Joe's Kitchen - Ludgate Hill
Good place to meet for breakfast that's not a formula Restaurant. Food when arrived good and not bad value for location. Poor waitress was run off her feet. So service a little haphazard. Could do with a wider variety of fresh juices. Otherwise a solid 7/10
Breakfast was not available, so we ordered a simple ham, egg and chips. 30mins later: nothing. When we asked, the meals magically appeared. They'd clearly been sitting under a heat lamp for a while - hence the rubbery cartoon-style eggs. The ham was a warmed slice of packet ham, the cheapest kind, usually seen at kids' parties. Avoid.
Team breakfast - great table, and nice food. Good atmosphere! Service slightly slow, but not complaining as food was worth the wait and its expected when in a larger group.
A good meal and excellent service. The fish and chips was huge. The burger was good but not show stopping. Great service.
We had a good time, service was a little slow but it was new years eve and they were busy. Food was of good quality, would definitely return.
Very average food - and the brunch menu ends at 12 noon sharp - far too early.
We had to wait for a little while as it was busy however the service was good and the food was good.
Great English food, good price, nice atmosphere
A lunch time venue and the lunch menu awesome value for money and the goyjons brilliant. Payment via app meant no waiting... Will be back
Disappointing food and service. My halloumi salad was appalling. The service was slow and indifferent. I went for lunch and asked for a quiet table but nobody obviously read my request because it was in between two tables very close to each other.
