Based on the high quality and integrity of our fish, seafood, meat, poultry, and vegetable ingredients as well as our attention to the execution of our dishes, we want our guests to enjoy an upscale experience in a comfortable casual setting with casual prices. Our clean, cozy, warm dining room and the convenience of our own parking lot in Tyson's Corner complete the Kizuna experience.
The menu is a love letter to the two Japanese traditions of ramen and sushi. In fact, the name Kizuna is derived from a Japanese concept meaning strong emotional bonds. In this case, the bond between people and also between people and the food they love. The sushi menu has a large selection of nigiri, including shrimp, tuna, salmon, octopus and tobiko. The signature Kizuna ramen has three slices of pork belly, charred garlic oil, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, toasted nori and half a hanjuku egg.
Excellent fresh sushi and sashimi with chef explaining details about how he procures the fish.
Fresh Uni, Toro and Spanish Makerel.
Attentive service, bar made good margarita (lol). Edamame came out looking like old beans had been mixed in with new... kitchen tried to convince us it was a mix of black and green edamame and that is why the colors were different - couldn’t find anything online about these differing types of edamame so we sent back and requested new beans only - the second plate looked the same so we didn’t eat. Pretty good prices and palatable sushi. Nothing really overly impressive about the food. Wouldn’t return, there are better casual sushi spots nearby.
Always great. Had the Pork Shoyu Ramen with pork stock, delicious. Had the monster Goyza app, also delicious. Sushi was great as well as the service.
I had been here once before, and thought it was pretty good. Our second visit was not so good. It took several minutes for the staff to notice us; once we finally ordered drinks, it turned out they were out of our first several drink orders - which happens, but the waitress didn't apologize and just kept coming back to the table with "we don't have that either - what else do you want" - not a great attitude to take when we're ordering off your menu that needs to be updated. Food was fine - we ordered the brussels sprouts, a couple "everyday" rolls, and some ramen - at least the food tasted good. We didn't see the waitress again for a while, so if we needed anything after our food came, we were out of luck. I am a sucker for mochi, so despite the not great experience we decided to order dessert, but unfortunately the waitress didn't write down the order and brought the wrong thing to my husband. And then our bill was $100 - pretty pricey for two people who had one drink each. It wasn't awful - but it definitely was not 4 or 5 star service.
Bland food. Hair in our sushi. Manager handled very poorly.
We love coming here, the service is always good and the food is always delicious. It's got great ramen and it's always so hard to decide between ramen or sushi! We usually just get both :)
This is one of our regular eating places since we moved here a few years ago and we love it. Great food, friendly service and the owner is also frequently there to say hello to patrons. If you have not been here it is a “must try”.
Kizuna is a fantastic little ramen and sushi restaurant hidden away in Tysons Corner. It has a good sushi list with great simple rolls and some fun specialty rolls. The Shio ramen bowls are very good and have large portion sizes at a reasonable price.
Really good ramen and fresh sushi! Good portions. The waitress and owners were attentive and nice. We’ll be going back for sure.
Sushi was a bit overpriced for what it was.
Love Kizuna. Food always great. Service is stellar.
Visiting from California. Service was great and everything was supremely fresh. Recommended if looking for great sushi and Ramen.
Excellent sushi and ramen! The owner is wonderful, warm and welcoming.
I’ve been to Kizuna many times before and am used to the service. The first time I was there, my server was very condescending and even questioned my choice to order two servings of an appetizer. My most recent time, I reached out to touch my udon bowl and burned all of my fingers. No one had made my table aware that the bowl would be hot.
The bartender and sushi guy at the kiosk smiled at me upon my arrival . Our lady waitress also gave us the Green Tea as a welcome treat after she found out that it was our first time there.
The food was excellent. One dish that the waitress said was not spicy, however, was actually quite spice. In addition, the restaurant was a bit noisy, which is why I rated the ambiance only "good". (We do not particularly like an "energetic" noise level.) The value was excellent. Overall, this restaurant was excellent!
Sashimi and sushi is not really what I am used to as quality Sashimi and sushi. I guess I am just so used to what I get in Hawaii. Ramen is okay.
Fantastic sushi at highest quality, plus great sake choices and Ramen. Delicious!
Perfect venue and food for family birthday. We ordered miso soup, seaweed salad, and a huge platter of various sushi items to please all 3 of us.
As always, great food. But I ordered the ramen and it took more than thirty minutes to arrive. My wife's main course came much earlier. When I asked about my meal, the waiter told me the ramen station was backed up. Had he told me that when I made the order I would have asked for something else. I consider this a breakdown in service and it marred an otherwise good dining experience. I hope in the future the staff will alert customers beforehand if there is a delay.
Rolls are more expensive than most of the sushi restaurants in the area.
We had some issues with the server but he quickly resolved them. I really enjoyed my sushi but the friend didnt like her ramen as much. It's also a bit tricky to get to. I would go back for the sushi tho!
The pork belly ramen was amazing! The pork melted in my mouth, the broth was perfectly seasoned, and the other things that they put into the bowl were perfect additions.
As usual, and outstanding overall experience! Wonderful Asian fusion and traditional sushi as well specialty Ramen 😌
Great service and food
Meh. Sushi had a “whiff” to it, cuts were sinewy and chewy, not in a good way. I’m feeling the after effects in my stomach right now, hoping for a brief storm only. $90 for three people, for that quality of sushi, not worth it. Not going back.
Good service with good food. We had a great time. Thanks.
Great experience. We will be back. Food was quick with good service.
The menu seems more authentically a Japanese than some other restaurants. We all enjoyed it. The ambiance is very casual. Parking could be a challenge at peak hours.
Nice restaurant in a convenient location. Sushi was above average, but the ramen noodles were stuck together and almost uncooked. Service was off the night we went as we had to wait for our drink order for almost 20 minutes and when we did get it, the drink order was incomplete.
Not a good first impression for a restaurant but not a deal breaker. May try it again.
Kizuna is a restaurant with well prepared food, ample portions, and great service. The only downside is that the menu is limited in size.
The sushi is AMAZING! Without a doubt my favorite place to find great sushi and authentic ramen!
Always the best ramen in the area; you order and you et your food within 15 minutes or leas, and it always always tastes super delicious. Highly recommended.
This is one of my favorites in the area. The ramen is incredible, sushi is fresh and tasty, and it’s not as noisy and understaffed like other Japanese restaurants in the area.
Kizuna was our third dining experience for our anniversary weekend. We tried the Gyoza, the steamed baos, and shared a bowl of Ramen with a lava egg. Food was fun and delicious. Wait staff was attentive, and our food arrived promptly. Nothing was offered for our anniversary.
Solid sushi option--the best one in the area that I'm aware of. Prices are fair, and the menu has a lot of options.
Great ramen spot tucked near Tysons Corner. Loved the ambiance and service.
Kizuna was fun. The food was different and good. Our waitress was attentive. It is a place to go, especially for Ramen.
Discovering a restaurant like this is sometimes tricky; everything really worked out; service great, place great and food very good too.
Ambiance is great, service is very good but the food is so-so. Disappointed with the ramen. It is pricey but the taste needs a lot of improvement. The ramen broth lacks depth and flavor, sushi was ok and takoyaki was very good.
