Kingswell Hotel Restaurant
Fantastic flavours, great ambience. Will be visiting again
Thank you Kingswell Hotel for a great weekend
We all loved the character of the property, being a very old building combined with the decor gave the place a fantastic ambience! The chandeliers were also a great touch.
We all decided to have the Sunday roast option & found the flavours were mouth-watering, YUM YUM !!!!
The restaurant was very busy with lots of people & chatter. Even so, service was reasonable. We thought the prices were good. Overall the whole meal and occasion was really enjoyable & we intend to go back there very soon.
I was very disappointed by the poor quality of food and the service was lacking training. Carvery was not a very high standard only Yorkshire pudding with some of the meats salty veg and hard under cooked. There was no feeling of Christmas it was a real let down. So disappointed they don’t have the food of back in 2010 when we had our wedding reception it was excellent. Then changed hands food good but not great atmosphere or cost. Now new people again won’t try again.
What a superb place - the most lovely listed building with a great history. Our meals were all excellent, great choice and service was outstanding. We can't wait to return
Beautiful tasteful surroundings nice comfy seats and individual tables.
The food was delicious, only problem there was far too much, really large portions. We both ordered the carrot soup, it was delicious one if the best we have tasted. Followed by the sirloin steak and a blue cheese burger, both served with nice sides and a large basket of chips or fries each. Just too much to eat it all. The service was excellent nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely return if ever in the area and have recommended it to our relatives who live near by and had not been for a while. A nice treat.
Lovely meal, have been twice now and equally good on both occasions.
Very good food, staff is very friendly, place is cozy. Try it!
Excellent evening enhanced by the attention of the member of staff who served us and suggested menu choices.
He had a very congenial and pleasant manner.
Went for Sunday lunch and was very good apart from Yorkshire puddings! Will go again thankyou
It was very good even though they had a problem with the chef having to go away the food was nice and hot and we all got it at the same time the young lad they taste order was very nice and polite would definitely go back
One server, and food wasn’t nice. We all left our plates. Not worth the money. Very disappointed as it was our wedding meal treat.
Lovely atmosphere, delicious food, nice surroundings.
Would highly recommend this restaurant. Great choice of menu with a good variety. Very good portion sizes. Clean & well presented restaurant.
Unfortunately we were the only ones in restaurant that lunchtime, but we were made to feel welcome
and the food was excellent. The building is old and steeped in history, the manageress was only to happy
too tell us some of the history relating to the building and the old beams are a delight to see, so very nice
setting for the restaurant. The food was excellent, so delicious and fresh. It put us in a quandary as too what to choose as the menu was very good.
Will definitely be going back and would recommend people to visit and sample the food.
Menu is quite dispersive. Food acceptable but not great. For example, duck was thick and gummy. Blueberry pie pretty good. Service slow considering the limited crowd.
Absolutely fantastic carvery. We get married in August and are having our reception there. Absolutely made the right choice! Beautiful restaurant and excellent service throughout.
Really good food and friendly staff. Happy to recommend
Very good food, very good service and efficient, the staff were very friendly and listened to what we said
