Delicious but pricey food, well cooked and presented. Who said ‘sharing plates’ are over? Service nicely attentive but not intrusive. Seems like Jolene is here to stay in this venue that’s seen a high turn over of restaurants and cafes in recent years which is good.

Was sat at the bar which wasn’t the best at brunch as there was someone washing up in front if us, people back and forth to the toilet, people picking up pastries which didn’t give you much room to eat plus we couldn’t see the menu from where we were sitting . Better to ensure you sit in the main area.

Tightly packed. Great atmosphere. Brilliant salads (tomato and burrata, erbette w pangrattatao) and heavenly deserts (lemon posset and chocolate something). Average small dishes (2 pastas) and rather boring large one (hake). Good but expensive wine. Great to have in neighbourhood.

Love this place, always want to go. Will keep going for sure. One thing is if there's a limited time we can stay for lunch we should know at time of booking to plan accordingly.

Nothing was bad, nothing was great. Food was average overall - a small portion of something decent (a take on gnocchi), yet utterly not memorable. Given the price, relatively low value for money.

Service was below average - me and my friend ordered one dish each. My friend’s arrived and mine took a little while longer, probably around 7 minutes more, which is too long. So she started before mine arrived as her food was getting cold.

A tiny serving of orange juice.

Coffee was not bad.

All in all a clean 2.5-3.0 out of 5.

Wonderful meal at Jolene last week. The space is beautiful - open but feels warm and like you can sink into a corner and relax. Staff were welcoming and warm, ambience was really nice- we got there around 7 and the restaurant filled up over the course of our stay and had a really good buzz of chatter and dining. The food was great- we had olives and garlic bread, spelt with wild garlic and potato and fava ravioli with puntarelle, and then a sticky ginger cake and possibly the best flourless chocolate cake I've ever tasted. Was a really nice treat and great to support somewhere with integrity and quality.

Gorgeous food, and impeccable service just as you’d expect from the people who own Primeur and Westerns laundry. Leave room for dessert and if you like wine expect to splash out because the wine list is quite pricey

really enjoyed it, restaurant has a great feel about it, the staff are attentive without getting in the way. We thought it was excellent value for money as the food was almost perfect, we just thought the custard served with the bread and butter pudding should have been hotter but a really small detail. We would thoroughly recommend it and will go again

Great new restaurant. We ordered 6 dishes and each one was fantastic! The menu changes all the time so pointless highlighting anything in particular. The service was also a cut above - we were using our fingers to mop up the roast onion gravy and our waitress, who had clocked us, quickly brought over some complimentary bread to help! Nice wines too with some affordable options. It was an expensive meal, so not somewhere I’d go regularly, but you get what you pay for!

The baked goods are awesome, and you can tell the ingredients in the dishes are high quality, but the dishes themselves aren't very well balanced. Bit too salty and rich, could be great though...

The noise level - specifically from the table behind - made talking impossible and also disrupted service. There were frequent apologies from staff that the kitchen’s attention to the table behind us had delayed service elsewhere. Three of us ate but one person’s pasta came after two of us had already finished. Two items were forgotten and then delivered late - at which point we would have been better without. Food was really nice when we got it but we need up having to shout at each other all night and would not repeat the experience.

I’m a huge fan of sister restaurants Primeur and Westins Laundry. Jolene’s for breakfast/brunch is excellent. For dinner, the service was ever-so slightly too quick (I’m sorry... that’s a ridiculous thing to say... I’d certainly prefer too quick over too slow. But, the food came so rapidly that we hardly had time to catch up before we’d finished. So my preference is breakfast here, lunch at Westins, followed by dinner at Primeur. I’m a fan!
