With 48 taps of craft beer, wine, and cider, Kai offers one of the largest selections in Kailua-Kona town.

We take a limited number of reservations daily, but we always keep space available for walk-ins.
Even if OpenTable shows no availability, please come on in and we’ll be happy to seat you.

Pizzas are very good. Eggplant parmesan was thin, heavy, oily, in a sauce that tasted like a cheap jar from the grocery store. A usually lengthy selection of beers turned out to be “out of stock” on some staples like Big Wave. Very pleasant service. Loud because of big surf.

This is our "Go To" place for a GOOD meal! The atmosphere, being on the water, and the service! Food is ALWAYS good and so is the service. We've eaten here many times, and we send all our B&B guests here as well! You can't go wrong!

Overall, the ab Overall, the service and ambiance were great, and the portions were a good size for the price. My only suggestion would be more variety in the pasta, especially homemade options. Most choices were spaghetti or fettuccine and didn’t taste homemade, and some sauces were over-portioned, making the pasta a bit soupy. Overall, a good experience and a great option for watching the sunset by the water.

Shout-out to the staff! It was the first day post-LaLa and the restaurant and service were on point as usual. I know everyone must have had to go to great effort to be there and it is appreciated.

Went for HH got a tall table and was served by the bartender which was nice. The noise level was very high so not much conversation going on.
