Kennedy's Whitecross Street
We had a great meal with family and we couldn't fault anything with our experience, it is a great restaurant with excellent happy staff.
Best fish and chips I’ve tasted for a very long while - lovely big portions and great menus to choose from - fab service
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and the food was really nice, traditional British fish and chips. The only problem was that there was too much of it and we couldn't finish it.
Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
The service was a bit slow. The food was quite ordinary.
I’m a big fan and regular now!
Simple and good fish dishes with warm and welcoming service. Definitely going back soon!
Eight of our family ate at Kennedy's Whitecross Street today as part of my husband's birthday surprise.Wow ,what a great place. The food was delicious and plentiful and when Peter found out it was my husband's birthday he produced a pudding with candle for him and all sang happy birthday .My husband was very surprised and it finished off the meal so well.Such a lovely thing to do.We thought the restaurant was very good value and the food of a high standard. When we are next in that part of London we will return , and will recommend Kennedy's to our friends.A special thanks to Peter and his lovely lady co-worker who looked after us so well.
Quirky fun traditional chippy that serves great homemade pies and sweets. Had pre Theatre meal it's was fantastic
would highly recommend it.
Visited Kennedy's on a friday night. I had cod and chips with mushy peas which was very good. My mum had the grilled skate wing, which was very bland as the sauce is only poured over rather than it being cooked in it.
The restuarnat wasn't overally busy but quite hard to catach the waitress' eye. It is quite loud in there, especially with large groups of men.
I went for lunch and sat upstairs. The staff were friendly, quick and efficient. The table was clean and good with a view onto the busy Whitecross St.
I ate cod, chips and mushy peas, which was very tasty, filling and great value.
Something for everyone here. A varied menu and good quality food at a good price. The restaurant interior is a bit basic but that adds to this being a bit different. All in all an enjoyable evening.
Proper fish upstairs was quietest on our visit so we opted for that, but either would be fine. Very welcoming staff. A thoroughly enjoyable first visit, will be returning.
Every town and village in the uk has a decent fish and chip shop yet it’s so hard to find traditional, non fancy, fish and chips in central London. This place is perfect when you fancy a fish lunch. I love it.
Great place to have supper pre/post theatre (Barbican in this case) - or an informal family meal - super friendly staff and tasty fish and chips - really good value set menu. Recommend.
We enjoyed our early dinner at Kennedy’s They have a good selection of fish and meat dishes. I would like to go back there another time and would recommend the restaurant others.
Delicious fish & chips, fabulous service! My friends and I had an amazing time.
All staff were very kind and friendly. We were satisfied with the service and food as well.
Fantastic fish and chips and speedy service meant that we could have a great working lunch. Reservation via OpenTable meant that we also had the option of an outside table. Great food and amazing value.
Great find : lovely crew and even better food.
Tempted by a la carte BUT the standard menu was perfect.
