At Kindling we believe that great steak should be for everyone. Located in the heart of Brighton, our restaurant offers a laid-back dining experience with great value, quality beef cooked over charcoal and live fire.
Our open kitchen lets you see all the action up close. Witness the skill and passion of our team as they cook your steak to perfection.

We focus on quality and value, creating a casual environment that makes everyone feel at home. Kindling is perfect for casual business lunches, family get-togethers and catch-ups with friends.

Our menu is simple but spot-on. It features grass-fed British beef and delicious cocktails, wines, and beers that perfectly complement your meal. On Sundays and Mondays, we serve our Sharing Roast for two alongside our regular menu.

    Restaurant has only been open since April 2024 but has already found a good following. Not a huge menu but that’s not a problem. It’s a steak restaurant which we both throughly enjoyed. We would definitely go again.

    Really lovely! the food was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. My only criticism would be it was really draughty and we were cold the whole time - the staff did try to keep the curtain pulled over but I think it was actually coming from the extractor hood. We will definitely be back!

    Loved this place - 4/5 for food but that’s not to say the food wasn’t top notch because it was - the only thing was the steak was served not quite as hot as we like - the taste was wonderful! £20 for a relatively small steak was quite a lot but still very tasty and well cooked.
