A great edition to the Brighton food scene. Fantastic flavours and presentation. The vegan/vegetarian options were excellent

Enjoyed my dinner at Kindling. Was very surprised that the 'Nogroni' (no alcohol) was as expensive as £9! The food was good, but not amazing. The service was a little bit 'try hard' and I felt could have been more relaxed and natural. A nice meal but I wouldn't rush back.

New and the first time but I'd have to say this was the first of many visits. Has a very Scandinavian feel with awesome sharing plates served by knowledgable and enthusiastic staff. It's not cheap but excellent value for money and in a number of the dishes a shoe in for Michelin..............................

The meal was delicious and the restaurant is brilliant!
They were incredibly accommodating for dietary requirements and considerably eased anxiety around dining out with food intolerances particularly gluten intolerant and coeliac.
I have already booked a table for next month with my family!

This was a really lovely restaurant - we went for the NYE set menu and we were blown away by the creativity of what we were eating! POTATO FOAM ! Amazing :) We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed everything about Kindling. Friendly service, delicious food - every dish we had was excellent, great wine list, and relaxing environment. The cauliflower, Sussex cod and gnocchi were standout plates. Well priced too. A big recommend.

Absolutely loved our meal at Kindling, what a fabulous experience. As a local I would say kindling is an amazing edition to the brighton foodie scene. Probably one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in the city. Incredible food, inventive menu, amazing wine and lovely service, all in a very accessible and unpretentious format.
In our group there were two pescatarians and a coeliac - but that wasn’t a problem at all, in fact the majority of the menu was gluten free and none of us felt limited on options. Absolutely love this place, will come back soon!

An excellent addition to the Brighton restaurant scene. Before booking Kindling I'd tried to book a table at a couple of our favourite restaurants (Etch, The Set) but they didn't have any availability. A blessing in disguise as we may not have visited Kindling as soon as we did - 4 days after opening. Kindling now joins our short list of favourite local restaurants. There was a lovely natural atmosphere, the staff were engaging & knowledgable and the food surprised and delighted. We chose to do the taste of kindling menu for £55 each - the chefs choice of 'snacks', small plates, sharing plates, a larger plate and dessert. Delicious. Congratulations on getting it right so early after opening. Best wishes for a long and successful future. We'll be back and will be certainly be recommending it to friends.

Lovely room with friendly team. Open kitchen provides lovely aroma as soon as you walk in. Sharing plates of interesting ingredient combinations. Meats are cooked rare so need to tell waiters if you want done another way.

Had an excellent meal here. Pork skin, cauliflower cheese croquettes, lamb belly, mallard and chocolate cremeux were all superb. Would definitely recommend.
