Koocha was founded in 2018 as Bristol’s first totally vegan restaurant – a plant pioneer, we’ve led the way for animal-free cuisine across the city.

What really sets us apart though is the big, unexpected and delicious spices and flavours from Persia and the Middle East that infuse every dish in our bountiful menu.

We went for my husbands birthday, he had Koocha on his list of food places he wants to go to, so we drove down from Leicester to give it a whirl. Food was delicious, service fantastic and it has a great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be returning in the future.

The whole menu looked fantastic. We are clearly going to have to make several return visits to work our way through it. The dishes we had were divine. Also were tempted by dessert and they also did not disappoint - spiced cinnamon rice balls were lush. Staff really friendly and efficient. All fab.

EVERYTHING was lovely! The people were efficient, friendly and all in all, wonderful! The food was delicious. We had the dirty kebabi, broccoli (a new dish), cauliflower and samosas. I also had a mocktail that was yum! After all that we decided to get baklava which came with ice cream too! YUMMO! Will definitely be back!!

The concept of vegan Persian cuisine is nice, but the execution was disappointing. The food was tasteless (apart from the dessert which was very good), the table was too small and our glasses of water smelt like cloth. The waitress was very nice though. If I'll ever go back that would be for cake only.

Really great vegan food, enjoyed equally by the vegans and non-vegans in our party. The menu is well balanced, with a good mix of healthy options (mezze, kebabs served with rice) and not-so healthy (variety of dirty fries and burgers). We loved it!

I went with a friend before a show, there were lots of different dishes to choose from which made it difficult as it all sounded amazing! The food arrived quickly and it tasted delicious! The staff were friendly and answered any questions we had. I highly recommend Koocha Mezze.

4 vegans in a fantastic vegan restaurant! What more can you ask for?! This restaurant is stunning, not only in aesthetics but the food is excellent. We ordered a lot of food (a hard choice) and it was all excellent. We went at 6:00pm on a Tuesday, which in hindsight was probably a bit early as it was very quiet and we were the only people in there for a while. However, it did mean that we were served quickly and the food came quickly! An hour later would have given an extra layer in terms of atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!
