The service was terrible - no one checked to see if our food was okay, we asked for water, it came about 30 minutes later, my friend was sick from the food, and the menu is just so blah. It has gone downhill over the last few years. Also annoying that the appetizers during happy hour aren't available all the time - for vegans, there is so little on the menu already.

Food was amazing except for the lobster pasta (new item) had zero flavour! ! Service sucked! Server didn’t introduce themselves, felt like we were being rushed. The host didn’t offer a welcome drink and gave directions to go find our table as the other guests had arrived already!!

It's been a long time since I visited Joey. What a major disappointment. It was a very busy Friday night. The ambiance was nice but quite noisy. We were told to wait while they set up our table. In the end, we were seated at the table which had been available since we walked in. So why made us wait? Our server took some time to arrive with the menu. She said someone else would bring us water. It took 10 minutes! Then another 10-15 min passed before our server came to take our orders. We ordered Steak & Ravioli Bianco and Steak Classic. The food was beautifully plated, but the seasoning was off. The steaks were overly salty, but at least they were cooked to medium rare as requested. The crispy mashed potatoes were tasty but chewy, not crispy at all. The "prawns" for the ravioli Bianco were just shrimps. Only the broccolini and the ravioli were well made. The worst part of the meal was that everything was lukewarm and borderline cold. Our server was not seen until we almost finished our meal. She didn't notice our empty glasses. We had to ask her for more water. Interestingly, the service picked up after we were served with more water. The server who refilled our water, cleared our table and one of the hostesses asked what else do we need. I guess, it was almost time for happy hour, and they needed our table back. We were going to try a dessert but after seeing it took more than 30 minutes for the dessert to come out for the table across, we changed our mind. The service was by far the worst of the year. There were plenty of staff working in the restaurant. They were rushing around us but we were unsure what they were busy with, given we received minimal service. We dined at other restaurants that had less staff or even understaffed before, and we had much better service. I tipped below the recommended amount for the lack of service. Maybe because of that, our server didn't even say bye to us when she walked past us as we got up from the table.
