Kikuchi Japanese Restaurant
Please note we have a minimum order £40 per person for food.
We look forward to serving you soon!
Great food especially the cold udon
Came from Seattle and thoroughly enjoyed our last meal in London at Kikuchi. Excellent presentation and taste.
Excellent sushi and friendly service. Will definitely go back.
Very authentic food and nice staff. Menu offers a good choice of food.
One of the best Japanese restaurant in London. But not really a place for big days. Would be better for everyday dining or friends gathering
Service by staff was excellent! Quality of fish was great!
Best sushi in London
Second time i have eaten here in the past month as a felt i needed to take my wife here (after being with my friends).
I had the Premium Omakase and whilst pricey, was definitely worth the value.
The food was delicious and is different from the standard sushi offering in my opinion, so was definitely an experience that is worth trying once.
Staff were polite, with a nice traditional vibe. It's not a loud place so you are able to chat.
We sat by the counter so we could observe the sushi masters at the work.
Definitely a place i would recommend to friends.
Great quality sushi! I wish I could have them everyday!
Incredible sushi, very authentic.
Definitely one of the top Japanese restaurants in London. Very authentic, fresh and tasty. I was surprised how good it is and will revisit very soon!
Sushi was not good enough for the price point
Urchin rice bowl and the special cut sashimi. Furry tuna with light grill is a must order. Very delicious.
As always, the food was of the highest standard, the sake amazing, and the staff very attentive
Everything you would expect from a restaurant of this calibre
P.S. You really must try the Wagyu beef!
Very good authentic Japanese restaurant. All of us enjoyed every single dishes. Taste like home in Japan.
The sushi and sashimi are simply subert. Point. No need for any other words. Absolutely amazing. It is not cheap but the quality in my view justifies the price. Simple decor, good service. I just hope not too many people go there so I can make sure I always find a table
Quite simply the best Japanese food you’ll find in London. Super fresh fish as you can see in the cabinet, great selection of sake and ice cold Asahi.
A wonderful experience and a real treat. Fantastic sushi and sashimi, all beautifully presented and a delectable choice of sakes.
I drove a long way to get to the restaurant, it wasn't worth the trip. It is an OK restaurant for the local community.
This place is amazing. Not cheap but worth it!
The omakase menu was generally very good. There were a lot of "starter" dishes, all of which were excellent. The nigiris were expertly crafted, all at precisely the right temperature. However, I think the ratio of rice was on the low side and the seasoning was just on the low side. I also noticed that the unagi was microwaved, and the tamagoyaki at the end was served scolding hot. Despite these inconsistencies, it was a very satisfying meal.
Best sushi in London, better than Nobu, etc. Authentic experience. The sushi melts in your mouth. Some of the best customer service in London as well.
Superb Japanese food as fresh as I've had before. Decor is simple and the food is pricey but well worth the money for the quality. Significantly better than its Japanese counterparts like Nobu and Roka in London. Small wine which could be improved but impressive sake list.
The night we dined it was very hot in the restaurant though.
Very authentic Japanese restaurant. The money you pay goes into the food not the decor. Probably one of the best Japanese restaurants in London. The master Chef is a sake sommelier and the flight of sake deal should not be missed.
Fantastic A to Z
Brilliant as always!
The food was really good. The service was also lovely. However, it is quite expensive to dine at Kikuchi.
Had Omakase menu for 2 for a special occasion - Not cheap, but worth the price given the freshness and authenticity of food.
On a business trip to London, I was looking for a restaurant rated 4 stars and more on Google Maps. I opted to treat me for dinner in Kikuchi. I was not disappointed. The price may seem high, but the quality is at its best. Everything was delicate and delicious. Even, the wasabi for example, was super good. The tuna melted in my mouth. The grilled fish was perfectly cooked. The fishmonk sashimi was spectacular. The macha and sesame icecream to crown the experience were delicious. So I do not regret one bit the 100£ choice that I made.
In my opinion, this is by far the best sushi in London
This was the third time for me to visit this restaurant.
The foods were nice as usual. What they serve are really authentic Japanese foods (I'm Japanese). I was back in Japan for Xmas for two weeks last month, and soon after that I visited Kikuchi. Still, I thourgh their foods are even better than most of the places I visited in Japan for two weeks.
The sushi was great — well worth the money. If you like Japanese food and happen to be in London, go and check this out.
I ordered the Omakase course which was a phenomenal experience. I felt the creativity on the plate and the care taken to present the delicious chefs choice sushi. The service was warm, attentive and helpful, and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a special evening.
Traditional Japanese food done extremely well. Very good service as you would expect with quite simply amazing ingredients and dishes. We tried the sashimi, several sushi rolls, the spinach and aubergine (must have) and the mixed tempura. This is not a flashy Roka/Nobu style restaurant but the food is on a level or better, its very Japanese and if you value that then I would highly recommend going along for dinner.
Without doubt the food is outstanding and could not be faulted. However, although all Japanese Restaurants are expensive, I felt that this one was ridiculously over priced. When you factor in the bright lighting, basic decoration and small layout, I feel that there are better alternatives in London. For me, eating Japanese Food is a special occasion so therefore when you consider the cost, I felt that it didn't feel special enough.
Excellent sushi and excellent service. Will be back.
All foods are awesome. Not easy to find the same level of restaurant in Japan.
Good for business dinner with small number of people.
I rarely eat Japanese food outside of Japan, but wanted some so thought I would try. My expectations were met and exceeded. Save the cost of the flight and just go here for dinner.
authentic Japanese restaurant.
Omakase menu came with sashimi platter, cooked food, 12 pieces of sushi and dessert.
Probably as authentic as you could possibly get without going to Tokyo.
