The small plates menu is amazing value at 3 for £15.00 Wed-Fri until 6pm. Tried the Korean chicken special along with the burger and fish&chips classics. Delicious food and great service in this cosy village pub. Very happy to recommend!

Lovely pub to go for some food and it is dog friendly as well!! Every last Friday of the month they have live music which we experienced last night for the first time! It was a great night and all of the staff were lovely ! Can’t wait to come back!

Really tasty food and nice cosy atmosphere. Staff were welcoming and friendly! Wish there was a little more gravy for the roast, but all tasted so nice. Person in the group asked for some specific requirements, staff were obliging and delivered what was asked. Price was extremely reasonable for the quality of the food! Good sized portions also. Will defo visit again 😊

My wife and i both had for starters Goats Cheese and beetroot on sesame crackers which was good and tasty however our battered fish and chips for our main coarse was swimming in grease under the batter the fish was OK when batter was removed we also waited 50 minutes for our starter (i think there was a problem with kitchen equipment or power but we were not informed of this )

Food was good, but not as good as expected from reviews. Staff were very good & attentive without being intrusive. Main concern was lack of separation from pub crowd which, as expected on a Friday night, was very busy with very loud clientele. We struggled to have a conversation so not ideal.

Popped in for Sunday dinner here and will definitely be back. Roast Beef was superb, Yorkshire Pudding was huge. Excellent value and excellent tunes were playing.

Best pub lunch in Scotland by a country mile! The steak pie is a recent addition to the menu and I hope it stays. Set pub lunch is great value. Outstanding customer service as always. Delighted to recommend.

We visited the restaurant today and had a wonderful Sunday lunch. All the food was absolutely delicious and piping hot. The staff were friendly and attentive. We enjoyed it so much that we have booked it again! Fantastic place to eat.

Outstanding food and service. Sea bass- 10/10. Visited on Hogmanay- band were great - who knew I would hear Pink Floyd in Fenwick. Atmosphere was perfect- great crowd. Very luck to have this as our local.

No longer good honest pub grub, too refined with small portions. Food tasted amazing just not enough and not value for money. Service was slow and the chef only cooks steak medium unless you specify otherwise… screams of arrogance

Didn't realise it was a limited Sunday set menu, and it was fine for the meat eaters. BUT the vegetarian main course option option was carrots and kale. Nicely cooked, but no bread, rice, pasta or potato accompaniment. Basically two carrots and some fancy brocoli which cost the same as a roast beef Sunday dinner. My wife mentioned this to the server / chef and the reply was "Oh. Sorry about that". Very poor.

Really enjoyable lunch. Staff were attentive but didn’t rush us. We sat on for a while ordering a few rounds of coffees after lunch. Food was delicious and a bit different from your usual pub fayre. We had an itison voucher which had decent choices and was good value for money. Kids menu is amazing value at £5 for two course AND a drink - bargain.

Great to see this old established village pub getting a new lease of life. Lunch was excellent and the imaginative menu was thankfully a change from standard pub grub. Main courses were well presented and delicious. And staff were superb. Very welcoming, friendly and professional. Highly recommend

Great food, really nice relaxed atmosphere. Service was excellent, just the right pace, not rushed at all. Interesting menu, something for everyone, portions perfect. Really tasty. Price very reasonable considering the quality of food. Will be booking again very soon. A rare find these days.
