   Over priced for what you receive the 2person tables are way too small there was not enough light for dinners sitting outside & I must say the first time I have ever been asked by a staff member whist paying the bill “do you want to leave a tip” Was okay up until that moment… Not cool guys!!👎

   Miss Songs is always fantastic, service was great & we always love a table outside as it is really lovely there. The food was amazing & plenty to eat. We had Banquet No. 1 & it was really nice.

   This is a quality restaurant with great ambience and food selection is first class. Staff were very accommodating and gave us plenty of time between courses so that our selections did not all come at once. I thought pricing was reasonable as well. Will certainly revisit

    The food is always stunning and I dont mind paying a fine dining price. But i expect a few things for that. •The laminated menus smelt- in a restaurant like this I would expect a beautiful bound menu on paper •The staff were kind and caring- but not trained in what is in the menu. Pronouncing words of items wrong and unable to suggest different combinations •there is a really vast and beautiful wine list. But no knowledge about what to pair or even if the wines were dry or sweet. I understand there isnt a sommelier available all the time due to location. But training on wine should be done. Even the manager couldnt help and tried. But was shaky and not confident. Let me say that the chef is extraordinary and the food is divine. I love and support what is happening with the ville and adore this restaurant being in townsville. But now that eyes arent on the day to day. The service/training has slipped.

    The venue and ambience was nice but unfortunately the service was poor - waited 25 mins for our first drink, mixed up our meals, never took a second drink order, didn't offer the dessert menu, then left us waiting 20 mins for our bill. The food was average, much the same as we get from our local Chinese takeaway except three times the price. If the staff were friendly or even apologetic, we could have potentially overlooked some of these details but unfortunately, they were all cold and disinterested. Such a shame.

    The food was good, service was good, didnt like feeling rushed with the table turn over service. Cocktails were a little pricey and it would of been nice if they had some specialty ones that were a bit less money than the rest. The duck is delish!

    Our night was very disappointing. Booked in at 8.30pm. Order was taken at 9pm. Before we had received our first course or first drink, were asked to order dessert. Ordered duck banquet. First 3 courses arrived all together - there was hardly any room left on the table. These 3 courses were nice - but we felt rushed. Then the soup arrived very hot so we waited a heart beat before eating, then last course arrived! I told the waiter we were not ready and to take it back. He said he couldn't as the noodles would go mushy and we could just leave it on the table until we were ready. I said it would be cold by the time we got to it. He didn't seem to care. The soup was way too hot and we felt rushed to enjoy it. The chow mein was gluggy and disgusting. When we went to pay the lady asked how it was. I told her, she listened and said I'm sorry I'll tell the manager so it doesn't happen again, that will be $188. I was too gob smacked to reply. She should have got the manager right there and then. If you don't want to stay open to give customers a good experience - don't take 8.30 bookings. Or don't allow banquets after a certain time. This was the worse dining experience I have had and I will not be recommending Miss Songs to my friends. We left the restaurant with a foul taste in our mouths from the way we were dealt with from the beginning of the night right to the end. Poor customer service and poor food quality equals poor dining experience.

    As a lover of Asian food and my choice of the traditional lemon chicken was the worst attempt of Asian cooking I have experienced!! The batter coating was nothing short of the worst fish and chip shop greasy thick batter I’ve ever seen!! My feelings were passed onto the staff and all the staff looked gob smacked when the pile of batter was returned to the kitchen!! If anyone would like pictures of the meal I’m happy to share!!

    I have been to miss songs many times but this time was not great. I asked if the food was spicy. They said it wasn't but it was hard to eat. Got the lamb ribs. Very small portion for what you pay but most of the ribs had more fat than meat. Disappointed

    Very enjoyable first visit. Service from entering to departing was great from all who we interacted with. Our main waiter, Joe, was excellent, being attentive but not intrusive. Duck banquet was a must try. We were very satisfied with quality and quantity of each dish. Looking forward to visiting Miss Songs again next time we are in Townsville.

    Beautiful food. Was dissatisfied with Miss Songs fried rice, it was more like steamed rice with prawns, scallops peas etc. added. All 4 of us were disappointed with the rice. The rest of the meals were perfect. Had to ask for drinks and remind a waiter they had not arrived. That was the only drink we had for the evening as we were not approached for follow up drinks, which we probably would have had at least one more. All in all a pretty good night

    The food was absolutely beautiful and our waitress was also very polite, helpful and also knowledgeable about the food and the menu. It was a fantastic night. We booked Miss Songs as it was our Wedding anniversary and a special occasion and we truly enjoyed the evening. Thank you.

    If you like good Chinese go to Miss Songs. The only problem is working out what to order. Sizzling Scotch fillet is a must have. Great service also.

    From entry to exit this night out did not disappoint. Service was impeccable and food absolutely delicious. We opted for Banquet 1, and there was more than sufficient food and variety for the 4 of us. We will return. PS the Mongolian Lamb Sizzling platter smelt really good, that’s my next menu item!

    Being from Sydney we’re blessed with a variety of excellent Asian restaurants but Miss Songs in Townsville vis right up there with Mr Wong or Rice Den. The stir fried greens, Kung Pa chicken and Singapore noodles were all steaming hot, generous and exceptionally executions of the dish. Congratulations kitchen - 8.5/10.

    Only ever heard positive remarks regarding Miss Songs. I'd waited years to finally eat here, and my experience did not disappoint. Incredible food that amazed me with every bite. Staff were so friendly and polite, the service they provided was outstanding! I can't wait to go here again!
