It’s like marmite, some like it and others don’t.
The drinks were below average
The food is very poor value for money
Overall not a great experience, having spent £210 for four people we left in an hour.

Was a good experience. The food was okay, a bit expensive for what it was tho, and the music was alright. I liked the feeling of being so close to the scenario but the musicians just knew how to play a few notes. I would recommend to book in advance a table to fully enjoy the experience.

The service was quite rude, and wanted to squeeze 3 people into a tiny squared table that could only fit 2 people, just to squeeze in more people into the listening room.

I chose this jazz bar for a late date. I think if you like jazz you will like it. There's good music plus a nice atmosphere which makes it worthwhile. But the drinks are way overpriced and the food is alright.

This was a brilliant experience! For the unique concept and overall service, it was worth every penny. We were encouraged to pour our own wine in the dark to add to the experience. After finishing our meal we were lead upstairs to review the menu. In the same room a member of staff taught us basic sign language which was a great touch right after dining Dans Le Noir! I'd highly recommend this to all; an experience to remember.

Southern Beauty were absolutely fabulous and would be 5 star - more if possible. Unfortunately the evening was ruined by the support act - off key and unpleasant to listen to, she read lyrics from her phone like karaoke from someone who can’t sing. It was an appalling insult to a paying audience, a quarter of whom literally walked out while she was singing. The venue was clearly lucky to book a class act like Alison Wheeler from The Beautiful South and her amazing band. I would be going to hear them without an atrocious support act, so will not be returning to this venue.

Terrible customer service. Even worse band and the singer was over 2 hours late definitely not worth the wait. Refund for the band was ignored then refused. Don’t understand why one should pay for a service not provided. Something I have enquirer with Westminster Council.
WORSE DATE NIGHT EVER.

15 pounds entrance fee/person seemed steep but the band was superb and made up for it. Did not try the food so can't comment. Service also good. The venue itself is unexceptional though the small venue and therefore proximity to the band was great. Will go back for the music

Unfortunately the singer of the band that was playing sounded like a strangled cat, and their music was uninspiring. Having taken my daughters there for one of their birthdays, after having had a lovely experience on a previous visit, we were very disappointed and left after suffering an hour of their music.
I ordered the spicy chicken wings, but there was nothing spicy about them. Having said that they were still nice.

Intimate and welcoming bar with regular live music, a great tapas menu and wonderful selection of wines, beers and spirits. Keep an eye on the What’s On list of their website... there’s always some great music to listen to and always lovely staff and customers to chat to. It’s spot on!

The venue was quite small and mist arrived around 10pm as they obviously dined elsewhere! The service and music were great as was the drinks list! However, the seats weren't comfortable and the food very basic with a limited choice. If I went again I'd dine locally and arrive around 10 to get a seat for music and drinks.

Small very cosy atmosphere, I don't think you should have to pay £15 entrance fee when your buying food. Food not the best but for £12.95 for 3 courses you can't expect much! Band we're good. Don't think I'd go back!

Came for Valentines with my wife for drinks and music after dinner
A jazz trio singing Songs my daughter listens to is not what I came for to a Jazz club. Also not for an arts student singing jibrish careoke.
Would recommend checking then and before you come.
Ambience good and intimate atmosphere, but a bit too much so. Had the music been any good I would have enjoyed myself more

It was our first time to Jazz after Dark. We went as a group of 4 who all enjoy listening to jazz music and we not disappointed. We pre-booked our table to include tapas. We were very happy with the service and the range of tapas on offer. We ordered a selection of 5 and 2 sides for 3 of us and the other in our party had the set menu. The portion sizes were very good value for money and tasty. We had a good view and musicians were very good and played a wide variety of music to a very high standard. The entry fee here is £5 which is excellent for the center of town! We had a wonderful night out and highly recommend the venue and would definitely go again. The staff were all friendly and provided excellent customer service. Thank you for a great night out.

very bad service, the old man and the lady are unfriendly. They charge at the door even though on the site it wasn't saying we had to pay. the live music only started at 10.30pm and from 9pm there was no music or atmosphere whatsoever. We even suggested to get a drink and leave before the performance but they still insisted we pay the 15 pounds entry. Once the performer finally comes on stage it's nothing to do with jazz and start singing terrible pop music!
Utterly disappointed!
