My wife and I visited Keller Chophouse for our anniversary. We had an amazing time. Our server, Bri, was very pleasant, attentive, and very knowledgeable on wine and the menu. I had the porterhouse and my wife had the seabass imperial. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. We ended our evening with a nice sauterne and creme brulee at the bar. Jesse was the bartender and he was really fun to talk to. Jesse is a very talented bartender who makes the best old-fashioned. The only thing that would make the old-fashioned even better is if it were smoked. Hoping they take my advice and get a cocktail smoker. My final compliment is to the management. Both Chrystal & Shana came to our table. We could tell they have a passion for their place and it showed with all the help they provided to their staff. Give Keller Chophouse a try. If you are looking for a family-owned place with excellent food and amazing staff, visit Keller Chophouse. This little gem is exactly what Keller needed.
Worst steak I’ve ever had. Waiter never said a word. Sent back raw steak and came back and still raw.
Thank you for your review. It's a huge problem if you feel that you had the worse steak ever at Keller Chophouse. We take pride in our dry aged and fresh cut steaks. We get our steaks from Allen Brothers out of Chicago. As far as raw depending on your temp, our rare to mid rare will have a some raw pink. Please give us another try. Ask from Shana or Chrystal, the managers. We would like to make things right and give you a good experience.
The Keller Chophouse is improving each time we go. The menu is still a work in progress it seems from the old place. The service we got this time was great which is a huge improvement from the past time we visit when it was new. I'll go back and give it another shot.
Thank you for your review, Very pleased that you received good service. Regarding the menu... We are a completely different restaurant and owner, and we have no connection with Texas Bleu. Our menu will stay as it is because our Keller location is a second location. Our first location is in Downtown Fort Worth and we have been in Fort Worth for 20 years. We do have weekly specials that you will not find on our menu. Thank you for dining with us and we hope to see you again.
Celebrating a good year for my husband and his firm
My wife and I each ordered medium filets($38/$42 apiece). Sides and salads were $12-13 apiece. Hers came out medium well, so it was sent back. The manager brought it back over and just left instead of asking her to cut into it to make sure it was done correctly. She cut in to it and it was rare. I waited for the waiter to check on a few tables and had to flag him down and told him it was rare and that the manager just dropped it off and left. She came back over and said she didn’t mean to just drop it off and leave, that she was getting our waiter to check back in on it. No, he wasn’t even looking to check in on us, I had to flag him down. So third time he brings it back out, still rare. He said the chef must be off his game tonight. I said it’s Saturday night and you’re charging $40 a steak(not including any sides), that’s unacceptable. Her steak was eventually comped. As we were paying and about to leave, I went to the bathroom. They are small, one urinal, one stall. I went to the urinal, and a smaller guy went to the stall. When I was done I went and washed my hands. When he was done, he just walked out without washing his. I open the door, and their kitchen is right next to the bathrooms. I see this guy walking into the kitchen. I tell our waiter that someone in the kitchen just went to the bathroom and didn’t wash his hands. He said “he’s probably just a dishwasher.” Ummm I’m sorry?? That’s irrelevant, he just had his hands on his privates, touched the toilet seat, flusher, stall door, bathroom door, kitchen door and is now touching clean plates? Have you guys been aware of the past year?? There is NO WAY we’d ever come back to this place, even if the prices were 50% cheaper than they are. Awful experience, especially for the prices. From the food, to the management, to the cleanliness, no way a CHOPHOUSE, should ever let this happen.
Thank you for voicing your concerns. I apologize for the issue with the steaks. We did do our best to correct the issue and we also removed the steak off of your bill to make things right. In regards to the manager who dropped off your steak, I apologized and explained that the server was instructed to check on your table right after I had served your steak. The employee who left the bathroom without washing his hands is a dishwasher. We have two hand washing sinks which he uses.
This place is NOT the same restaurant it was before ( when it was Texas Bleu). 1000% turn around here. The chef has some excellent choices on the menu and everything was cooked excellent. The scallops were ruined by the addition of some kind of cream sauce that was not on the menu. Thats my ONLY complaint about the food. Why ruin a beautifully seared sea scallop by covering it in goop!? The bone in filet is exquisite, best one i have had in years. The value was good, wine selection wasn't very diverse and cabernet pricing (about 100% over retail in some cases) i felt was a little on the high side, so we had a Merlot that was only marked up 70% over retail, which is pretty standard. All in all, excellent choice. We will certainly be back!!

well we visited for our 27 year anniversary.but it was never acknowledged even no i put it in special request.they sat us next to a big table that was a birthday party.I will say the drinks were good. BUT WE ORDERED FILET 8OZ BOTH MEDIUM MY WIFES CAME OUT GOOD SIZE COOKED RIGHT MINE WAS SMALL LIKE A BALL OF MEAT AND COOKED UNEVEN SOME MEDIUM MOST WELL DONE I ORDERED IT WITH OSCAR WHICH IT DID HAVE MAYBE A TEASPOON WORTH AND WE HAD TO ASK ABOUT THE BRUSSEL SPROUTES THAT WE ORDERED WHEN THEY CAME THEY WERE OVER COOKED I FOUND 2 GREEN ONES OUT OF THE BOWL.JUST NOT A GOOD EXPIERENCE MAYBE WE CAME ON A BAD NIGHT

Great from beginning to end. Excellent food, service was super and a ver nice atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back. Glad we made reservations as every table was full.
The staff was exceptional and very helpful. All of the food was very good, except our steaks. My wife ordered her steak well done (eye roll) and what she got was medium at best. I asked them to finish hers off a little, when it came back it was still bloody. My steak was the medium rare that I ordered, but neither of our steaks had any flavor- almost like they forgot to season them at all. They comped our steaks which was nice, but I'd have preferred a great steak! I'd still give this place four stars because all the other food was fantastic as well as was the service, and I get everyone has an off night. We'll definitely try them again and would recommend others to check out!

Really enjoyed the pepper crust NY Strip, the Spinach Strawberry Salad was amazing and the seafood tower was great! Love the location, ambiance. Definitely an adult place to eat which is nice. Staff was attentive.

My wife and I had a Valentines day dinner at the Keller Chophouse. The food was very good but even further enhance by the service from Bri , which was exceptional. Of special note were the soup d'jour (pecorino), and the strawberry spinach salad. The steaks were cooked properly to our request and the oscar topping is a recommended addition. There were a nice variety of wines to choose from, without the selection being overly extensive or excessively pricey. The atmosphere is a pleasant adult break from noisy "cantina" or family oriented dining, without being pretentious and can easily bridge the space from a simple dinner to a special occasion. It was our first time and we will return.

Due to travel, we haven't been to the Chophouse since late October, 2020. Returned Saturday with a party of 4 and could not be happier with EVERYTHING! Started with the Seafood Tower appetizer, first time ordering. Unlike a tower you would receive at Bob's or Mastro's, this is a round mold layered with a variety of ingredients (see menu). I really am not much of a sea food fan, with a few exceptions, but this was an excellent appetizer that is rich and delicious. Absolutely enough to share between 2-3 folks (as an appetizer), I would order it again without reservation. Salads were perfect size, fresh and cold. The entrees were 1. Bone-in Ribeye. I split the steak with a guest, plenty of meat. It was seasoned and cooked PERFECTLY. We asked the Chef to remove the bone and slice to share, spot on. 2. Filet. Absolutely perfectly cooked and seasoned. The quality of meat was one of the best I've ever had, the flavor was excellent. 3. Pork Chops. 2 generous portions, one went home. Now I would say the chops were "very good" but not as good as the steaks. I'd say that they were just a tad dry, but not "send back dry." I don't know if the Chef grills them first then finishes in the oven, or the other way around, but if that is the prep, I would guess it was a little too much oven time. But good flavor, good quality.
The desserts were Chocolate Lava Cake (share for two) which is very rich and if you have a chocolate sweet tooth, this will satisfy it. And the Apple Tart (both with ice cream), absolutely excellent and you can tell made in-house. So as far as the food and drink, superb.
The service provided by Miss Ashley and Bartender Jesse was as good as any where we go. To Chef Javier and his lovely wife, the Sous Chef, THANK YOU for an excellent meal, you have never disappointed us.
The Chophouse is not a Perry's or Bob's. This is an EXCELLENT "local" fine dining steakhouse in Old Town Keller. The food is Outstanding and that is what counts.
I had previously given a poor review because the hostess didn’t have a mask on and gave me grief when I asked to move to a table six feet from others. The restaurant reached out to me and asked me to return and promised they had corrected those issues. I decided I’d check it out and I’m thrilled that the staff were wearing masks! The food and service were amazing!

Tried it out for restaurant week. Did not have a restaurant week menu and server was remotely aware of what was on it. Nice and quiet, but definitely not fine dining. Wait staff need training on how to serve a table.
We are so sorry you did not have a good experience with us. We decided to do restaurant week because we wanted to give back to the community and it also gives our guests a chance to try our delicious food at a discounted price. We do not offer this limited menu to everyone unless they are aware of discounted offer. I hope you give us another chance. I am very sorry your server did not do best to their ability. Next time you come in I can assure you we will make it right for you.
Went here with my in-laws for my wife’s birthday on Saturday night and had the worst experience. First thing our food took almost 40 minutes to come to the table. After waiting nearly 40 minutes for the food to come our ahi tuna dinner was cold in the middle, almost like they cooked it from frozen or didn’t throughly thaw it. It never cooked to the middle as it was very hard to cut even with the steak knives provided. We asked the waiter if they could just warm it up a little. However, it took them another 20 mins to char our tuna to the point it was well done and everybody else was done eating. The manager never stopped by our table not even once, even though she was seen seen pacing back and forth and even making eye contact several times. Not sure what kind of management doesn’t even say sorry for the “wait on your food” or “ how is everything” when you know there were multiple mistakes at the table. What is a manager for if they aren’t managing the situation? Not that we wanted anything comped or for free but just some sort of sincereness would have gone along way here especially after paying nearly $300 for 4 meals to be eaten two at a time.

Your waiter should have informed you that when you order Tuna medium-rare it's going to be a cool center, as for you having to wait 40 minutes that is normal in restaurants that you plan to spend $300+ for dinner, we never want to rush our guests. I hope you give us another chance, and I can assure you that next time you are in we will make sure you have an amazing dining experience.
This was our first visit to Keller Chop House. We went for restaurant week and truly enjoyed the experience. The service and food were great.

Service was a big issue- server forgot appetizer & really didn’t check on us at all- the host, did more for us, offered us bread and picked up plates since we were at a very small table! The food was good, but if I am paying their prices, I am going more towards Grace, Perry’s etc! The service ruined it

The restaurant needs help. Food was bland. Seafood tower, soup, salad, and beef tip ribs. Server is in desperate need of training. Not impressed. He was slow and inattentive. Ate there on New Year’s Eve. Restaurant is the bottom feeder of fine dining. Please don’t be offended. The truth must be revealed. Will never return.

New years eve wasn't an easy shift for us as it is the first at this location Jose, we do buy quality and the best there is in the market, Allen brothers steaks are considered the best any restaurant can serve. It was our anniversary and the evening was perfect. The staff and food was exceptional.
I was very disappointed when the hostess was not wearing a mask and tried to seat me at a table that was not six feet from other unmasked diners. She did allow me to sit at another table when I asked but did so begrudgingly and gave a haughty snort when I asked to be seated at least six feet from others. Just seems irresponsible during this pandemic.

I had the prime rib special. It came with fresh green beans and mashed potatoes. Prime rib was cooked to order and very tender. Great service and quiet atmosphere so could talk during dinner
