Went to lunch at Jazzboline. The waitress was great - very friendly. Salmon crostini was amazing! The flatbread pizza was okay but definitely lacked flavor. Vegetable gratin was flavorful, but the eggplant and squash was under cooked so it was a bit tough. Walked over to the Reikart House and the staff there was extremely friendly! Unfortunately, the person that seated us was very unfriendly...not very accommodating and had a major attitude. Will probably give it one more chance for dinner. The interior design choices of the space are beautiful.

This place has potential but it’s just not quite there yet. Food is just mediocre and totally overpriced. Bus boys hovering over our table try to take out plates and they forgot to give us our side dish with the seafood boil. As for the seafood boil, not really enough seafood to share. Only a 1/2 a lobster tail ? How do you share 1/2 a lobster tail. It’s a nice portion for one person. The restaurant looks good, hopefully food and service will improve.

Date night- we thought “let’s go to Jazzboline”... lots of hype around this place, so we placed an 8:00 reservation on OpenTable. We walked in and the first thing we noticed was the noise- THE NOISE! - we instantly knew we were going to have an issue having a conversation. The hostess was overwhelmed, but kept smiling. She checked us in and told us to wait either at the bar (three people deep), or near the front door. We opted for the front door so we could people watch. We waited quite a while to be seated after our reservation time had passed, but we got some good people watching in- the feel of the restaurant is interesting: is it trying to evoke another time period? Is it a hotel bar, acting like a restaurant, or is it a restaurant trying to be a swanky bar? We couldn’t tell. We got seated next to the kitchen - again, very noisy- got our computers handed to us (the menus) and tried to read the lips of the waiter. We ordered drinks (aperol spritz- a very aggressive drink) and placed our food order. Note: don’t order the Brussels sprouts as an appetizer because you’ll probably get them with your meal. They were... fine. Everything was just that- fine. The lamb ribs were cooked well, but the barbecue sauce that accompanied it was aggressively spicy. Our entrees, pork tenderloin and the rotisserie chicken, were both very dry. The service was lackluster,too. All in all, if you’re going to spend over $100 on a meal for two and want an ok experience, then try Jazzboline. You won’t be blown away by the food- however you may enjoy the details in the design of the restaurant. I hope that in time they put that much detail in the food.

Second time within 8 days. Very good. Luncheon choices are wonderful. My friend had the salmon crustini and said it was excellent. I had the rb sandwich but so much beef that I removed half of it. It was perfectly prepared. The atmosphere is delightful. While I waited for my friend, i noticed that a number of people came in without reservations and I would not recommend that. I have already made luncheon reservations for the holidays for a group of my friends. Open Table can reserve for up to a party of six so I had to make them while I was there yesterday for a larger party. You definitely get that big city feel. Try it, you'll like it.

First time there. Very energetic and busy place but when my dining partner was running 15 minutes late, the hostess was very accommodating. It took a while to order our drinks but once the server arrived, she was very good. Our meals were simple (rotisserie chicken salad and rotisserie club sandwich) but delicious. Loved the decor and energy of the place. Quite loud but that seems to be the norm these days.

Upon entering we were impressed by the décor and ambience. We found the electronic tablet menu to be interesting for the most part. Liked how each item could be viewed as a picture. My wife and I decided to just have a lite meal and a glass of wine. We each opted for a salad and found them to be very good. We then shared the lobster sliders and a chicken BBQ flatbread. I didn't find the sliders to have much flavor. They were generously portioned with lobster but it wasn't something that made me say "I have to order that again." My wife liked the BBQ chicken flatbread, I found the BBQ sauce to be over powering. I was quite surprised by the price of the wine. I am by no means afraid to spend money in a restaurant for a decent bottle of wine, but $16 & $17 for a 9oz pour of an unnamed wine from the bar seemed a bit excessive. I feel that Jazzboline is trying to be something that it is not. This isn't the Chop House or Morton's. $98 plus tip for appetizers, salad and a glass of wine each in my mind is a bit high for a restaurant of this type. Nothing in my meal was of the caliber to warrant their prices.

I ordered the chicken at the recommendation of our server and it was very tough, even trying to cut it with a knife was difficult. The salads were good but over-priced. My friend had the filet and said it was good, but would have been better at any of our local steakhouses. Overall, the experience was disappointing, although the service was good. Overpriced and over rated.

The most important the service and food was outstanding. I was with two other friends and the food was outstanding, The service was outstanding, and the interiors of this restraint is beautiful. Understanding I am a designer, so I always look at the attention to details. Very nice interiors. Go this is a nice restraint.

The place is spectacular in design. The noise level is very high. The service was not good, very slow, but I think that the problem was that the kitchen staff was overwhelmed.

It was very loud. I did not like where we were sitting. I had a view of the kitchen. We were to close to the other people eating.

Overall, a very good experience. The cocktails were excellent - Crush - and a basil gimlet. Food of good quality. Brick baked oysters were excellent, as was the lamb duo. The cheesecake was refreshingly lemony. Service was attentive, but staff seems a touch “green.” One slight disappointment - I let them know via the reservation that it was a birthday celebration. The only acknowledgement was by the person who checked our reservation. “Who has a birthday tonight?” Nothing else through the evening to help us celebrate. Small thing, but why ask if it’s a special occasion and then not acknowledge it?

Our reservation was at 730 didn’t get seated till 830. Hostess didn’t apologize or manager take care of anything. Food was very good though. Place was beautiful. Very loud.

The menu was very casual for the amount of service—it was weird to have a waiter and an assistant waiter serve a cheeseburger. The appetizers were amazing but the entrees were Meh.

Loved everything, but it was way to noisy, was not relaxing ,could not converse due to. Noise!! Would recommend highly that you do something about that,it would be only reason why I would not come back.

Terrible experience. - noise level was so high you had to scream to be heard. Conversation was impossible. Even the waitress had to yell to be heard.

Lunching with my four beautiful sisters-in-law. The venue was very NYC sophisticated but not pretentious. The luncheon selections were great and fairly priced and the service was very good. Make your reservations for the holidays now. I know I am.

Wanted to try out this new restaurant. It is very nice inside ... love the decor and very attentive servers.
However ... it's also extremely expensive. $14 for a glass of wine is unreasonable as is $47 for a 14 oz. steak.
Probably will not return or recommend to others because of the expense involved.

Food was very good and our entire party was pleased with their meals.
My pork tenderloin was very good, but pieces were irregular in size and some were over cooked. The tenderloin was not consistent.

Loved the bar too, but noise was loud.

We would definitely return.

Cassandra was fantastic as was the mgr on duty. Had a steak that came out room temp. Sent it back and they refired my dinner and it came out quickly and perfectly cooked. Manager comped my wine which was very gracious. He also noticed my wife squinting from the sunlight and offered to draw the window shade down a bit. Cassandra was knowledgeable and helpful. Great job by everyone!

Bartender forgot a beer after saying tap needed to be changed. No glass offered for a bottled beer. Half chicken, the breast section was dry

We had to keep repeating our orders to the waitress. An item as simple as fries were forgotten, (we had to ask for them repeatedly) they finally came after the end of our meal. Although there are better vegetarian options, that is what my daughter chose as dinner. As a side, the fries wouldn't have been as important to us. With that said, the place was packed. The manager wound up bring us the fries . Not only did he apologize, but later, the waitress did as well. They had also taken the charge off of our bill. What more could one ask for? The staff was friendly, the decor was soothing and on point, the food was varied and quite tasty especially the bbq rib appetizer (myself), clams (spouse), Atlantic cod (son) and beet salad (daughter) . The next time I visit the area I will definitely return to Jazzboline.

We were seated 40 minutes after our reservation, no communication from the staff about how long it may be. Our waitress was very inattentive, poor communication between her and the staff who actually brought us our food. Food very mediocre, never going back.

First time visit. Beautifully decorated. Great bar and dining areas. The use of tablets as menus was unique, but somewhat frustrating as you can’t see all offerings on one page. Food ordered was good, but not great for the price charged. That being said, the service was fantastic. A dish came with a garnish that wasn’t mentioned on menu. When told that person was allergic to garnish, it was immediately removed and replaced with a brand new order with no questions asked. Manager and server came by to make sure everything was ok.

You must be a foodie to enjoy this restaurant. If you are not a foodie (I am not) you could be disappointed. I struggled with choosing something very simple that was not made and described with glitz. I thought the salmon salad was a safe bet, but truly I was disappointed

The noise level was very loud and in the beginning we had good service as the night went on our hostess barely looked at us.
I know there are a lot of people who would appreciate the restaurant.. even the menu on a tablet. I did not but maybe I am one of a few. You have to make up your own mind.

The hostess at any restaurant is the first opportunity for a guest to feel welcomed & excited for the experience ahead. Jazzboline, you need a new hostess. We were a party of 3 with a reservation at 1pm on a weekday. When we arrived, no smile or happy welcome. She went to seat us at a table, we asked for a booth instead, the restaurant was only about a 1/4 full. She looked at me with an expression that said “are you worthy, let me think” then begrudgingly gave us a booth. She put down the electronic menus with not another word & left us to our own devices. We felt like leaving.
This is a neighborhood restaurant for us, we walked there and could have easily walked out to another restaurant.
But thankfully our waitress Laura was wonderful, apologized for the hostess & made our luncheon experience a great one. She shouldn’t have had to step into that position however. I suggest again, a new hostess.
Food was great, drinks were great, comfortable atmosphere & decorated well.

Everything was excellent - great music - busy, comfortable, lots of people enjoying themselves made it loud, but in a good way! I've been to this site in all of its incarnations dating back to reunions, and grandparent's 50th anniversary (in the 70's)...this is far and away the best.
