Love Kazu and the food is good. But they could have done with another member of staff on Friday night as people were waving to get the staff's attention. They were very pleasant but we did have to wait nearly an hour and a quarter to get one of our dishes... and had to ask for it. But it was worth it.
Had an early dinner for my mothers birthday. Exactly what we were looking for; calm ambiance, sufficiently attentive service and most importantly good food.
Amazing experience, fantastic chef, delicious food. Must go and will go again.
Excellent food, service has potential but overall great experience
Love this place. Sushi is sublime. Service is diligent and friendly. Super.
Lovely restaurant, not too busy, great food. perfect for a business meeting
The food was good but the portion is too small for the price.
Took a friend for a lunch deal, though got carried away with ordering lots of extras, the lunch deal is a bargain. Great tasting salmon teriyaki served with rice, miso and salad all for £16 app. Though the dish to rave about was the Charlotte Roll, tuna, salmon and yellow tail with tabiko and a yuzu sauce. Absolutely delicious, the vibes were on point very chilled but with a great buzz. Great service as well! I will def be back!
One of favourite places to eat; my very favourite place to eat Japanese food. Lovely owner, great service and sublime food.
Food was very good quality, probably a bit more expensive than some places but still a very good quality. Will go back
Very much enjoyed the food but the service was a little slow as I think they were short staffed during a busy service. The food was very tasty. Would go back for sure.
Nice place, I don’t understand the lemon drizzle in the signature rolls but I guess it’s matter of taste. Besides, the other inside out rolls were nice. A bit overpriced, maybe.
very nice and open on sunday, a little expensive but good.
One of the best sushi places around!!
Went on a quiet Sunday afternoon and was very pleasantly surprised. Knowledgable waiter, very good sushi and good value. I will definitely be back when I’m in the neighbourhood.
Fantastic food, friendly staff, quick service at lunchtime.
The food is truly excellent. On a par with 'Dinings', but with a much better name. Can't really fault it. If you love Japanese food, this is the real deal. Not cheap, but with this kind of quality, it wouldn't be.
a very special place that will now become a regular destination for us in London
Great dining experience. Service was lovely. Food was delicious. Will definitely return.
Amazing food. I kept having fomo over the entire menu and definitely need to go back to try more dishes! Strongly recommended!
Amazing dinner! Cool spot for a date, we will definitely go back soon!
Overall, food was very good. The shrimp and spinach salad was really good and unseen. We loved the sashimis. A bit less fans of the rolls even if they were good (lack of flavor and eel cut a bit too thick)
Sake with yuzu excellent. Wish they still had Sauvignon Blanc from New Zeland by the glass. (the Pinot Grigo is forgettable)
Very special and intimate Japanese dining experience - fantastic service and delicious cuisine. Highly recommend for a special occasion.
The food and service was good, but it's expensive. I think the menu is overpriced especially the Sake. We ordered a Sake charged £55 there which is a cheap Sake costs less than £10 in Japan and supermarket.
Very good food and sake , excellent, helpful and charming service in a very attractive room.
Food was good, especially the sushi which was excellent. I would not recommend this restaurant though due to the complete lack of atmosphere. Visited on a sunday evening and the place was empty. We had to ask them to put on some music so that it felt less awkward. Food was served promptly and immaculately and service was very polite. Restaurant has potential but they really need to work on their ambience.
Service and the ambience is great!! However the salad included in the lunch set was too salty. Other than that everything’s perfect.
The food at Kazu is excellent and authentic. The service was fine however when we asked if we could have the bottle of tap water on our table so that we could pour it ourselves, we were told 'no'. This was quite frustrating as we had to constantly bug the waitress for more water and occasionally she forgot when we asked her whilst she was serving other customers. I am not sure why we were not allowed to have the water on the table. Aside from this, everything else was perfect. The food here is incredible and possibly one of the best Japanese sushi restaurants in London.
Kazu is always excellent and deserves to be much better known!
I booked Kazu for last minutes on same day .Food was ok but bit expensive for what was it.
Fantastic food and service. Amazing sushi chef.
Kodi and his team delivers a personalised high quality experience, from food to service.
Excellent food and service
Attentive staff and delicious food. We sat over looking the sushi making! Service was fast and all staff were friendly and helpful. A definite recommend
By no means the best sushi or service that I’ve had in London, but all in all it’s solid.
It was good
I have been to Tokyo several times, and this is as close as it gets in London! This is the real deal! Everything we tried was next level. I would definitely love to come back!
Kazu is excellent - traditional and more modern Japanese classics in elegant surroundings.
We sat at the bar and witness Sensei work his magic, all our starts of spinach gomae , spicy wakame went down beautifully, the batter in the tempura moriwase was light crunchy pillows of love clinging to fresh prawns , salmon, aubergines etc. Our mains of chirashi was a generous portion of separate glistening rice with a perfect bite each topped with toro, tako, shake, ikura, hamachi, amaebi - super fresh and tasty (my dining partner forsook the shoyu on the basi that the fish was tasty enuff) - suffice to say we polished every bit and rice grain. The bar chair were surprising confy and we sat there for about two hours - we could have easily done three. Highly recommended.
The food was good and the staff were friendly. The restaurant was a bit on the cold side though but that didn't affect the quality of the food.
