblano cream sauce was INCREDIBLE. After our meal she even came back to ask if we enjoyed it even though she wasn’t our server. Which we really appreciated. I wish I remembered our actual servers name because she was very attentive to us as well. Overall we had a great experience and will be back solely for that enchilada 😋

The ambiance and food were both very good. Our selections were Steak Picado and Mole Poblano. We also shared a Tres Leches for dessert, which was stellar. The service was fine, but the only disappointments were that the rice that came with the Steak Picado wasn’t ready until we were paying the bill. We took it home. Perhaps the issue was that our reservation was at 11:30AM which is opening time. The other disappointment was that this was was an anniversary as noted in our reservation, yet no special provisions were made for that. Still, it was a very pleasant experience and we will definitely return.

Reserved for Labor Day. Seated quickly and early. Service was amazing and food was just as good 🥰 it was not that busy because it was 12PM. 10/10

Sat behind a large group of people, over 15, that were having a great time but VERY LOUD! Understand they were having a great time. But would suggest maybe put them at a corner table of the room so that they weren't in the middle of the restaurant and around smaller groups that wanted to talk. Javier's is always great!

Not worth the price, food was too salty. The tortillas smelled like they were soaked in vinegar definitely not eatable. Managers walking around like zombies and not checking on how is the food or service. Service was good, drinks were ok but the food was very bland. Att Managers, you should do table touching which is very standard in this industry, it doesn’t matter if you are in La Mesa, Chula Vista or La Jolla!! you can walk around thinking you are all that!

We love Javier’s because it’s always consistent. Good service, good atmosphere, food is delicious and comes out relatively quickly. The vibe of the place is fun and lively. We always make sure to go when visiting San Diego!
