Based on the high quality and integrity of our fish, seafood, meat, poultry, and vegetable ingredients as well as our attention to the execution of our dishes, we want our guests to enjoy an upscale experience in a comfortable casual setting with casual prices. Our clean, cozy, warm dining room and the convenience of our own parking lot in Tyson's Corner complete the Kizuna experience.
The menu is a love letter to the two Japanese traditions of ramen and sushi. In fact, the name Kizuna is derived from a Japanese concept meaning strong emotional bonds. In this case, the bond between people and also between people and the food they love. The sushi menu has a large selection of nigiri, including shrimp, tuna, salmon, octopus and tobiko. The signature Kizuna ramen has three slices of pork belly, charred garlic oil, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, toasted nori and half a hanjuku egg.

The pork belly ramen was amazing! The pork melted in my mouth, the broth was perfectly seasoned, and the other things that they put into the bowl were perfect additions.
As usual, and outstanding overall experience! Wonderful Asian fusion and traditional sushi as well specialty Ramen 😌
Great service and food
Meh. Sushi had a “whiff” to it, cuts were sinewy and chewy, not in a good way. I’m feeling the after effects in my stomach right now, hoping for a brief storm only. $90 for three people, for that quality of sushi, not worth it. Not going back.
Good service with good food. We had a great time. Thanks.
Great experience. We will be back. Food was quick with good service.
The menu seems more authentically a Japanese than some other restaurants. We all enjoyed it. The ambiance is very casual. Parking could be a challenge at peak hours.
Nice restaurant in a convenient location. Sushi was above average, but the ramen noodles were stuck together and almost uncooked. Service was off the night we went as we had to wait for our drink order for almost 20 minutes and when we did get it, the drink order was incomplete.
Not a good first impression for a restaurant but not a deal breaker. May try it again.
Kizuna is a restaurant with well prepared food, ample portions, and great service. The only downside is that the menu is limited in size.
The sushi is AMAZING! Without a doubt my favorite place to find great sushi and authentic ramen!
Always the best ramen in the area; you order and you et your food within 15 minutes or leas, and it always always tastes super delicious. Highly recommended.
This is one of my favorites in the area. The ramen is incredible, sushi is fresh and tasty, and it’s not as noisy and understaffed like other Japanese restaurants in the area.
Kizuna was our third dining experience for our anniversary weekend. We tried the Gyoza, the steamed baos, and shared a bowl of Ramen with a lava egg. Food was fun and delicious. Wait staff was attentive, and our food arrived promptly. Nothing was offered for our anniversary.
Solid sushi option--the best one in the area that I'm aware of. Prices are fair, and the menu has a lot of options.
Great ramen spot tucked near Tysons Corner. Loved the ambiance and service.
Kizuna was fun. The food was different and good. Our waitress was attentive. It is a place to go, especially for Ramen.
Discovering a restaurant like this is sometimes tricky; everything really worked out; service great, place great and food very good too.
Ambiance is great, service is very good but the food is so-so. Disappointed with the ramen. It is pricey but the taste needs a lot of improvement. The ramen broth lacks depth and flavor, sushi was ok and takoyaki was very good.
Went for dinner first time 4/27/18. Place is crisp and nicely decorated. Different height levels for seating. Solid wood sculpted chairs are comfortable. They have nice outdoor seating. Maybe if you are eating ramen, but I like eating sushi indoors. Had both the special pork ramen, which was delicious, nice strong broth flavor, very tender pork belly not overly fatty, and several sushi rolls. Three different rolls, traditional spicy tuna, ruby dragon and red & white. All fresh and delicious. Watch out for the kochujang. The spicy can creep up on you. Will definitely go back. Relaxing from the bustle of Tysons.
My husband is A born and raised Japanese and he was quite complimentary if the Chirashi. I had the crab avocado mango appetizer-delicious and tuna and avocado rolls. What’s nice is the rolls had more tuna and avocado than rice. Too many places bulk up the rolls with rice. A mix of couples and families, works for everyone. Definitely will be one of our go to places for everyday dining!
So delighted to have an Asian restaurant that does not serve any peanut dishes and that has great food. Any time we can dine and not worry about my son's nut, dairy and gluten allergies rates an outstanding from me. Very good sushi and a lot of options for dining make this a fun place to go.
Beautiful layout. Great and prompt service. Sashimi was very fresh, but sushi wasn't that good...rice is too dry and rough
Great choice for all ages, the food was beautifully presented, everything was hot and delicious. Our group had a variety of dishes, sushi, ramen, tempera and dumpling - everything was great.
We had some truly outstanding dishes. The hamachi kama and pork belly bao appetizers were phenomenal. The ramen was the best I've ever had. The sushi was very good, but not outstanding. Service was good, even though the restaurant was very busy.
Outstanding, as usual!
Great with food allergies. Not many sushi/Asian restaurants are as accommodating for gluten/dairy/nut allergies.
Everything was spectacular. The sushi was amazing and the ramen was beyond delicious.
Server forgot to give us silverware. We have to get ours from another table. Forgot to put lemon on glass of water as requested. Finally got the lemon after 3rd request. Soup came warm instead of hot as requested.
Sushi was excellent
This is my 3rd time here as my daughter and I have been sampling different places for her birthday lunch. At first I was concerned when it took us a while to get waters and drinks, but after that initial delay everything was great despite a group of 9 with a 4 year old and a 7 year old :) Both sushi and ramen were great, and I perfer the very European style of bringing out food when it's ready (as in the kids were fed way before us)!
This is one of my family's favorite restaurants. It's had to pick between sushi and ramen. I personally alternate. They have small plate portions for the kids, too. Not only is the food delicious, the decor is very inviting (red and black) and wait staff are very friendly and attentive. It's been right on the mark every time.
If Ramen is what you seek then it was on point.
Outstanding, as ever!
Kizuna is a very good sushi restaurant. We arrived at 7pm on a Friday and were seated promptly. We opted to sit at the sushi bar and the chefs were very nice and talked to us about the best fresh fish. The sushi was very good, obviously fresh and well made. They use fresh wasabi and greens (none of those plastic green separators). A very nice evening and reasonably priced meal; we will be back!
Food always good and tasty. Place hasn't let me down yet.
Best Sushi I had in the Washington DC metropolitan area.
The Chef was outstanding! Pepsi makes the most amazing displays of sushi in town and it’s made so quickly and very fresh! It’s so beautifully plated that it looks like art!
Food was delicious. Appreciate the gluten free options as my son is allergic to gluten and dairy. Staff were extremely friendly and willing to work with us.
As usual, outstanding!
Good little sushi and ramen place. Not the most amazing or authentic, but creative and the food really is done well. Sushi rolls rotate and so does the app and dessert menus. I don't often get the ramen but when I do it's entirely filling and delicious. Perfect for cold winter nights and the outdoor area is great in summer too. If you are in the Tysons area it is definitely worth a try!!!
