Everything was perfect, the service the food and the atmosphere.great staff, very helpful.will return definitely.
We had a fantastic dinner and experience. All staff was lovely and our somellier made our experience really special!
Couple of good staff, wine waiter was nowhere to be seen most of the meal. Thought service was really not as polished as one would expect from The Savoy. Enjoyed it nonetheless.
Kaspars is a vert good sea food restaurant in an iconic location , The Savoy Hotel. Food and service was very good if a little pricey! Wines were well priced! If going to The Savoy Theatre, which we were doing, there is no finer place to dine
This was a special family occasion and we were looked after so beautifully. The restaurant was truly magnificent. The Savoy lived up to its reputation. The staff were friendly but hugely professional. We had champagne and oysters and everything was perfect. Couldn’t praise this enough. Amazing.
We were guided through the menu and chose prawns, and scallops for starters and salmon with chorizo, and Guinea fowl for mains. The food was excellent. As the restaurant was not very busy the waiting staff had time to talk to us and they helped make a special occasion lovely. A surprise dessert was produced congratulating us on our anniversary. Thank you very much for making our day very special.
Arrived early and had cocktails at the Beaufort bar. Nice way to start the dinner. Staff were attentive, our sommelier was great as was the food. A lovely evening.
We would absolutely recommend Kasparov to a friend . It is an amazing experience. The staff are friendly polite and tentative on a whole other level.
It is a treat.
Absolutely love this place - would highly recommend it whether you’re just visiting or love in London.
The atmosphere was lovely, the dinner was full of fresh flavors, and the service over the top!
We celebrated my Dad’s 87th birthday and the entire hotel staff made him feel like celebrity.
Thank you Savoy!
Just fabulous.. service pitched perfectly, food divine. Such a beautiful restaurant. Thank you Kasper’s
40th wedding anniversary
Amazing Service and Outstanding Food. Will definitely be returning
I booked Kaspar's at the Savoy for a surprise 60th Birthday breakfast for my wife, our two daughters, their partners and our granddaughter. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were treated like royalty - nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were absolutely delightful. The quality of the breakfast, pastries and drinks was of the highest standard and I, naturally, thoroughly recommend Kaspar's at the Savoy. We shall definitely return when the next 'significant' Birthday comes around. Thank you everyone at Kaspar's.
Service was slow to start but improved considerably. Loved that we could hear the music coming from the foyer and enjoyed the pre dinner cocktails very much. My husbands bisque was the best he ever had, I only had one veggie option but it is a fish restaurant and so this is expected and the risotto was very good.
Outstanding ingredients prepared perfectly. The menu is fish-based with a French approach, but it's sufficiently flexible that (for example) you can order butter-free dishes and still experience the best of the cuisine. There's enough activity to provide atmosphere, but at the same time you can have a proper conversation with your dining companion. Service is friendly, very good indeed, and discreet (occasionally too discreet!). Highly recommended for special occasions or when you deserve a treat.
Staying at The Savoy is a memorable experience. And dining in its fine restaurants is a treat. So we did it for our 50th wedding anniversary last year and decided to do it again for our 51st one this year. The food, drink, and service at both Kaspar's and The Savoy Grill are just the very best. Thanks one more for two wonderful evenings of dining at The Savoy.
Kaspar’s is my go to dining spot for pre-theatre and friends get togethers. Food is always good and portions ample .
They have the option of a la carte or set menu and an extensive wine and cocktail list.
The dining area is beautiful and distinctively Art Deco with glass fixtures by Lalique. The Savoy has such glamorous history .
The only grumble I would have is the restaurant is not sectioned off acoustically from the foyer area where Afternoon tea is served . This means constant piano noise from the resident pianist . Can be a bit much when trying to have a dinner conversation.
Would still recommend Kaspar’s as a London institution for dining .
I recently visited Kasper's for the first time for lunch with my friend for my Birthday. It was a late booking (2days before) and surprised I was able to obtain a table, but glad I did! Opt for the Set Menu which had pleasing options and very good value. The food was absolutely exceptional and the ambiance was very elegant and polished, it made for a great meal for a special occasion. I was also treated to a nice surprise when the waiter brought me dessert with "Happy Birthday!" written on it, after I told him the reason for our visit. Overall, I love this Restaurant, and will return again and to also sample the Savoy Grill, another restaurant based in the Savoy Hotel.
A wonderful experience. Wonderful food, wonderful service, beautiful place.
Great food drinks staff an interior of one of the iconic hotels in the world I’m a little biast as my late father originally furnished it
But really super
Outstanding, as usual. We make it a point to eat at Kaspar's each time we visit London.
Kaspar's is a lovely setting and as the restaurant was quiet when we arrived (which I thought was unusual on a Saturday evening at 8pm) we could pretty much choose our seat. The starters, one crab and the other scallops were beautiful and were good value for money. The main courses were fillet steak and lobster linguine. In my opinion the steak at £46 was expensive for the size of the fillet, no sides were included so we opted for chips. There was only 6 chips to the portion, which at £6 I also thought was a bit excessive. The lobster linguine was nice and the portion was good. We had a lovely bottle of Malbec which went well with the steak. I also have to say that the service was extremely good, attentive but not intrusive and our waiter, Alex was lovely. Would I recommend Kaspar's, it's a difficult one as there are so many beautiful restaurants in London but it is the Savoy so I'm glad I've experienced it, would I rush back though? Probably not...
Another great meal at Kaspers. The food is absolutely fantastic and married with a great choice of wines. Still my favourite restaurant in London, especially if you like Seafood. Highly recommended, just hope they can continue to maintain their high standards, as it would be sorry to see them slip. Looking forward to next time - Mark and Natalie Sweeny
Wonderful food and fabulous service. Great ambience and surrounding.
Sommelier was very helpful when choosing the drinks for the evening.
Nice historic premices. Courtuous service. Good food. Nice wine list.
A pleasant place to have a Sunday lunch.
Absolutely perfect. Staff friendly extremely helpful and knowledgable. Service and food amazing and beautifully presented.
Excellent pre theatre lunch , good menu, tasty food , served by enthusiastic staff who wanted to be there
Great dining experience. The food was amazing and service very attentive.
Best experience ever, will go again, thanks for lovely services
Food was excellent. We were celebrating our anniversary and the restaurant included a brownie for the occasion.
However they forgot to serve two items that were ordered and didn’t do anything to adjust for that. We ordered desert, not knowing there would be a brownie, and with one of the items forgotten being the coffee with dessert I would have expected the dessert to be comped.
Overall food was mediocre except for the linguini which as totally unacceptable, over cooked and floating in a questionable sauce. Service as adequate but nothing special, all serving staff had uniforms with dirty marks all over them which gives an impression of being unhealthy in a restaurant situation.
Ambiance was what it has always been but I see a big change from the last visit. Place was almost empty.
There are better places to eat at that price range. I took guests and was very disappointed because it gave a very bad impression.
Excellent meal and attentive service
Good service and perfectly adequate food but not inspiring and expensive. Except for champagnes thought the wine list narrow. Sommelier offered nothing except agreeing with our choice of wines. Hated the (too loud) background music
This restaurant is a terrible value. I paid 52 pounds for Dover Sole with little taste and no sides. It was recommended by my waiter. The band was too loud and could barely hold a conversation. The service was perfunctory. The restaurant was half-full or less and I would not go again. The oysters were very good, however. Very disappointed overall in the experience.
First time to visit Kaspar and in keeping with the Savoy service I was suitablly impressed. The service was impeccable. The food was good but would have liked it better if more of the fish dishes didn't contain some sort of meat addition. The table had this big base and I couldn't get comfortable. Don't get me wrong this place is amazing with a great range of food but I am extremely fussy. I probably wouldn't attend again as I found the Savoy Grill had a much better range for me. This is my personal preference.
Absolutely outstanding. The service was impeccable: unlike other restaurants there was no rush to get us out for the next customers. We had some dietary requirements which they happily catered to. A truly wonderful experience.
The Savoy Hotel is a beautiful place to eat . I’ve eaten at Kaspar’s several times over the years as a real treat after visiting London and before going home from Waterloo. I took my daughter for an early evening meal. We ate a smoked fish starter which we shared, followed by a main course and coffee , plus both had a G&T . The bill came to £170 for the 2 of us . I think this has now become too pricey for me and a pity because I’m not exactly poor and a real foodie but I felt this was too expensive for most people except billionaires !
The staff couldn’t have been kinder when my daughter with eight week old grandson arrived as a surprise and joined us for lunch.
