Our menu is shaped by the seasons, creative plates that combine the very best produce with a splash of imagination to give familiar dishes a playful twist.
Our South African roots inspire our food - whether that's slow cooking in a potjie pot over hot coals, or baking our delicious Kudu bread. Sourced as much as possible from local suppliers, we celebrate hunters & foragers and gather what we can from our own herb garden and vegetable plot.
Kudu is a couple team- Amy Corbin & Patrick Williams - brought together by our love of good food and a closely held dream to create a special place where we can share our favourite dishes with friends, family and neighbours.

Best restaurant I've been to in a long time! Faultless!
We went for brunch. My friend wanted the sweet brunch. The waitress told her its prob best if she had something different as the sweet one is best for afters. I thought that was a bit rude. The eggs were overcooked and the homemade waffle was well over done. Well overpriced for a very plain meal and a waitress full of herself.
Excellent - would highly recommend to anyone looking to dine in peckham
Very nice venue in Queens Rd Peckham. Beautifully furnished- somewhere great for s weekend brunch without central London crowds!!
It was definitely an experience and we will be coming back!! The food was delicious and was presented beautifully! The only thing that we didn’t like was the fact that we were asked to order all dishes at once as the restaurant was getting busy. As a consequence we finished our meal in an hour as dishes were coming one after another. I’d suggest that they don’t pressurise customers to make decision straightaway as you don’t know whether you’ll be hungry to eat it all. Other than that, amazing!
Wow could not have been more impressed with the food and the service. Staff friendly and inviting. The food was to die for. Looking forward to going again soon in the near future.
This is a great little spot in Peckham serving amazing small plates with a South African twist. Everything was delicious and so creatively put together. The staff are all fabulous knowledgable and helpful. The atmosphere is cosy and although tables aren’t huge it is comfortable dining. Good for couples and small groups. No wonder it was awarded a Bib Gourmand in less than a year of opening. If you live south of the river get down there fast!
divine as usual - the only thing really was that the delicious beef dish for 2 was vast for us (2 smallish women) and we could have ordered fewer other dishes...
The food was amazing and the staff were so lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
The whole experience was amazing. The food was out of this world! I'd really recommend the kudu bread with bacon butter, pork and duck terrine and the duck confit. The waiter we had was lovely and very personable. I really liked the seating as I was sat next to my partner rather than opposite.
This was one of the best meals I've had in a long, long time. Gorgeous.
Kudu has it all - and being local to Peckham, we are excited to have such a great restaurant on our doorstep. The service was faultless. The restaurant is cosy and warm and we loved the candles everywhere. It was full and had a great atmosphere. The food was of Michelin star quality in my view. The onglet, sprouts and the pumpkin pie with charcoal ice cream were stand out dishes. Really new and different flavours. We had 4 courses with wine and the bill was £43 incl service which was good value considering the quality. Highly recommended!
We were blown away at how wonderful the food was at Kudu. The service and environment also helped to ensure that we had a really wonderful all round experience. Would recommend this place highly
Super amazing food, love the concept of a sharing dinner. Very cozy, nice stadig and open kitchen
Another outstanding meal at Kudu, perhaps even better than the last! My parents said it was worth the drive down from Birmingham just to come to Kudu. Thanks again!
Second time at this great restaurant, and cannot rate this place highly enough! Perfect for any time of day, and be prepared to want everything on the menu (we ordered entire brunch menu) The service and quality of food is top notch
Very good food and drinks !!! Amazing kudu bread and ricotta cheese dish! Totally recommended
Kudu is an excellent addition to the burgeoning Peckham food scene.
Hands down the best meal I have had in months, Kudu is an absolute gem. Go, whilst you can still get a table.
Great food, great service, great evening. Tough to hear a thing my friends said but we were too busy scoffing down the delicious food to worry...
My husband and I had the BEST time at Kudu. The food as some of the best we've ever eaten and was prepared with such art and dedication. We sat at the bar and loved speaking with the cooking crew and getting to watch them work their magic. We HIGHLY recommend coming here if you're in the area (and even if you're not!)
Just amazing! Really nice and tasty food, highly recommend it!
Charming, attentive service from bright young staff. We sat at the counter and thoroughly enjoyed watching the chefs in action. They took time to chat to us and explain different dishes even though it was a busy service.
Small plates are definitely one per person. Food is tasty and intriguing, with some fun garnishes - unusual herbs, sauces, oils, broths and so on - which makes it exciting to order lots of different items. The ricotta agnolotti with its delicate yet intensely flavourful tomato broth was a highlight.
I felt my fish was tasty but needed a bit of a lift - perhaps something sharp on the plate, as the creamy sauce was a little too subtle and mild tasting to leave a real impression. The Brussels sprouts are apparently a must order but I would say they were a tad salty - I would have liked to taste more of the lime and chilli.
The pumpkin tart was stunning, rich and intense but not heavy. I loved my rich chocolate ganache, which had been whipped into a kind of mousse, and was paired with a nutty sesame ice cream.
We look forward to returning soon, if only to taste the Kudu bread which had sold out on our visit!
Really great little spot in Peckham. Couldn’t recommend it more.
Really great food - the brussel sprouts in particular were fabulous (thank you for recommending)! Will definitely return. Nice ambiance and very friendly helpful staff. What more could you want. Ingredients were all fresh. Good to be able to see cooking happening.
Had been meaning to try Kudu for ages as we are close neighbours. Really exceeded my expectations and I'd actually heard really good stuff about it. Small and cosy so maybe not ideal for a larger group but very romantic and snug for two. Great food. Loved sitting at the bar and watching the chefs work. Really kindly marked out all the gluten free options for me and offered a really nice gluten free bread as an alternative for their famous bread and flavoured melted butter. the oysters were some of the best I've ever had. Staff were friendly and attentive. We'll be coming back as often as we can afford I imagine!
Excellent service and delicious food. Dessert was devine.
The Friday lunch set menu is a good deal - must have the bread and melted butter, the duck beautifully tender with an amazing sauce which must endure and so too the gorgeous malt ganache dessert. The interior is beautiful and calming - you can tell the owners are accomplished and experienced at getting it right.
Love this place. Keep going back. Food is so nice. Drinks are nice. Staff are great.
Fab place – amazing food, great atmosphere and really friendly staff. Definitely worth the trip out to Peckham! Thanks guys.
Consistently excellent, and a welcome addition to the top restaurants in South London
Food is exquisite, will definitely go again. Highlight was the duck - so tender inside and crispy outside
Exceptional, in every way.
Excellent food. Cosy place. Great for foodies- exceptional really.
Such a great evening filled with delicious food, impeccable service and a cosy yet chic ambience. 10/10 would go here again!
Wouldn't hesitate in recommending this little gem. Great food, fantastic and attentive service
Great restaurant ! Really rare to
Have such a great quality of food and service in Peckham.. Must try !
Something different and definitely worth the trek, booking essential!
Lovely brunch - I had the duck egg, home cured bacon sourdough waffle and it was delicious !
Absolutely extraordinary food, service and ambiance in a rather unexpected location: A Peckham main road. Cooking is creative, considered, inventive, a little unusual... But most importantly, completely and utterly delicious. Ask for a seat at the pass (book early), ask for recommendations from the server, gamble comfortably on any of the unusually affordable wine options and enjoy the ride. An absolute corker.
