Had a lovely experience in Kaspars. Sat at the counter which was fun. We had the three course menu, each dish was delicious and the wine was very good. The waiting staff were friendly and attentive. All in all a really good evening. Would definitely eat there again.
Excellent meal. Took boyfriend for birthday treat as good choice of sea food. Not so much vegetarian choice for myself but enough, also vegetarian could be made vegan if needed
Actually upset I forgot to tip
Excellent food, welcoming and friendly staff. I and my friend enjoyed a lot and will dine again with more friends next time.
Absolutely fabulous! Fantastic food and amazing staff thank you all for a lovely afternoon.
Excellent breakfast for friends 50th.
All the staff were amazing and so lovely and attentive. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Delicious food, exceptional service with great attention to detail in beautiful surroundings. You get what you pay for!
Yesterday (13/10/2019) at the Savoy (Kaspar's) was by far the best my parents, partner and myself have ever experienced from being helped out of the taxi by the concierge (Porters) to the Breakfast experience in the restaurant. It was truly wonderful. Our waitress Rosalyn was first class and also the professionalism of other staff who were so friendly. I had booked this breakfast treat for my parents celebrating their 60th Wedding Anniversary. The whole journey from start to finish was magnificent and I can only thank you all for making my parents have such a wonderful morning. The cake presented to them when we finished breakfast wishing them Happy Anniversary just was another beautiful touch. Thank you the Savoy.
Very attentive stuff, however the food was not fantastic. Possibly due to the fact that the menu was “pre-theatre” the burratta salad was tiny, tomatoes not ripened. The wood pigeon was a bit tough to chew. Main courses were fine, though risotto too salty. Deserts- very nice panda cotta and the chocolate peanuts concoction was overly rich and difficult to finish. I don’t think we’ll return, not until the menus is changed.
We love Kaspar's and eat there every time we are in London.
Birthday celebrations was well executed. The whole experience was great from arriving at the Savoy.
The food was delicious, well presented. The presentation had a very artistic flair. The restaurant staff, especially Peter and Jennel went above and beyond.
We would definitely go there again.
Fabulous surroundings & decor. Not ideal for a pre theatre stop as felt rushed & would have liked to enjoy the decor & surroundings.
The setting was perfect, the service faultless and the food excellent. What more could you want?
The one time I come to London and couldn't wait to dine at The Savoy, there was a power outage and therefore our food was never delivered because all the kitchens were closed and no electricity throughout the hotel. Needless to say, I was so sad but I do understand life happens.
Our waitstaff was very attentive, engaged, and hilariously communicative. Will definitely come back in hopes of getting our same person as well as the excellent food.
I booked Kaspar’s for my wife’s birthday as a surprise present. We have stayed and dined at the Savoy before Kaspar’s was conceived, but I thought I would give it a try.
We thought the food was excellent but overpriced. My wife ordered scallops as a starter, two small scallops with dressing for £28 and I had the lobster and crab bisque in a large bowl , unfortunately it got cold before I could finish as the bowl was too big to contain the heat !
We both had the Halibut for main course which again was excellent.
Overall cost of £278 with two cocktails and a bottle of the cheaper NZ white.
Certainly not what I would call value for money.
Excellent. Attentive professional service, delicious food, gorgeous setting. There was live music the evening we were there which did make the noise levels slightly too high but that was our only complaint.
Nice venue, good service, some items are overpriced for the quality served.
Overall good experience.
We only met up for a meeting - great environment and very friendly staff.
Amazing food with so much choice. Even my vegan husband was pleased. We would definitely not hesitate in returning.
They have changed the menu & the pre-theatre menu. Not as good a selection & very expensive for what it is. The place only had 1 other table compared to previous visits so it would appear that others feel the same. Despite the cache of dining in The Savoy we will not return.
We had breakfast for two. Eggs a bit runny and the toast was very pale but both were rectified very quickly. The service was excellent and the restaurant is very beautiful. We will happily go again on a future trip to London.
Simply superb, wonderful staff fabulous ambiance and divine food one would die for, nothing was too much trouble for the biblical brilliant staff who went above and beyond to make us feel both welcomed and relaxed.
Great place, always happy with my visits, location excellent, food and service deserving of its rating.
Love the Savoy ,
Food was excellent!
Sadly our whole experience this time was let down by poor service !
I would say untrained staff!!
Very nice and elegant place to have dinner. Cost was reasonable and service was very professional. The staff was smiling all the time and ready to help. The ambience of the restaurant was nice and pleasant.
We loved the relaxed feel of Kaspar’s and would definitely would return to try more dishes. The veal and the cod were amazing and the smoked salmon was refreshing. We both loved the accompaniments and presentation. Service was well-timed and friendly, our waiters were attentive yet left us to enjoy our anniversary meal. The menu was explained to us and there was a sommelier on hand to recommend wine.
The atmosphere was casual and relaxed and, overall, we had a wonderful meal.
This was a most enjoyable lunch for 2 - one from the set menu and the other from the full choice menu. Staff throughout were excellent. I also enjoyed my cocktails at the American Bar. For enjoyable food and excellent service for a special occasion then this was perfect for me.
Me and my wife had a lovely meal here. Jakob our waiter was fantastic. Will be back next year for sure.
The food, drinks, service and the ambience were all just perfect. We had the best meal we’ve ever eaten in a restaurant and we will remember the experience always!
I can highly recommend the scallops, halibut and truffle mashed potato. Everything just melted in the mouth.
The hotel/restaurant itself is absolutely stunning and there was some lovely live music that we very much enjoyed listening to over dinner as well.
Thankyou to all who looked after us that evening!
Went for lunch, very good service, friendly staff. Quite a few for business lunch but did not affect us.
Sadly, no. I have been to Kaspars twice previously, for special occasions, and it was fantastic. Unfortunately, although the staff are faultless, the restaurant was almost empty/ zero atmosphere and the risotto we ordered was possibly the worst risotto we have EVER had- dry and tasteless. What a pity as I used to love Kaspars. I won’t be returning. It was my mother’s 85th birthday... what a shame.
Very attentive to details. Best service we’ve ever had. Will be back
Excellent as always. I hope to return again in the not too distant future.
The food is very tasty and well prepared although rather salty and sides are distinctly overpriced. for the size Service is friendly and excellent. They need to address the wine list which is massively overpriced and not offering cheaper alternatives
We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary it was outstanding cant fault anything staff amazing and food superb kaspars gave us a silver anniversary we will never forget!
Unfortunately we had a late booking after the show (22.30) & it felt like they couldn’t really be that bothered! It took an age for someone to explain the menu! We both had stake which was really good! The Band playing in the background were really good too!
The two of us had an early reservation for lunch at Kasper, sitting down around 12.10 and choosing to sit at the counter/bar on one of the bar tables with swivel high chairs which was a good choice, started with 6 irish oysters and the crab & lobster bisque, a nice cold glass each of the Louis Roederer 2012 brut vintage followed by the lobster linguini and Newlyn dover sole from the lava stone grill with truffle mash potato to the side, all were presented perfectly and served by very professional polite staff that made the lunch visit a pleasure, the food was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious, we would highly recommend a visit, thank you to the manager and staff for a very enjoyable afternoon.
I'm glad to have gone to the Savoy for breakfast. It was a good experience and the atmosphere is beautiful. The service is impeccable and that's what you pay for. As far as value, you don't go here for a cheap meal, you go for the experience and my husband and I enjoyed it.
