Fabulous as usual, celebrated a birthday with friends in a beautiful restaurant. Food was delicious with great seafood, their lobster bisque was loved by all. Only slight disappointment was seafood assiette, some parts of it were tasteless, not what I expected especially at the premium price. Otherwise lovely staff , very friendly and tables spaced apart so it was quiet enough to hear each other talk! Yeah!
Well done Kaspar's, my fourth time there and I love going there for special occasions.

This was a special occasion for us and the atmosphere, service and setting did not disappoint. The starters and mains were excellent and there was plenty of choice. The dessert menu was slightly disappointing and our choices were beautifully presented but we probably shouldn’t have chosen them. It is a delightful place to dine and we will return and recommend to others.

My friend and I were celebrating our 60th birthdays and had a fabulous 2 hour lunch. The service was just as good as the food and we were very kindly given a complimentary glass of wine each and additional sweet decorated with birthday wishes. I made a faux pas regarding the lemon wrapped in muslin and the waiter graciously explained why it was wrapped in such a way whilst probably thinking "we have another one here" LOL. Fabulous experience and one I hope to repeat asap.

I came here for breakfast.
It was great, and the thing that made it even better was the staff. From a guy who eats out a lot, I like to think I know what I'm talking about. My breakfast here was 110% on point.
Assistant manager (forgot his name) superb, and our waiter too. super elegant and very knowledgable.

We celebrated our 20th Anniversary at Kaspars and overall we were very satisfied with the experience. Experience is the keyword as the Ambiance was fantastic with an elegant dining room, excellent service and excellent music in the background provided by a Jazz Trio in the adjacent bar. The champagne we ordered was not good value in realistic terms. It was extremely expensive but it was expected as the cost of being in the atmosphere. Nothing however very special about the vintage that would justify the cost. For the starter we got the seafood sharing platter, Best of the Sea and while also expensive, it was adequate for serving two. For intermediate I got the Lobster Bisque and my wife got the Scallops. The bisque was elegantly presented being poured at the table and was not very expensive. I have had better bisque at other restaurants as it did not taste as rich as I would have expected. My wife liked the Scallops which came with a squid ink risotto (we think). For my main, I got the Duo of Veal. It was a small portion for the price but we were pretty full so not an issue. It was however pretty bland, especially the veal medallions. I did not taste much seasoning so it did not pop. The gnocchi was also bland. The morel mushrooms and chicory were better. For deserts we got the Orely's Chocolate and the Caramelized Apple Taste Tatin which were both excellent.

This experience was superlative as usual. Rosaria was exceptional. We much preferred dining at Kaspars to Kerridge’s at the Corinthia no comparison at all Very enjoyable and memorable thank you from Chris and Maria Gabriel

Such a shame that our experience wasn’t a great one and it being my mum’s 80th birthday (although we didn’t mention that as she didn’t want any fuss) - you think of the Savoy and how special it would be!! Took an absolute age to get the wine on the table, had to ask twice for a jug of water. There were 4 of us, 3 had starters, lobster bisque and oysters were very good, my scallops weren’t great. Main courses of fillet beef, lovely,cooked as requested, lobster linguine (basically the lobster bisque starter) with pasta, far too rich and nothing special, line caught cod, minuscule and served with nothing, Halibut fried and greasy. Side orders of duck fat chips and carrots and coriander both ok. Just one dessert of vanilla ice cream, two scoops, again nothing special! Calypso coffee, normal white coffee £360. I’m not a tight person and am happy to pay for good food and service. We didn’t get that! Art Deco restaurant nicely done and the bar looked good, Hardly anyone in the restaurant. Tea looked nice in the room next to ours and the pianist was fanatic! Had better food and service at the Grumpy Mole. They say, smart casual, people roaming about in jeans and backpaks. Needs to be a lot more polished and special. Best thing is the toilets! Would I go there again, nope!!

Good job we had booked the theatre afterwards for the special 80th celebrations!!

I ordered the Giunie Fowl which was wonderful. Whilst I know this is fine dining the portion was rather small and I left the table still feeling hungry. Not what you expect after dinner.

Kaspar @ the Savoy doesnt disappoint! Seafood is fantastic and with genenous portion, so many option, decor is classic, every details, every bit of the history, even down to the 14th guest Kaspar cat made this place a treasure.
There are veggie/vegan options available - portion could be a bit bigger :o) and the staff are very acccommodating, attentive to service.

Live music on the evening, this place is gorgeous, with very elaborate bird cage for the musicians, and floral decorations, and the scents and everything is just wonderful. very welcoming and great place to dine for special occasion.

Pre theatre meal in Kasper's restaurant is something we have done a number of times and again it proved to be another very enjoyable visit.
Our waitress was a very friendly informative young Italian lady, who looked after our every need, she added greatly to our experience 5 star.

Our visit began with the odours of a fish and chip takeaway. The smell lingered in my hair and clothes well after we left despite taking a seat as far from the windows as possible.
Please do not misinterpret my love of seafood. However, I don't want to "smell" the kitchen in the dining room.
I found myself with my companion, ordering from two menus. I don't want to hear from staff that it entails the logistics of a D-Day landing. Let me advise management. Just don't make a song and dance about it, and get the job done discretely.
Likewise, the handling of a gluten free guest led to the delivery of a bread bun straight out of the microwave. No choice. Chewy and wholly inedible. May I direct your chef to Dan Moon at the Gainsborough in Bath.
The risotto was totally flavourless until we requested an addition of parmesan and truffle oil. The latter could not be provided!
One of the deserts was so dry, it had obviously been "air dried" for some considerable time before serving.
The best "management" could come up with was to remove it from our bill
No offer to replace with something better.
We will return when the air quality issues with effective extraction are addressed and you refer management for professional training.
I lament the loss of Rocco Forte when the service was perfect.

My daughter and I enjoyed a fabulous pre-theatre meal in Kaspar’s.
Often a set-menu can feel like a ‘not quite’ experience - but the food was really excellent and the service and ambience made it feel like a very special experience. I can’t recommend it highly enough

Breakfast arrived lukewarm and had to be sent back. Boring tasteless coffee. Cold brown under toasted toast. Taken by a friend as a birthday treat and couldn’t believe the cost of £32 for a breakfast not nearly as good as my local cafe. Tiny portion of beans and bready sausage. A total disgrace. Will never go to the Savoy again.
