Kilmurry & Co
The restaurant serves up a delectable array of brunch options – all made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. From Pancakes to homemade sandwiches and signature eggs dishes , you are sure to find something to tickle the taste buds at this stylish restaurant.
Oh and did we mention that it is dog friendly?
(£2 supplement) 4oz rump steak, green and black peppercorns, red wine
Halloumi Fries with Tomato Marmalade
Sweet Potato Fries
Vibe was great, food and coffee was excellent and the staff were 10/10.
Will definitely be back
Service really lets this restaurant down. Chaotic at times and not very attentive. Some of the staff members a bit dismissive, not particularly friendly. Last time we came to this place we actually walked out as we were ignored for 20 minutes.
More concerning, we saw one of the chefs “grab” bacon from a plate under the hot lights to shove avocado underneath. No gloves, no tongs. Not the best considering the kitchen area is in full view. As a vegetarian, I wouldn’t be happy thinking that my food might be contaminated with bacon hands!!
Very over priced as well. Shame.
Lovely place for brunch. Food was lovely, good coffee and great service. Thanks, we will be back 😊
I ordered the wrong meal from the menu and the manager promptly took it away and replaced it with another meal as it was my mistake they really did not have to do this. Excellent customer service
We enjoyed our time here , we sat outside in the sun, the service was great, only little gripe was my portion of food was quite small could've done with a little more.
Service could have been bit better ..food was lovely but overpriced ..
Extremely disappointing service, staff were more interested in chatting to each other and using their phones than serving tables. Wine and cocktails were fine.
Amazing food. Wonderful friendly staff.
Fast and friendly service. Drinks and food arrived quickly and was delicious ! Lovely outdoor seating area…. It’s our 3rd time visiting this week! And yes, we will be back!
Very nice vibe during my late lunch with efficient service and pleasant, attentive staff.
Tasty food and great outdoor seating area. Very helpful and professional service. We will be back.
Only negative is that the print on the menus is very hard to read. The print size is tiny. I realise it was probably eco friendly unbleached paper but that didn't help either.
Nothing special and poor value for money in terms of portion size, quality and also a fairly limited menu. Nice place inside and also looks nice from outside and staff were nice. We all felt the same and would be unlikely to return
Excellent. Small note would be to make the menu clearer that the buttermilk chicken actually comes served as a burger.
I was with 4 people and 3 of them had lovely food but mine was cold and they had forgotten parts of my meal. We arrived at 11 and it took until 11:50 to order food. Wouldn’t go back
Considering that I'd booked on the first day of lockdown being lifted to level 2, and the restaurant was therefore really busy, the serving staff did really well. Friendly, attentive, brought our food and wine orders in good time. We had the brunch menu. I ate eggs royale. The poached eggs were perfect, the smoked salmon portion was generous, and the gluten-free roll they provided was quite good. Good drinks lists, inc non-alcoholic. They had retractable awnings outside, which came in handy at one point. I'd definitely go back. And try the evening menu.
Food was lukewarm/cold. Not sure why this should be as not that busy.
Very poor burger. Overcooked, dry and like chewing cardboard, very disappointed.
Ambience was great and friendly staff. Difficult circumstances just coming out of COVID We had asked for a medium steak but it came rare perhaps due to what seemed to be an overworked chef ! We booked a table on line but there seemed to be no record. I expected the loaded fries to have avocado ...... maybe a blunt review but we will be back as the overall experience was above average
Staff were absolutely amazing, really really great service. Steak was really nice (and actually done rare like I’d asked, loads of places tend to give me medium rare) however my partner’s chicken was a bit bland. Fries were absolutely to die for. And the sauce for chicken wings was unbelievable!!
The best breakfast place in shawlands. Service is excellent.
Not all menu options available Good service
Bravo, great to be back !
A total let down and will most likely not be back.
The service was a shambles from beginning to end. We were seated at our table but then left to sit and wait, after 10/15 mins we had to ask to even look at a menu. Another 15 minute minute wait before we got to order anything. Food came quite promptly and it tasted good- the only saving grace of our visit. 2 members of the party were still eating yet a waitress was trying to clear the table- she was asked to wait as we would like to wait for everyone to finish eating first (basic manners). When clearing the table I asked for the bill as I knew this would be another long wait which the waitress brought over straight away, but yet were were waiting 20 minutes just to pay. I informed the waitress that we had been waiting quite a long time to pay and was greeted with a frosty answer.
I feel that all the effort in service was being made for those sat outside having drinks as the restaurant was not busy inside.
Not value for money, poor quality burger says homemade but tasted frozen.
Food was nice, venue is great, staff were helpful.
Food overpriced for what it is though. Chips were cold and the Ayrshire sandwich was sparse on all that was inside.
GF got the wrong order and after almost 1 hour after we arrived we get her course.
Staff were sorry and got 20% off the dish although all in all pretty underwhelmed given the entire experience.
Wont rush back
First time dining out in a long time. Sat outside in the sun. Food was great. Service was fast and friendly
Food was alright, small portions didn't get it all at once. Nice environment staff were a little frosty.
Walk up looks amazing
Well looked after, clean, stylish
Close to Pollockshaws East Station, easy to get to by car, but might need to park a slight distance off main road.
Great little venue, service was polite and friendly if a little slow (our bottle of wine arrived just as we were finishing our meal). Would definitely go back.
Great to be out again! Outdoor heaters kept us right and the menu / choices are ideal. Totally love this place
nice relaxed atmosphere , efficient and friendly service
We love Kilmurry, it was so good to be back in our favourite neighbourhood wine bar and restaurant. It was our first choice to celebrate the end of lockdown for bars and cafe with friends. We had such a lovely evening and even a little rain could not dampen our spirits. Keep up the good work, Pepe and team.
Excellent set up outside and staff couldn't have been better
Very friendly and helpful staff, great atmosphere and nice food!
Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and good food. Would recommend
It was great to be able to sit in a cafe again, and Kilmurry & Co was the ideal place to enjoy moving out of lockdown.
Amazing food and dog friendly , we came the first day use opened and was amazing just to sit and get good and a wee glass of Prosecco thanks for everything xx
Good choice of food, large and small plates, all were good and nicely presented. The only slight complaint was that it was a little cold inside.
Lovely food, great service will definitely be back to try more of the menu
