Kaia is an Asian-Pacific-inspired restaurant specialising in healthy food, with poke bowls and mains from the grill served over the counter.

Brunch has landed at Kaia, every Saturday, 12-3pm. Indulge in a selection of starters and maki rolls, followed by a choice of main, finishing with a pudding selection to share. Brunch at Kaia is priced at £45 pp. Or go premium for £65 pp. Enjoy free-flowing Asian inspired seasonal cocktails as an add on for £20 pp.

Please be advised bookings cannot be made for drinks only. Expect counter seating. Pets, other than registered guide dogs are not permitted in public areas or restaurant at The Ned. We will try to accommodate pushchairs where possible, please be aware there may not be space at the table. If you would like to request a highchair or for further information, contact the restaurant directly. The Ned reserves the right to refuse or cancel any reservation either ahead or upon arrival.

Efficient service that warmed up over the course of the meal. Expected more from the cocktails that were lacking in flavour / punch (go to Cecconis for 10/10 whiskey cocktails). Excellent ambience and solid sushi.

We had an excellent meal at Kaia. Nice to visit the City again and restaurant ideally located opposite to Bank underground station. We were ideally placed to go to Waterloo and walk to the Young Vic theatre.

Overall the food and waiters were fantastic and a clear reason for us to go back. The arrival experience almost put us off as they initially sat us at the very very far end of the restaurant where we would have sat opposite one another and would have had to shout as the acoustics are not the best. I requested to sit next to my friend and it seemed to cause a bit of an issue, but it was rectified and they had us sitting at a less desirable spot on the long bank. Fortunately the waiter taking our order was lovely and the delicious food came promptly and for sure we will come back.

Like with every visit, the food is always phenomenal and the service is always lackluster. If you're going to eat here which I recommend you do as it's the best sushi in the City, be ready to flag down your server for everything aside from initial beverage orders. Otherwise, you will be waiting.
