Excellent meal from start to finish.
Dover Sole was excellent and filleted well.
Staff were all welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed
Top quality in every department, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff, very good food with an all round feeling of class.. Got something for every occasion.
We used the restaurant whilst staying at the hotel and celebrating a Birthday. The experience was very good with attentative staff and very well prepared food. On the basis of our experience we would certainly use the restaurant again.
It was my mums birthday and it was lovely for her to receive a card and happy birthday plate from the team at the Savoy. Food was lovely...apart from the gluten free muffin was horrid. Beautiful restaurant and lovely experience.
Nothing to complain about ......................,,,
I took my friend there for a birthday breakfast, we had a lovely table overlooking the river and the service was excellent. The food and ambience were great and the lovely staff brought a birthday gift over for my friend. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Savoy to anyone and can't wait to return.
Beautiful surroundings and wonderful service. The food was delicious and the view of the Thames an added bonus.
My girlfriend’s birthday. Lovely experience. Made special by all the staff, who were all very polite, friendly, helpful and attentive. Food and drink was excellent. We will definitely be back.
Creative well executed inventive food. Impeccable service.
Kaspar's at The Savoy has always been a special place and we have dined there on many occasions. This week we were celebrating my partners birthday, and I had booked Kaspar's as a surprise. From the moment of entering The Savoy to leaving a few hours later to enjoy a West End Show the service was without exception, exceptional. Excellent food, wines, service, ambience. Cannot recommend highly enough, and we will definitely be returning.
Fabulous restaurant, setting and food. The staff couldn’t do enough to please. Thanks!
Having dinned at Kaspers on many occasions , This visit can easily be summed up in one word - mediocre.
From dishwater bisque to rubber Sole the food was no more than edible.
With one waiters on a less than subtle mission to get you to that second bottle
There is a real falsity about the place these days and I would recommend it as a big miss.
The oysters had lots of broken shell and grit. Similarly, there we some hard lobster bits left in the linguini and the sauce was not very delicate, maybe a lobster reduction and creme could have helped. The desert, while small was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was impeccable, although slow, but I suspect the kitchen held it up despite there not being that many customers at 5:30pm. With two starters, 2 mains, one desert, two cocktails and one glass of wine for almost £300 ....despite its surroundings, not good value!
We went there to celebrate our anniversary, the food and staff were amazing as always. Added bonus of receiving a beautiful single red rose for Valentines Day, courtesy of the Savoy.
This is the place to go for a special meal. It was expensive but probably what you’d expect to pay at a top London restaurant. The service was very good throughout, there was a choice of menus and a good choice of wine by the glass. The food was beautifully presented and tasted good too.
Beautiful place, extremely clean. One of the best breakfasts we have ever had. Service is amazing, the staff couldn’t do enough. They even bought a little birthday cake out for my husbands special day.
We enjoyed our breakfast at the kaspar’s but I regret to not be able anymore to take it at the Thames foyer with his charming atmosphere. The kaspar’s is more like a restaurant.
It bills itself as a seafood restaurant but the offering just isn’t there - it’s more a restaurant with some seafood options. Where are the fresh from sea options? Where is variety reflective of what the sea offers? And the decor really doesn’t look anywhere near as Art Deco or cool as the photos show - more like a drab hotel restaurant. Really disappointing, a lost opportunity for an iconic hotel
superb food, great table service, beautiful surroundings
Staff were very attentive and accommodating. Made us feel very special
Lovely relaxed atmosphere. We all had the full English breakfast which was cooked to perfection, really delicious. The best thing about it was the fact The Savoy hadn't tried to do anything 'trendy' with it, it was simply excellent quality food cooked just the way it should be!
The staff were all outstanding and couldn't do enough for us. We didn't need to ask for anything they're timing was impeccable and they were always on hand to replenish tea, coffee and juice and ask if there was anything else that we needed. Good value for money too, I will definitely be recommending the breakfast to friends and family.
Great Ambiance, Food and service. We had drinks in the American Bar prior and Kaspers was the icing on the cake.
Always first class, whatever the circumstances
Good food, nice wine list, knowleadgable service, perfectsetting and atmosphere. Ideal for romantic occasion or business as well as family meal.
Had a gorgeous meal at Kaspars. Even though fish and chips wasn't in the menu any more they very kindly did our for me. I had ice cream afterwards which was lovely finished off with chocolates with coffee. It's not cheap dining here but it is the Savoy and you will enjoy dining here
Enjoyed our birthday & anniversary dinner very much with excellent food & service
Beautiful ambiance,great service,
Wonderful quiet atmosphere in a very elegant setting with views the river from certain tables. Service was very friendly without being over bearing. Food exceptional especially good value if choosing from the set menu.
Lovely dinner - expensive but you get what you pay for with a wonderful venue
Good, good food , very nice service
But champagne and wine by the glass excessively expensive even fir the standards of this kind of restaurant
Brilliant service and the food was exquisite, a real treat
Had birthday gift of lunch at Kaspar's and it was really lovely, food very tasty and they gave birthday treat which was such a lovely surprise...staff attentive but not intrusive...definitely recommend anyone to visit if the opportunity arises
We visited for my partner's 55th birthday as I ended to do something special. We had celebrated an earlier birthday in the Grill.
Our evening was exactly as I had hoped and we had a wonderful time.
Even better was the fact that I am currently on restricted diet and this was taken care of with no fuss whatsoever.
I would always recommend it.
Fabulous food, very friendly service, They have destroyed the once beautiful River Restaurant - 1 of London”s most beautiful places to dine - and nearly £300 for lunch for 2 without desserts and only 1 glass of champagne was poor value for money !
Delicious food served by charming and attentive staff. Thank you.
I have been to Kaspers a number of times previously and I fully intend to come again.
Absolutley top notch, I would go there every week if I could!
Guess we will have to wait for another special moment 😔
An interesting story about Kaspar the Cat to accompany this historic spot in London. Great food too!
Our family enjoyed a special pre-theatre lunch at Kaspar's including our two children. Staff were exceptionally warm and inviting, generous with their time and did a wonderful job looking after all of us, including engaging our daughters in conversation. Food was delicious, though slightly pricy for adults (2 scallops, juicy as they were, for £28 seems a bit high). An enjoyable experience overall.
Our visit was an evening dinner to discuss business issues - it was an excellent evening - our guest was very impressed. The service, ambience and the quality of the food were all exceptional. Our only minor issue was that the live music limited our ability on occasion to converse freely. Having said that, on previous purely social occasions, the music was a positive.
Lovely staff & amazing food! Perfect for a special occasion
