The Ned can do no wrong... Great vibe, great food and good company. First time at Kaia but definitely not the last...
The food was amazing, everything was really tasty. And the ambiance was lovely, the singers were great, it felt very Christmassy. The service was poor in Kaia. We were looking around for the waiting staff several times and could not find them to order etc. The other real down side was the fact that although we spent £300 on a “substantial meal” in Kaia, to have drinks literally ten steps from where we have had our meal to sit by the Christmas tree we were told we have to buy another meal. Same hotel, same roof, just a different seat and yet we had to buy a whole other meal. We couldn’t even have pudding and then a drink, we had to buy main courses. Why would we do that? Really unreasonable and a ridiculous interpretation of the government policy.
a very pleasant surprise. outstanding in every way. Food was out of this world and very different
Food was of mixed quality. I wouldn’t go there again
Honestly a beautiful place with wonderful decor. Nice and bustling with great food! I recommend the black cod and the spicy tuna maki!
One thing is is that their social distancing measures are pretty non existent.
Really tasty, well presented food. Service was very attentive and helpful when deciding food and drinks
We were really looked after and given a table in the Vault so we could continue our evening which was much appreciated. Fantastic service.
Kaia is a favourite. Food quality is excellent, ambience perfect. It’s a real treat.
Love the building and our waitress. Food nothing to write home about if I’m honest. Wasn’t bad but not in a rush to rerun.
Lovely experience, beautiful decorations, JFC was delicious!
Wonderful building, excellent food, good service, just one issue is the size of the Saki bottle... it should be double the size for the prices charged. I am already planning a return visit for my family very soon!
I have been a couple of times and the food is always excellent. Staff are warm and friendly. Thank you to the gentleman on the reservations line who put up with my numerous calls when my friends were running late patiently and the lady on reception who kindly moved my booking to a later time. Will definitely return!
The food was most delicious - great ambiance and very pleasant service. The only critiisiam is we made felt a bit rushed being told that we only had 1 1/2 hours and being reminded again.
Best date spot in London, with amazing service and incredible, mouth watering food.
Best sushi in London :) very fresh fish. I will be back!
Most amazing food, prompt friendly service. 100% recommend.
Always fabulous!
This is one of my favorite restaurants in London. The salmon, the black cod, the prok belly and the lamb chops are all spectacular. The service is great and location is really special. It's a place I would choose for my birthday or any night in the week after work. It's a perfect formal informal.
It was a nice dinner, the service was great albeit a little slow to take our order to begin with which meant that we were quite rushed to finish before the 10pm deadline. The food was amazing and I would recommend Kaia. The only slight disappointment was that during the booking process they ask if the reservation is for a special occasion, the dinner was for our anniversary and nothing was mentioned at all - why ask if you do nothing with the information.
Food delicious. Great service. Thank you will be back
Food was spectacular, and the service super prompt!
Great food and fantastic service. Even with Covid regulations it was an enjoyable evening
fab vibe and atmosphere. kind and helpful staff. such a grand place
Amazing food, good portion sizes to order lots of different things to try. Service was great and food came quickly, highly recommend.
Family Celebration
First time at Kaia.
Food is nothing special. Substandard food - over priced. There are much better Japanese restaurants in London.
Took my wife for her birthday and made sure that was clear on the reservation. Expected a birthday gesture but it didn’t happen.
Service felt rushed from the moment we arrived.
Kaia is our favorite restaurant in London. The atmosphere is like stepping into a movie. Live music, it is just always very festive!
Food was very basic, Ordered the wagyu steak, didn't have the texture of wagyu at all, and the flavour was drown in what can only be described as Branston pickle on top of it. The broccoli ad Fried chicken were good but very basic. Social Distancing was impossible at the resturant
Amazing food and great staff. Cannot fault at all.
Very disappointed with the food unfortunately. Obviously it cost a lot and it wasn’t good at all.
We had two servers a female who was lovely and a male who really wasn’t polite and he was very abrupt and borderline rude.
Have been a number of times.
Good in the current circumstances. The staff were busy so some wait for drinks and menus. Assume staffing levels are stretched by the covid problem.
Loved it the food was amazing really fresh and some were unusual
Good value, guaranteed fresh and gastronomical experience.
Have to say I was very impressed. the food was good and we had bit to share and the waiter made sure we had enough pieces to share for all 4 of us.
Drinks were good too.
We could have spent the whole evening there but we had our 10pm curfew which they reminded us very professionally and politely.
Can’t wait to go back!
Incredible food, wonderful staff and a great atmosphere. The Sake list is great and the Poke Bowl, Steak and Lamb Cutlets were delish!
First time at the Ned, it was great, I would go back again. The food was creative and I didn't leave hungry. It was louder than I was expecting, considering there are fewer people in the building than normal due to social distancing. Still, I liked my evening just fine.
Consistently good , the best dish is the Black Cod.
I always really enjoy the food at Kaia. We had a very healthy selection of broccoli, asparagus, mushrooms, aubergine with sides of tuna. A friend had the double salmon poke bowl. The edamame are great - just the right temperature. It'd be nice for vegans if we could have a trio of vegetables in slightly smaller portions as we over-ordered just to have variety. The music was a tad loud last week.
Great for business meetings and quick dinner fixes with lust
Excellent food and ambiance. Slightly overpriced, however would come back for a special occasion.
