A relaxed all-day neighbourhood restaurant, housed underneath verdant boughs of ivy and fern, our open kitchen dining bar is the beating heart of the restaurant.

We serve a seasonal modern British menu with creative salads, robata grilled fish and meat and indulgent larger plates. The triple height ceiling fills the space with light, sound and serene colours. Plants, bespoke artwork and enveloping furniture adorn the space.

Find was lovely, however the only thing that lets it down was that we ordered oysters and there was some small shells in a lot of them. We didn't bother saying anything as it wasn't a big issue and we were only paying £1.50 each oyster so great value for money.

Go to E20 Kitchen a The Stratford Hotel; fab! Spotlessly clean dining area and you can see the chefs and kitchen staff in equally spotlessly clean area. Large material, proper, napkins. Terrific staff; professional, friendly, lovely. We had Sunday Roast Beef - delicious, excellent quality, good portion size - also puds - equally delicious, as was presentation on both courses. Added Bonus: live music provided by 2 singers/musicians. Brilliant range of songs, fabulous voices. The entire dining area and all the staff were enjoying the vibe. Great atmosphere without overwhelming conversations. We will be encouraging our friends to go to E20 Kitchen at The Stratford Hotel and we will definitely be returning. Thank you. Made our Sunday so enjoyable.

The food was absolutely delicious but the service was abysmal. Didn’t see our server half the time, and when they did swing by they really weren’t paying any attention - including giving an opportunity to order further drinks when they dropped off our food without talking to us. The Sunday lunch is listed as “bottomless gravy”, well - maybe that’s true if you could find someone to ask for more. Ended up going up to the open kitchen and asking a chef directly in the end. Not ideal.

Came for an anniversary brunch - the staff kindly gave us free celebratory dessert which was so kind of them! Our egg royales were a little on the cold side, perhaps due to the smoked salmon? There was a live singer who was AMAZING!! She was fantastic! Vibe was great and definitely recommend :) thank you so much!

Bottomless service for drinks very slow, frozen espresso martinis were warm and watery not frozen at all and part of our parties food order was forgotten which meant people eating alone after everyone. Food cold when arrived and manager arguing when queried missing items. Offered to extend the bottomless brunch but no staff would come over to take any drink orders. No live DJ which was described as going to be a “Kitchen Disco” very lifeless boring atmosphere. Just felt like we were sat in a hotel lobby with poor overpriced food/beverages and service.

As with the rest of the hotel, staff in more senior roles are disinterested and surly whilst junior serving staff are polite and friendly. Doesn’t live up to its own hype at all. Won’t be coming back.

Overall OK, nothing special. Seemed to be really short staff on waiters, had to ask for drinks to be topped up for the whole duration of our brunch. Most disappointing was that the drinks advertised online for the brunch are different from what you are offered which is misleading advertising

It was quiet at the brassiere. Foo was tasty: I would have liked a little more tuna on the plate. Drinks took a while to arrive, I had to ask. Staff very friendly though.

We had a wonderful experience when coming for brunch at the weekend. The staff were super friendly and very attentive (and they made sure we made the most of the bottomless drinks, which is hugely appreciated when you're on a time limit!) The food and drinks were delicious and arrived so quickly. The atmosphere was great and the performer singing indoors was incredible. I will definitely be returning and bringing many people with me!

The roast lunch was very disappointing. I had only two potatoes, half a carrot and lots of kale. The lamb meat was very fatty and undercooked. Before ordering the staff explained the meat was precooked and I could not ask for it to be cooked in a particular way, regrettably I chose to continue with the order. The quality and quantity of the food was lacking, and it was quite surprising as I had been to the Allergra restaurant before and had expected a high standard of food.

We were staying in the hotel saw they did a Sunday roast. It was delicious! Perfect portion sizes, the service was excellent. Very attentive and warm. Would defiantly go back. Oh and there was some live music which was great too.

Great cocktails, food was good. Only slip up was we had to ask for a spoon for soup.
