We had breakfast for two. Eggs a bit runny and the toast was very pale but both were rectified very quickly. The service was excellent and the restaurant is very beautiful. We will happily go again on a future trip to London.
Simply superb, wonderful staff fabulous ambiance and divine food one would die for, nothing was too much trouble for the biblical brilliant staff who went above and beyond to make us feel both welcomed and relaxed.
Great place, always happy with my visits, location excellent, food and service deserving of its rating.
Love the Savoy ,
Food was excellent!
Sadly our whole experience this time was let down by poor service !
I would say untrained staff!!
Very nice and elegant place to have dinner. Cost was reasonable and service was very professional. The staff was smiling all the time and ready to help. The ambience of the restaurant was nice and pleasant.
We loved the relaxed feel of Kaspar’s and would definitely would return to try more dishes. The veal and the cod were amazing and the smoked salmon was refreshing. We both loved the accompaniments and presentation. Service was well-timed and friendly, our waiters were attentive yet left us to enjoy our anniversary meal. The menu was explained to us and there was a sommelier on hand to recommend wine.
The atmosphere was casual and relaxed and, overall, we had a wonderful meal.
This was a most enjoyable lunch for 2 - one from the set menu and the other from the full choice menu. Staff throughout were excellent. I also enjoyed my cocktails at the American Bar. For enjoyable food and excellent service for a special occasion then this was perfect for me.
Me and my wife had a lovely meal here. Jakob our waiter was fantastic. Will be back next year for sure.
The food, drinks, service and the ambience were all just perfect. We had the best meal we’ve ever eaten in a restaurant and we will remember the experience always!
I can highly recommend the scallops, halibut and truffle mashed potato. Everything just melted in the mouth.
The hotel/restaurant itself is absolutely stunning and there was some lovely live music that we very much enjoyed listening to over dinner as well.
Thankyou to all who looked after us that evening!
Went for lunch, very good service, friendly staff. Quite a few for business lunch but did not affect us.
Sadly, no. I have been to Kaspars twice previously, for special occasions, and it was fantastic. Unfortunately, although the staff are faultless, the restaurant was almost empty/ zero atmosphere and the risotto we ordered was possibly the worst risotto we have EVER had- dry and tasteless. What a pity as I used to love Kaspars. I won’t be returning. It was my mother’s 85th birthday... what a shame.
Very attentive to details. Best service we’ve ever had. Will be back
Excellent as always. I hope to return again in the not too distant future.
The food is very tasty and well prepared although rather salty and sides are distinctly overpriced. for the size Service is friendly and excellent. They need to address the wine list which is massively overpriced and not offering cheaper alternatives
We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary it was outstanding cant fault anything staff amazing and food superb kaspars gave us a silver anniversary we will never forget!
Unfortunately we had a late booking after the show (22.30) & it felt like they couldn’t really be that bothered! It took an age for someone to explain the menu! We both had stake which was really good! The Band playing in the background were really good too!
The two of us had an early reservation for lunch at Kasper, sitting down around 12.10 and choosing to sit at the counter/bar on one of the bar tables with swivel high chairs which was a good choice, started with 6 irish oysters and the crab & lobster bisque, a nice cold glass each of the Louis Roederer 2012 brut vintage followed by the lobster linguini and Newlyn dover sole from the lava stone grill with truffle mash potato to the side, all were presented perfectly and served by very professional polite staff that made the lunch visit a pleasure, the food was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious, we would highly recommend a visit, thank you to the manager and staff for a very enjoyable afternoon.
I'm glad to have gone to the Savoy for breakfast. It was a good experience and the atmosphere is beautiful. The service is impeccable and that's what you pay for. As far as value, you don't go here for a cheap meal, you go for the experience and my husband and I enjoyed it.
This was a very special experience from being shown to our table to our departure. The English breakfast was a little pricey but tea, juice and croissants all included. My daughter's Crab Benedict was delicious and was excellent value for money. The food was superb and the service exemplary. They even brought a birthday treat for my daughter. Very impressed!
Perfect waiter. Jacob. Thankyou.
Excellent cuisine and service. Consistently great food. Beautiful art deco decor. Overall a great dining experience.
Awesome service and food.
Simply BRILLIANT! Food, service all excellent and has to be the most AMAZING Art Deco ambiance throughout the Savoy, entrance, cocktail bars, restaurants, in the whole of London.
After a very disappointing and overpriced meal at the Savoy Grill and extremely rude staff at the Savoy Hotel, this was the first time I had been back in 5 years. What a difference. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. This time I dined at Kaspars, food very good and service excellent.
Fabulous food, quite ambience, very friendly efficient service and a surprise treat for a birthday with their signature chocolate cookie. It was the perfect morning breakfast treat for us.
Kaspar's is a superb restaurant. Food and service are excellent. Atmosphere is beautiful. You can count on a great meal at this restaurant. One of London's best.
Best Dover Sole in London.
Top rate service from Janell , striking just the right balance between professionalism and informality, ensured that this was an experience to be repeated !
An excellent place to have a business breakfast - the food was excellent and service incredible as you would expect at the Savoy!
Great food, ambience and exemplary service. I've been to Kaspar's for breakfast, and the a-la-carte is even better!!!
I thought the food was overpriced and of poor to medium quality, I sent my first steak back because it was tough and over cooked. I sent my second steak back for much the same reason. They were two of the worst steaks I’ve ever had. Most of my guests thought the food was medium to ordinary. It was a celebration for my birthday and was the worst I can recall. The staff tried to rectify the situation but it was just too late. The drink waiter kept serving over the table with his arm across my face and when we were served our meal, no one came to enquire if it was all ok, we had to chase up the waiter to let her know we were unhappy with the quality of the food. I’ve been to London pubs and had better food and service.
Just fabulous - the perfect place for our anniversary celebration. Thank you.
My girlfriends birthday dinner
Very expensive and only average, great views from the widows to the water. I am only filling space
A very special dining experience - expensive but worth it!
Dinner for a special family occasion could not have been better. The food was excellent and had it been possible I would have given a 6 for service. Kaspars is the very smartly refurbished River Room with lovely views and apart from one large and loud party in an adjacent semi-private room the ambience was just right for us. The Savoy is a special place and Fairmont have preserved its excellence. Wine and cocktails in special places in London will never be good value but we thought the food for where we were was good value so overall no concerns.
About three times normal retail is not unusual for wine in London restaurants, but the fish courses we had, particularly the halibut was excellent.
And finally we were looked after by a waiter from Kerala in India, and a waitress from Guyana in South America, both of whom were a pleasure to meet!
Amazing food and knowledgeable staff
Everything was perfect, the service the food and the atmosphere.great staff, very helpful.will return definitely.
We had a fantastic dinner and experience. All staff was lovely and our somellier made our experience really special!
Couple of good staff, wine waiter was nowhere to be seen most of the meal. Thought service was really not as polished as one would expect from The Savoy. Enjoyed it nonetheless.
