Took a little long for service, but understandable, as I believe they are dealing with staffing issues
I was celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday and I requested a piece of cake with a message “ happy birthday my love “ I guess they don’t read my request. We asked for it but instead they gave us fried cheese cake . Well, it’s still sounds cake..
Dine there regularly. Enjoy the food. The wait staff is very good. Downfall is there is no sushi
Service was not the best. Slow forgot to bring some of the order had to ask for remainder of order
Have eaten at Koi hundreds of times over the years.
Recently, service is terrible, No Sushi, food is fair and overpriced.
Pick another location.
Great service. Personable server. Good selection on menu
Server was very knowledgeable and food was amazing!!
Fast service, good food, very happy with my experience
Nancy was our server and made us all feel comfortable and provided our dinner and drinks in a timely manner. Very great service and the food was good and will see us again!
Good was very good and was presented nicely.
Waiting longer than normal due to short staffed.
But the service and food was excellent as it usually is
We were Given a 9:00 reservation I guess we were the last table of the evening and rushed out because the kitchen was closing & wait staff wanted to get out. Very good food but terrible service. It wasn’t like we were there very long maybe 35 min but it would’ve been nice to relax instead when we ordered 2 drinks we we’re given plastic to go cups and rushed out.
Very good food but price didn't match value fairly. But lack of prior notification about about not having sushi was not acceptable or communicated clearly
They did not have sushi so we left.
Always enjoyed meals here but a bit strange no sushi or egg rolls were available
Koi has a very nice menu with a fairly large selection of soups, salads, seafood and traditional noodle and rice dishes. Our waitress served our orders family style which allowed all four of us to have a little of every dish.
Quality of food and seating similar to "fast food" outlets. Nearby local restaurants offer better value for your money.
One of our favorites
We go almost weekly
Can't beat it
The Restaurant was not full but we felt rushed. From sit down to check was less than 40 minutes. After we finished our meal the waitress did not ask if we wanted another drink or dessert. The manager walked around the whole time staring at tables and marking something on a tablet. It was quite annoying being that the restaurant was nowhere near capacity. The food was ok, nothing special but not bad. We were there for a birthday and to relax and have a nice meal and have some drinks. However we felt very rushed. If we wanted "fast food" we would have gone to McDonald's. Very disappointed as we have eaten there before. Feeling like your being watched the whole meal is not pleasant. We hope they change their approach to customer service.
Very good food, they didn’t have sushi but the rest of the menu had plenty of delicious dishes.
Always look forward to eat at Koi.
Have heard other dinners say we need to come back here again. Our feeling exactly is the same. Very delicious.
Four of us enjoyed family style dining by each ordering a dish and sharing. The food arrived quickly and we felt rushed to finish and be on our way. No doubt due to limited seating and COVID but the food was tasty and enjoyed by all of us.
The restaurant like many others have had to alter their menu etc due to limited staffing. We were unable to order sushi or the signature cocktails, however, the food and the service was absolutely wonderful. It was truly a wonderful dining experience.
Very nice restaurant. Waitstaff attentive but not overly so. Food wS delicious.
Went there for sushi but they didn’t have any sushi!
Have a great meal there, our waitress was wonder as always.
The food was terrible. They were out of most vegetarian dishes and were not making sushi that night. Nice wait staff however!
Rice was not washed before making it, so when it was cooked it was mushy. Would not go back the sauces are the best part because you can’t mess up chili paste.
Arrived 5 minutes before reservation time and was seated immediately. Our server was very friendly and helpful and answered all of our questions. I had the Pad Thai and it was great. My companions had the roasted duck soup, the flavor of the soup was a bit light. All in all a good experience.
no flavor mixed veggies seafood creme sauce.
Shusi was not available (no prior notice)
saki bottles not available (no prior notice)
staff unattentive (had same person before, never an issue) place was very understaffed.
crispy duck was over done (had several times before without issues)
Overall unpleasant experience
Fantastic! The food was delicious. Staff was pleasant and attentive. We will definitely dine at Koi again during future Seneca Niagara visits.
We went to KOI on our vacation, thinking it was a nice place to have a quiet dinner. The waitress was fabulous but the food was cold and small portions for the price. We paid 44.00 for triple seafood delight and we got four under cooked scallops, two shrimp and a lobster tail that was slimy and had som kind of body part attached that was very tuff. We dress up and everyone else came in shorts and flip flops. Also no sushi as their menu online says but the waitress informed us they are under staffed so they don’t have it. Very disappointed
The flavor, textured and quality of our food was outstanding! Great service, nice atmosphere. Food was served piping hot! Highly Recommend the honey glazed jumbo shrimp and Maine lobster!
We went for sushi. After we were seated, we were told they were not serving any sushi because they were short handed. We drove a couple miles to Fugi Grill and had amazing sushi for a more reasonable price.
Fantastic as always!
We ordered the fried squid and it was over cooked!! It was too chewy to eat but the rest of our food was delicious!!! I didn’t complain because I fully understand about the lack of workers and especially the cooks. Overall it was a great experience.
The menu is extensive with choices to meet anyone's tastes. The food is excellent and freshly made.
food was very good, but I felt it was very pricey.
They also added an additional surcharge of 4% when I went to pay cash
Seated at a table in the restaurant entrance when better seats were available, and we had a reservation. When given menus by server, asked for Sushi menu and told ‘No Sushi tonight’. That’s it. No explanation. Very average quality food and drink for high quality prices. Welcome to the Casino.
