Food was as expected - so excellent and some of the best roast potatoes in town! (We went for Sunday roast) But the service was really poor - they seemed short staffed as it took a while after being seated to get menus and we ended up having to pour our own wine Disappointing considering we were excited to go to another TK establishment

Everything about our visit was OUTSTANDING. The food - delicious. The service - first class. The knowledge of the staff on all things Kerridge showed a genuine love for the man, family and ethos. Beautiful art surrounded us and we left for our visit to the theatre with a skip in our step. Thank you!

The location and ambience was excellent however the portion sizes were very small and the prices extremely high. We went for a Sunday roast and there was 1 slice of beef ! Glad I have been but wouldn’t go again or recommend it

I really like this restaurant.. it’s got a terrific vibe decoratively, the staff are excellent and generally the food is of a high standard BUT.. this time it was patchy, the amuse-bouche was a great idea but the taste was odd (this was the large toasted crouton with garlic oil and grated cheese), the Waldorf salad didn’t taste at all like it should. The main I had was basically fish and chips which was fantastic, I went for the whiting option rather than the £53 dover sole (why would you batter a fish this delicate and pricey?), instead of the 3 sauces to accompany the dish, just give me pickled onions, gherkins and just the mushy peas, never mess with a classic. My lunch partner had the “tranche of plaice” (it was more bones than fish but what there was of the fish it was delicious). The desserts were great, and special mention to our service staff at n particular Alice.

This is one of my “go to” restaurants, the palatial room is imaginatively decorated, the food is of very good quality and service is always good. I was a bit disappointed with my steak, it was too tough and looked a bit greasy, the fat running across the meat was off-putting. The prawn scotch egg was sensational and the Lemon tart was fantastic. As always with this restaurant the service was attentive, friendly and efficient.

Lovely choice, the vibe of an old gentleman's club with leather seating and dark decor. Quite quiet to start with around 1pm but became much busier and noisier. We used it for a client/journalist lunch and both were very impressed. The client paid so not sure on the final bill but this is an expensive place. The Corinthia Hotel also looks like a great venue, a bit of a hidden gem. The food portions are on the small side, but filling and more than adequate. I had a smoked salmon starter, which was lovely, but my fish main course was little on the salty side, but that was my only complaint, otherwise excellent. I would go again.

We booked this for our wedding anniversary and we’re not disappointed. It was a Sunday lunch time and was fairly quiet. The food was delicious and although more expensive than other restaurants we knew that before we booked. Would recommend for a special occasion. Service was excellent and by chance Tom Kerridge was at the table opposite us with his family. A really memorable day.

So the service started out very shaky — seemed like our waiter was running around and we were waiting a long long time to get our drinks and order our food… but then they pivoted and different people jumped in to help and we had a fantastic meal. Food was absolutely superb and came quickly. They became very attentive and we will definitely go back!

Excellent lunch for a birthday celebration. The starters were very tasty the scotch egg and the scallop, followed by the rib eye beef for two with triple fried chips which were to die for. Dessert was tarte tatin with delicious custard and bread and butter panna cotta. The staff were very attentive and made great recommendations for the wine pairings.

To my mind this is one of my top 5 restaurants. I’ve been here several times and every dish is prepared and served beautifully.. I had the pate, brill and chocolate and whiskey parfait.. all executed brilliantly, only one small point, the light batter around the brill should be thicker and crunchier. Our waitress was efficient and knowledgeable (as are all the service staff).. The ambience is as usual stunning..

An amazing experience of customer service and fine dining from start to finish. The fixed lunch menu was perfect and lots of lovely nice additions. A warning - water is expensive (£10) and a 15% service charge is added so the bill was £30 more than we expected. However, the service was excellent. We were made to feel very special and we went rushed.

Had wanted to visit for sometime. Enjoyed the set menu, although there was only 1 starter, 1 main and 1 dessert option. The venison main course was cooked to perfection and was the highlight of the meal. Service was attentive without being intrusive. We dined early on a Monday evening and while the restaurant was probably half full, there was a good atmosphere. Really enjoyed pre dinner drinks at the bar and the Rebellion beers were great. Will visit again, although this is probably a special occasion restaurant rather than a regular everyday one.

Enjoyed an early evening meal with a work colleague earlier this week and picked this venue due to proximity to where she was staying. The interior ambience was impressive, staff very friendly and food creative but it just didn't light my fire as a place I'd be rushing back to! So for that reason I've given it an overall score of 'fair'.

Really enjoyed the experience. Lovely food, great staff. Service a little slow in the bar. I was meeting my son and it was a perfect choice. Maybe too noisy for some? Food looked small but was in fact too much for me. Great place, would go again.

I received your offer on Friday I thought it was worth giving it a go when we-arrived at the restaurant I was challenged about the content of your offer it’s my girlfriends birthday and I found it all very embarrassing I wish I hadn’t bothered and would have to give it serious thought in the future before booking again
