Joe & Joe Nyack, Italian Eatery
We carry a great selection of craft beer and specialty cocktails made with freshly squeezed juices and house made simple syrups.
1st visit there, we sat outside b/c it was beautiful, but there were not enough servers outside even though it was a quiet Sunday night outside, the inside was busier. The food was very good, we will definitely go back again but when the patio begins to get more crowded, additional servers should be sent out there.
Always enjoyable and great food!
It was lovely eating outside on the patio. Plenty of parking. My seafood fra Diablo had plenty of excellent shrimp and clams. It was topped off with fried calamari an unusual touch. Only problem was the sauce was kind of bland. My wife’s meatball parmigiana (excellent) in marinara was much tastier. Overall a good experience.
Food was good, waiter was trying but it was packed and food took a while to come. Loud and difficult to have a conversation.
I do think I would still go back and see if it's better on a slower night. I love the food, interesting menu and all was tasty. (A bit pricey but still worth it)
Sat outside on a lovely night. Food and service were great! Will definitely go back and recommend to others.
Food was amazing! The staff is friendly and attentive. The drinks were creative and refreshing. The atmosphere is warm and inviting! I would definitely recommend for any occasion.
Also booked our holiday party in the private room in the back.
The place is amazing
My friend was late for our reservation, but it was not a problem; the staff could not have been more gracious. I enjoy the rare restaurant where patrons are not sitting on top of each other. And the food was amazing.
Can't wait to go back. We always visit our Nyack friend and make a point of dining at Joe and Joe. Best calamari ever and the pizzas are the best. Great service by Kaitlin and we wish there was a Joe and Joe near our home on Long Island !!
Love the menu here. Lots of healthy choices. I had the salmon salad. It was delicious.
Love the menu. Clams , nice & fresh
Great food. Staff friendly
Maybe a bit pricier than Pearl River J&J but worth it! Congrats and Buona Fortuna In Nyack! Cheers!
Always delicious. Service is excellent. Plenty of parking.
Overall is was a a great experience, try to go at least once a week.
Everything was excellent!! Food and service!!!
Beautiful restaurant with nice vibe. Food was excellent and looking forward to going back.
You have to try the Sausage & Broccoli Rabe Spring Rolls !! So good.
Joe and Joe was absolutely great. The facility is beautiful and the food is ample and delicious.
On the Saturday night we went, the restaurant was crowded and our food was delayed. The owner was absolutely gracious and apologetic.
We will certainly return soon.
We were greeted and seated promptly. Friendly service. Food was delicious! We both had the same main dish from the daily specials- shrimp were big and fresh, pasta was al dente. If there was a suggestion perhaps a little more pour in the wine glass. We will definitely be back!
Had my Birthday lunch with 3 friends from out of county. The lunch menu has many options. Everyone raved about their food. The place is super.
Came for dinner with a friend. Not your typical Italian restaurant, which was nice. Atmosphere was simple yet warm and inviting. We were seated by the window and enjoyed looking at the beautiful weather without dealing with the extreme heat outside. The menu was very creative, not your typical Italian fare (refreshing). They even have gluten free and low carb items which you can for.
We noticed the happy hour had a broccoli rabe/sausage egg roll however, it wasn't on the regular menu. Our waiter (Mike) was able to get it for us as an appetizer. Delicious! Although the dish came with a tasty tomato style sauce, it was so good that the egg rolls really didn't need it.
Our decent portioned entrees were penne with bolognese, and a citrus grilled organic salmon. The salmon dish included super fluffy and light cauliflower mashed potatoes, perfectly cooked salmon, and fresh (not overcooked) vegetables.
The dessert selection was quite extensive. The chocolate mousse cake we ordered tasted more like a brownie and kind of heavy, but tasty. My triple chocolate cake had a delicious ganache on top however, the other two layers didn't have much flavor.
There seemed to be a shortage of wait staff however, our waiter, Mike, was still friendly and attentive to us while he multi tasked.
Definitely plan on coming back here again, hopefully to enjoy dining outdoors next time. One of the best restaurants in Nyack.
We sat at the bar area. Fantastic and friendly waitress. Food was great once again. ALL 4 meals !!
Nice place with outstanding service. Prices are high for the food. Sat outside on a very nice patio.
The restaurant is amazing. The food is delicious and fresh, the staff and the service are terrific. The private party room is great for larger events. Our daughters Christening dinner was perfect. Did I mention the Titos Martinis with stuffed blue cheese olives are ice cold and refreshing? Yea that too. This restaurant is quickly placing its footprint in Nyack. Gotta stop by.
The drinks were very good as was the food. Pasta dishes and pizzas are great! Nice open air bar area and back patio. Eggplant Parmesan very good. The calamari is excellent!!!
My husband and I went for our anniversary. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. We have gone to Joe and Joe in Pearl River, but I think Joe and Joe Nyack is better.
Lovely.,great service , food looks good and tastes good.
Nice new neighborhood addition. Owner present and trying very hard. Kitchen slow, needs to improve. Food was very good. Full bar. Will try again for outdoor seating.
The food is fairy good. Price is good.
Very pleasing and enjoyable dinner.
Food was excellent. They had a large private party in the back when we dined there. It caused a back up in the kitchen and we had to wait about 40 minutes for our entrees. They should have offered us a cocktail or dessert to make up for the delay.
Other than that, we enjoyed our meal. Great drink menu and something for everyone to eat.
Uninspiring Italian food. Very disappointing...
We started with a great, high-top table by the window, just what we asked for. Server was very friendly, but not too attentive. Did not check on us for quite some time. Waited for 2 glasses of wine which never came. Once we were done with eating our main meal, I went to Anthony, who I did not know was the owner. Asked him to let our server know we wanted to cancel the wine order. He profusely apologized and insisted on giving us the wine anyway, on the house. Anthony then insisted once again, that we have dessert, also on him. Overall, the food & atmosphere were great. Anthony turned the one negative experience of our evening into quite a positive. Never care about free things, just attention and response. Looking forward to going back!
FIRST TIME TO THIS NEWER EATERY AND WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. THE FOOD WAS GREAT, THE SERVICE WAS ATTENTIVE AND VIBE WAS ENERGENIC. WILL BE BACK.
Say at a high top near the window. Great atmosphere and the Chicken Marsala was the best ever. Can’t wait to go back !!!
Excellent food, friendly staff, lovely ambiance! I would definitely go back again soon!
The ambiance, decor, style service, food were all amazing. the owner and staff are extra attentive. We've been there 3 times and will go back over and over again. We can't wait for the weather to improve in order to try dining outside.
After a nearby church event and in need of some sustenance, made a quick Open Table reservation for 9:45. Grew up literally across the street from the original Joe & Joe’s in the Bronx. Upon arrival, met with Anthony Longobardo, the owner. A fellow Bronxite and Holy Family parishioner, we reminisced. Had a great meal. Large portions with freshly made potato chips. Restaurant is smartly designed with a large pizza oven next to the bar.
Very nice experience. Something local and different. This was our third time there and recommended to several friends!
