We the Dawat tasting menu, most of which was excellent. Their cocktails are unusual and very good. The wine is a bit pricey. Overall a very pleasant experience

The best thing about this restaurant was its staff. Every single one of them really friendly, and courteous and wanted to look after us I am really surprised at the food quality, and presentation which is meant to have been created by a Michelin-star chef. Specially after reading his Kahani (story) where he claims that he wanted to raise the level of Indian food in the UK. He has basically created what many many great restaurants are serving without the price tag. All the food was good but nothing amazing. Quality was similar to or lower than my local For the Biryani, the rice was soft and the lamb was tough. Chicken on the bone had a lot of fat/cartilage on it even though the flavours were good, making it difficult to eat Ambiance was great I wanted to book a table for 6pm but it showed no availability for that time so I had to book for 5pm. We were there till after 6pm and only 2 more tables were filled. There is some sort of issue with the online booking system and the actual availability I was expecting great food that I couldn't get at a regular Indian restaurant specially after reading the story but I did not get that so it was very disappointing

We chose this restaurant for my husbands 60th birthday lunch and it definitely lived up to our expectations.There were a variety of menus to choose from and we opted for the unlimited lunch. The food was extremely tasty and great size portions. It was excellent value for money and will definitely have no hesitation in recommending

Fabulous food, friendly service at a good tempo and a great night out. Shame the lighting on our booth was a little dark but we were very grateful for the quiet atmosphere that allowed easy conversation despite one of our party being hard of hearing.

Service 10/10 Food 10/10 I saw some reviews complaining about the service so I was quite conscious about it, the service genuinely could not have been better, it was my girlfriends birthday and they even made her a unique cake without me even asking. it Was the most fantastic evening and we both said it was the best taster menu we’ve experienced!

Access downstairs a little difficult. Tables fairly crowded but comfortable. My wife had vegetarian 4 course taster and I had the adapted 4 course taster as pescatarian. Food generally very good. Fish curry a little short of fish and swimming in nice sauce. Service generally good.

The food was lovely and the restaurant itself was divine. Flavours were complex and absolutely exquisite. Service was a bit lacking- we had servers come quite a bit at the beginning to aid in beverages but once food came out it was hard to get help. Also in-between each course we waited almost an hour for the next course- do make sure you go with with plenty of time.
