Food was very basic, Ordered the wagyu steak, didn't have the texture of wagyu at all, and the flavour was drown in what can only be described as Branston pickle on top of it. The broccoli ad Fried chicken were good but very basic. Social Distancing was impossible at the resturant
Amazing food and great staff. Cannot fault at all.
Very disappointed with the food unfortunately. Obviously it cost a lot and it wasn’t good at all.
We had two servers a female who was lovely and a male who really wasn’t polite and he was very abrupt and borderline rude.
Have been a number of times.
Good in the current circumstances. The staff were busy so some wait for drinks and menus. Assume staffing levels are stretched by the covid problem.
Loved it the food was amazing really fresh and some were unusual
Good value, guaranteed fresh and gastronomical experience.
Have to say I was very impressed. the food was good and we had bit to share and the waiter made sure we had enough pieces to share for all 4 of us.
Drinks were good too.
We could have spent the whole evening there but we had our 10pm curfew which they reminded us very professionally and politely.
Can’t wait to go back!
Incredible food, wonderful staff and a great atmosphere. The Sake list is great and the Poke Bowl, Steak and Lamb Cutlets were delish!
First time at the Ned, it was great, I would go back again. The food was creative and I didn't leave hungry. It was louder than I was expecting, considering there are fewer people in the building than normal due to social distancing. Still, I liked my evening just fine.
Consistently good , the best dish is the Black Cod.
I always really enjoy the food at Kaia. We had a very healthy selection of broccoli, asparagus, mushrooms, aubergine with sides of tuna. A friend had the double salmon poke bowl. The edamame are great - just the right temperature. It'd be nice for vegans if we could have a trio of vegetables in slightly smaller portions as we over-ordered just to have variety. The music was a tad loud last week.
Great for business meetings and quick dinner fixes with lust
Excellent food and ambiance. Slightly overpriced, however would come back for a special occasion.
My food was very good though my husband said his salmon was a little dry. Only 2 out of 4 desserts were available.
I thought the service was a little rushed until we got to the desserts.
It's not the place to go for a long evening out but great for a quick meal.
Great food in an impressive venue, The Ned. A must if you're in the City of London.
We want for our 20th wedding anniversary. It was just perfect for just a special occasion. The food was sublime and the service impeccable.
After our food we moved into the main lounge area where we had a few drinks. The guitarist and piano player were amazing and it was nice to have something else to listen too.
We will definitely be back and maybe even stay over the night.
Thankyou for making our evening so special.
fantastic food, well prepared and presented. The service was attentive without being obtrusive and the staff coped well with the Covid19 restrictions
Always a fab experience at Kaia, even with the curfew.
Wonderful atmosphere, good friendly service, excellent food.
Was a horrible experiance kept getting treated like a little child and reminded to wear a mask and social distance wont be going to the ned in the near future what was once a great venue as gone down the pan.
The food was prompt and delicious. Try the lamb cutlets. service was great, area was nice and spacious. Well worth the visit.
Excellent food and service however I have been charged 4 times for same meal as a problem with the card machine and now waiting to see if I will be charged as they are all pending!!
Absolutely love Kaia, incredible food! Could not recommend enough! The black cod is one of the best things I’ve ever tasted! Thank you so much for 50% off for NHS staff!
Lovely evening out
Such a fun time with great service! Atmosphere is lovely
The food was great, however we felt a little rushed - we wanted to enjoy a drink after our meal however we were told they needed the table! We had only been there for just under an hour and a half, slightly disappointing!
Wonderful meal. Only food we think could be tastier were the pork dumplings.
Perhaps more enticing dessert options too.
Great food great service. Thank you Kaia, would highly recommend
One of my favourite restaurants to go to when celebrating with friends. The food tastes as amazing as it looks!
Staff are all lovely and very helpful. Would go again
Terrible - don’t go. Food spicy without warning. No covid care
Beautiful venue, amazing food and presentation. Friendly, happy staff. Great atmosphere. Will definitely return.
Excellent place for a nice evening with your friends! Food is amazing, especially black cod and tuna with pineapple cubes!
If you love sushi, Kaia is the place to go!
Service was great, and very clear about track & trace which was reassuring. Beautiful food and amazing cocktails, and could hear the music from the bandstand round the corner which added to the ambience.
Excellent starters and mains, but on the small side. Black cod was the highlight! The dessert - dissppointing. Dry and not sweet enough. Excellent service, lovely ambiance. Although the live act nowhere near as good as before the lockdown.
Delicious food & great service. My favourite restaurant
Delicious food, friendly staff and got 50% off the food on Eat out to Help out so very good value.
Understanding and taking into account the changes needed to adhere to the new normal, Kaia felt safe and secure. That said, we waited 15 mins for anyone to come to us to take our order and another 10 mins for the drinks order to arrive. The food was very, very nice but felt a little over priced. Empty plates were sitting with us so long that I cleared the table myself in the end. Other than that, all good.
We loved our food and experience. The only thing we noticed was that the chef's were not all wearing their masks appropriately (noses out etc).
The food and location where both great. However, the service was incredibly slow - any time we wanted to order we had to flag down the waiter. The waiter was very nice, but perhaps they were understaffed (but there seemed to be lots of other staff hanging around the bar). We would still go back, as hopefully we caught them on an off night.
