Food was lovely, really delicious. The atmosphere was also pleasant. Would definitely go again.
We went to Jinjuu after seeing it on a TV programme for our wedding anniversary. The food was good but the ambience and experience was not great for a special occasion we were rushed out within the hour there was no gap between courses which did not give us a chance to enjoy the experience.
Interesting menu and we enjoyed discussing the ingredients and Korean cookery with the staff. The service was very good, friendly not overly attentive and informed. We enjoyed the food, particularly the Korean chicken and the accompanying sauces. It was exceptionally crispy and tender.
We were a bit confused about the Korean chips, the topping of brisket and chilli etc was really nice but the potatoes itself appeared to be just frozen chips! A bit soggy and anaemic.
Negatives were that we were seated downstairs in the basement which had no air conditioning and was extremely hot, given the heat wave and kitchen!!! Sadly the restaraunt only had two small fans! Also they had run out of some ingredients for cocktails by 20.30 which was a bit disappointing.
The ambience and temperature did seem better upstairs though.
Price was average for a trendy place in Soho, I would defiantly return but would book upstairs and would try some new dishes.
Great menu with enormous variety of selections to choose from. Recommend the Korea Fried Cauliflower as well as the chicken. Bosan Belly Pork is also fantastic.
My parents and I went in for a late lunch. This place was absolutely tasty, but as far as Korean modern fusion goes it was not earth shattering. The fried chicken was heaven, everything else was fully fine.
We chose a Monday to go and have a dinner. Everything was amazing . The food was very tasty and the drinks were amazing . This is one of the best restaurants what I have tried so far . Thank you!
Great venue, great food, overall well worth the visit. Keep up the good work and the positive vibe going
Menu prices are a bit high but we had a lovely meal so it was worth it. To start with we had the side dish JINJUU CARNITAS FRIES which were very tasty and plenty for a starter for 2. For mains both myself and my husband each had BIBIMBAP my husband chose the sliced beef fillet and I had the marinated pork belly version which were both very authentic and tasty.
This is my new favourite restaurant in London. I will definitely be back. My friend and I shared the K-Town Street Feast Menu and the food was absolutely outstanding. There wasn't a single dish I didn't love, but my mouth is still watering from the incredible Korean Fried Chicken. The cocktails were delicious, generous and strong. The service was especially good. We were served by Antonio, who made the experience a real treat and kept us laughing the whole time. It's not cheap, but well worth the money. Loved it here.
Absolutely lovely - super helpful and happy staff
Amazing! My new favorite restaurant in London. Korean fried chicken is a must have, pointless going there if you don't try that.
Off the hook delicious food, friendly staff, rocked our feeble minds.
Nice staff and friendly
Food as not a long wait and was very nice. Second time I have been their and definitely not the last.
Really nice Korean fusion restaurant. The atmosphere is vibrant and fun. Good service and reasonable prices. I would recommend that you try their cocktails too.
Food was tasty. Service was great.
Great meal. We had the weekend brunch menu. Sharing platter to start, KFC and beef for mains, mango flavour ice for dessert. Delicious! Great cocktails, service and vibes.
Really enjoyable evening, good ambiance and great food but expect quite a large bill!
Doesn’t disappoint - the best Korean food with an even better twist! Great service too and with a trendy but relaxed vibe. Will be back!
Fun, vibrant, great food. £40 set menu is great value
Good food but way too noisy! Staff was ok, not too attentive and didn't turn down the volumne even after promising to do so. Wouldn't recomend this restaurant if you like to have a conversation while eating...
Amazing food, great atmosphere! Would definitely recommend!
Front of house, very rude!
Great food, good service, big portions in the set meal (£50).
Noisy but we expected that, good buzz.
First time at this delightful restaurant. We felt welcome from the minute we walked in. As we had not experienced this cuisine before we all opted for the £40 set menu. The food was very varied and beautifully presented. Our waiter was attentive without being overbearing and was really lovely. The whole experience was great and we will definately return.
Celebration meal with friends and family. Good choice in menu the food was brought out quickly and tasted amazing.
Delicious food and fantastic service, particularly enjoyed the prawncakes! Highly recommend for a night out with friends..will be back!
Great food and cocktails. Fun atmosphere for a Saturday night
JinJuu is I. The heart of the city in the back street of carnaby street London and full of life . I went with my two friends after an afternoon at the theatre and revived the ultimate service and excellent quality of food. The menu is full of great flavours and choices and accomadates well for those with dietary requirements. The staff were friendly helpful and of high level of service. I look forward to visiting again soon
Exceptional service by a waitress from Madrid. Terrific set menu with first-class edamame, well-varied dishes all of which were fresh tasting and with a tremendous range of textures and flavours. Not by any means cheap but very cheerful...Gewurtztraminer from Rouffach was the perfect wine; if only it was not so expensive: it costs about a quarter of the price in the village in Alsace. But it was a special occasion...No surprise that it was so busy. Music just the right side of too loud to hear conversation. Nicely accessible loo for people with mobility problems.
This was my 3rd visit to Jinjuu and I was really looking forward to having their signature Korean Fried Whole Chicken but I was disappointed to find it was only available as a small starter and had been relegated to the brunch menu. I think it is a big mistake not having this dish on the a la carte menu. I certainly won't be having an evening meal here again.
I've gone to Jinjuu 4 times already and never get dissapointed! The food is so tasty and the service is great!
Great service and tasty food!
Great service, bit expensive but worth it!
Food was not bad but it was a beautiful sunny day and it was a shame to spend lunch in such a dark and cold setting. Dumplings were particularly good, the ribs of the bone where quite dry. Waiter were nice.
Great staff, fabulous all day brunch menu food was delicious and fresh, brilliant atmosphere relaxing and cool would highly recommend x
Very good food high quality, good service from gentle people. Good wine list.
Fabulous, vibrant on trend restaurant with great bar area and good seating areas indoors and outside. Menu choices were Inticing from 3 set menu choices, mains and mini plates, vibrant salads and all the food we had was so tasty! The presentation of food was stunning!
My personal fav was the Fried tofu, Cauliflower and Chicken dishes. The staff were also very friendly too, they knew there stuff. Can not fault this place 10/10.
Thanks for a great time, Looking forward to the next time!
I visited Jinjuu for my birthday earlier this week and have a great evening with friends. Loved the menu and the set menu options for £40 / £50 /£60 were a great idea. Although, I do think £60 a head is a bit on the steep side when you can dine for cheaper at a Michelin starred restaurant!
Service was exemplary and they couldn't have tried harder. Great location
The food was sub par at best. Their food used to be good but was less than average this visit. Wouldn't go back. Plenty of real Korean restaurants in town to have to visit this has been.
Great place, this. I've been to the Jinjuu in Mayfair before, but this was first time at Kingly St and it will not be the last. They were kind and welcoming and very attentive throughout. The food was stand out delicious. I regret every little bit that I wasn't able to finish. I was really worried that the music would be invasively loud, but actually they had calibrated it perfectly, so it was atmospheric and enjoyable.
Seriously, the food really is good.
