This is not the first time we have been to Kaspars, and this visit did not disappoint . We went for my husbands birthday and from the minute we arrived everything was perfect. Great attention was paid to every detail, the food was excellent as always and my husband was even given a small birthday cake. The service is very good without being intrusive. We will of course be going back.
Booked this restaurant for a family dinner - it was glorious! Our server Michalis was excellent. Food was exquisite and our experience was rounded off with live music! Wish I could give more stars.
The food is very good without being amazing. The service is first rate as you would expect. The room is very grand. However, it’s very expensive for the average person.
My friend and I had a very enjoyable meal. The food and service were very good. It was a pre theatre meal and although the portions were small, the menu was interesting and varied
Fantastic meal /music and staff and the whole hotel.x
Really enjoyed my visit. Food was great we had the rib eye and quail breast with baked Alaska. Really enjoyable.
Just a cope fo faults, service wise our waiter, talk about keen. He would appear ready to take our order without giving us time to have a look at the menu. To be fair he thought we had a theatre reservation which we did not but felt a bit rushed throughout.
Other diners were also allowing children to pay on phones loudly. Given the cost and general ambience this was distracting.
Otherwise a very enjoyable experience.
7 of the 8 courses eaten by our party were exemplary , the rose veal being the surprising exception as some of the meat was dry and sinewy.
The service team had changed since our last visit and looked under-prepared and lethargic; over 45 minutes passed before we received our first course of crab and smoked salmon. Throughout the meal they seemed to be bringing the courses/drinks from Waterloo! The wine waiter told us that our Hampshire sparkler came from the north of England and two members of staff did not know if the American bar was open at 3-00 pm ? Not up to the Savoy's service standard, I'm afraid.
We booked Kaspars for a special pre-theatre dinner and were extremely disappointed with the main course which was very small-a guinea fowl breast cut in half and shared between two of us! This was not good value at all given the high cost for two courses. To be fair, the actual quality of the food was excellent but was ruined by the meagre portion size. Service was very friendly and attentive and the venue is stunning so it was a real shame that the inadequate quantity of food let the restaurant down.We had to ask for extra bread to compensate as we were not prepared to pay extra for additional side dishes. The fact that this was a pre theatre menu should not have justified serving such ridiculously small main courses!
My husband and I had the most wonderful pre-theatre dinner at Kaspar's. The food was absolutely divine and the service and ambience outstanding. We shall certainly dine at Kaspar's again.
I’ve eaten here a few time but this was definitely the best, crab bisque, rack of lamb, scallops and fillet steak. Very tasty.
Food and service were everything you’d expect from an institute like the Savoy. First class for everything!! Couldn’t fault our meal - everything was brilliant.
Very glamorous setting over the top but in a festive way , I like it, excellent services, very high quality food, simply prepared and delicious. Very very good deserts and interesting wine list.
Outstanding lunch for two before matinee of 9-5 the Musical, superb quality. After sharing 6 oysters we had two intermediate portions, one crab and caviar, the other scallops with spelt. Unbelievably tasty. Expensive but worth every penny.
A very enjoyable lunch. We lunch regularly and it's always great
Really lovely restaurant - the staff make you feel valued and appreciated without being obtrusive. Food was amazing - the quail starter is to die for. My steak was cooked to perfection. It's a pricey restaurant but worth it for the excellent food and fantastic service - definitely a good place to go for a nice occasion.
Excellent service and food but pricey!
I had my family over from the US and was taking them to The Savoy theatre and so decided to have Pre-theatre Dinner at Kaspar’s and could not have made a better choice. The service was impeccable from my request on arrival for a possible window table, to that of our servers kind attention throughout our dinner; she could not have made it a more special occasion for us all. The food was truly divine, and yes it’s a little expensive but each dish was beautifully prepared and presented. We’re all huge seafood lovers and from the crab to the halibut to the Dover sole not one of us were disappointed.
Absolutely wonderful in every way!
Fabulous as usual, celebrated a birthday with friends in a beautiful restaurant. Food was delicious with great seafood, their lobster bisque was loved by all. Only slight disappointment was seafood assiette, some parts of it were tasteless, not what I expected especially at the premium price. Otherwise lovely staff , very friendly and tables spaced apart so it was quiet enough to hear each other talk! Yeah!
Well done Kaspar's, my fourth time there and I love going there for special occasions.
Quality food beautifully cooked and presented. Great service, timed perfectly. First rate. Recommended.
Outstanding, as only Kaspar’s can be ! Everything, from the service to the food, was perfect. A special thanks to our waiter, Anup, who has been the perfect host of a perfect moment.
One of the best places I've ever had the pleasure to enjoy. Great service. Great food. Atmosphere was second to none with great live music, lights, glass, class.
Lunch was much better than dinner last Saturday night The meal and service was excellent

This was a special occasion for us and the atmosphere, service and setting did not disappoint. The starters and mains were excellent and there was plenty of choice. The dessert menu was slightly disappointing and our choices were beautifully presented but we probably shouldn’t have chosen them. It is a delightful place to dine and we will return and recommend to others.

My friend and I were celebrating our 60th birthdays and had a fabulous 2 hour lunch. The service was just as good as the food and we were very kindly given a complimentary glass of wine each and additional sweet decorated with birthday wishes. I made a faux pas regarding the lemon wrapped in muslin and the waiter graciously explained why it was wrapped in such a way whilst probably thinking "we have another one here" LOL. Fabulous experience and one I hope to repeat asap.

I came here for breakfast.
It was great, and the thing that made it even better was the staff. From a guy who eats out a lot, I like to think I know what I'm talking about. My breakfast here was 110% on point.
Assistant manager (forgot his name) superb, and our waiter too. super elegant and very knowledgable.
Once again, well done.

We celebrated our 20th Anniversary at Kaspars and overall we were very satisfied with the experience. Experience is the keyword as the Ambiance was fantastic with an elegant dining room, excellent service and excellent music in the background provided by a Jazz Trio in the adjacent bar. The champagne we ordered was not good value in realistic terms. It was extremely expensive but it was expected as the cost of being in the atmosphere. Nothing however very special about the vintage that would justify the cost. For the starter we got the seafood sharing platter, Best of the Sea and while also expensive, it was adequate for serving two. For intermediate I got the Lobster Bisque and my wife got the Scallops. The bisque was elegantly presented being poured at the table and was not very expensive. I have had better bisque at other restaurants as it did not taste as rich as I would have expected. My wife liked the Scallops which came with a squid ink risotto (we think). For my main, I got the Duo of Veal. It was a small portion for the price but we were pretty full so not an issue. It was however pretty bland, especially the veal medallions. I did not taste much seasoning so it did not pop. The gnocchi was also bland. The morel mushrooms and chicory were better. For deserts we got the Orely's Chocolate and the Caramelized Apple Taste Tatin which were both excellent.
This experience was superlative as usual. Rosaria was exceptional. We much preferred dining at Kaspars to Kerridge’s at the Corinthia no comparison at all Very enjoyable and memorable thank you from Chris and Maria Gabriel
From start to finish everything about the experience was superb 👍👍👍👍👍
Good but for some reason not as good as previous ocassions. Ambience and seevice still good but quality of food lacking.
it was perfect for a pre-theatre dinner but it was expensive for what it was. Service was nice but slow. We waited 25 minutes for our table.
Food was delicious - amazing crab starter. Service impeccable . Would definitely recommend and return to dine again

Such a shame that our experience wasn’t a great one and it being my mum’s 80th birthday (although we didn’t mention that as she didn’t want any fuss) - you think of the Savoy and how special it would be!! Took an absolute age to get the wine on the table, had to ask twice for a jug of water. There were 4 of us, 3 had starters, lobster bisque and oysters were very good, my scallops weren’t great. Main courses of fillet beef, lovely, cooked as requested, lobster linguine (basically the lobster bisque starter) with pasta, far too rich and nothing special, line caught cod, minuscule and served with nothing, Halibut fried and greasy. Side orders of duck fat chips and carrots and coriander both ok. Just one dessert of vanilla ice cream, two scoops, again nothing special! Calypso coffee, normal white coffee £360. I’m not a tight person and am happy to pay for good food and service. We didn’t get that! Art Deco restaurant nicely done and the bar looked good, Hardly anyone in the restaurant. Tea looked nice in the room next to ours and the pianist was fanatic! Had better food and service at the Grumpy Mole. They say, smart casual, people roaming about in jeans and backpaks. Needs to be a lot more polished and special. Best thing is the toilets! Would I go there again, nope!!
Good job we had booked the theatre afterwards for the special 80th celebrations!!
