Our menu is shaped by the seasons, creative plates that combine the very best produce with a splash of imagination to give familiar dishes a playful twist.
Our South African roots inspire our food - whether that's slow cooking in a potjie pot over hot coals, or baking our delicious Kudu bread. Sourced as much as possible from local suppliers, we celebrate hunters & foragers and gather what we can from our own herb garden and vegetable plot.
Kudu is a couple team- Amy Corbin & Patrick Williams - brought together by our love of good food and a closely held dream to create a special place where we can share our favourite dishes with friends, family and neighbours.

I was hoping for more South African inspired dishes - had it not been for the bread, biltong and one potjie dish I wouldnt have known it was South African. The food was delicious and tasty and well prepared.
Incredible meal, the kudu bread is a must have! We sat at the counter which I recommend for 2 people. This is my second time and won’t be the last
We went for lunch and initially were a bit disappointed at the smaller lunch menu - but we needn't have been! We ordered the onglet (for 2) and veg braai to share and every single bite was so mindblowingly amazing. One of the best meals we've had in London so far. Will definitely be back for dinner. The service was very lovely too.
What an amazing place !!! The food was so so good everything we tried was delicious. Full of different and surprising flavors. The bread, the asparagus, the onion Tatin, the Onglet... Moreover the restaurant is so charming and romantic. The ambiance is very nice.
I cannot wait to come back.
A great find. The food was excellent - really different tastes, beautifully presented - great to see the chefs at work behind the bar and loved meeting Elsa the dog who came in right at the end of the evening. Don't worry if you are not a fan of dogs in restaurants - she isn't there most of the time, but we left late and are dog lovers any way - and she is beautiful!
Wonderful mothers day treat. Food is creative, healthy and delicious. One London's hidden gems.
Unexpectedly fabulous and unusual food. Perfect bavette steak with extraordinary mushrooms and delicate vegetable purée amongst the highlights. Also excellent smoke-infused cocktail as aperitif. Would go out of my way to revisit.
Great food and very friendly service. Have already recommended it to others
Took my Mum to Kudu on Mother’s Day for brunch. Had a wonderful meal served by great people and at an affordable price. Thanks Kudu. Mum loved it.
Such a friendly, warming welcome. The service was wonderful and the restaurant has a really fun and vibrant atmosphere.
Wonderful and interesting food with first-time experiences like the yummy bread, relaxed and warm atmosphere, attentive but sensitive service, didn’t hear any other tables’ conversations though the place was fully booked. Even the toilets were lovely! Will definitely come again!
Fabulous little neighbourhood restaurant with interesting food and brilliant service. This was our first visit but it won’t be our last!
Excellent. Lovely atmosphere, amazing (but rich!) food all fairly priced. Would definitely recommend!!
We loved it here. The food was amazing, staff so nice and helpful and t had a great buzz. Definitely returning!
Great little spot on Queens rd! The vibe, the service, the decor and most importantly the food is amazing. Eat the bread even if you don’t eat bread!
Food was excellent super tasty!! The service was excellent and they could not do enough.
Amazing food! Onglet is to die for. Quite pricey given the small portion sizes however but definitely still going back.
5 stars all round. The food was absolutely beautiful.
On a cold winter’s night it was rather exciting to draw the entrance curtains ... and enter the hubbub! The food and service were good to very good - up there with 5 or 6 other places in Peckham - but the atmosphere was a massive treat.
Such a great restaurant, I love it. The staff are great the food is fantastic the service is prompt and an all round brilliant experience.
I love the way the staff are attentive but also don’t bother you with constant questions but let you enjoy yourself
Cannot recommend this place enough. Lovely cosy evening atmosphere. Great food. Simple delicate extremely tasty.
Thank you I had a lovely time. Brunch menu was a delight. Eggs were well cooked. My avocado mash was nicely seasoned. All is well in the world if your Sunday kicks off to a start like mine at Kudo.
A lovely, cozy spot in Peckham - I can't wait for my next visit! The service in particular was great. And the 'Dutch baby' dessert was absolutely delicious.
Delicious food and a warm welcome. Given a better table than we had booked which was appreciated.
will definitely go back again
Another faultless dinner. Don’t pass on the counter seats!
Delicious food, excellent service. So glad to have this as a local.
Excellent food and experience: my guests loved it for Sunday lunch. A great new addition to the Peckham dining scene.
Delicious and interesting food in a lovely setting and super knowledgeable waiters
So good, 3rd time here, always hits the spot. Peckhams star,
We sat on the high table (2-seats) of which there were 3. Not suitable for people with short legs as seats & table fixed at height. We took the middle so away from noise of main restaurant which was positively buzzing. There is seating along the bar area also. Our waitress from Poland was very knowledgable and very pleasant which always makes eating-out enjoyable. Food was close to Michelin standard- highest praise I can think of. We ate more than we should as we couldn’t decide what to ‘not say no to’! We were very very full as each dish is supposedly for sharing so we had the kudu bread with seafood dip (meant for two sharing) + Parmesan churros (cause we were greedy) salmon plate & mussels plate, then the onglet (beef) which was for two sharing plus a bottle of Prosecco which complemented all of the dishes. With 12 ½% service charge added bill came to £111 & change - worth every penny. Still salivating 2 days later. Yum
The staff are always friendly, the food is always delicious.. what more could you want!
Great food, great service, great experience. Particularly enjoyed the Parmesan Churros and Duck
Kudu has delicious food that is inventive and excellently presented. We visited on a Sunday and the staff were incredibly helpful yet relaxed. Planning to go back again and again.
I love this place ....the food is amazing and the staff are exceptional.. chefs are masters ...do your selves a favour and go
Once again, we had an incredible experience at Kudu. This time it was brunch time and we were served in the best possible way! Keep going guys
Great find !All the food was delicious! Four of us shared lots of different dishes and all of them were excellent and really interesting. It was absolutely packed so a bit on the noisy side. Have already recommended to work colleagues.
Really exquisite food. Great flavours, textures and combinations. I only wish I could have tried everything on the menu. The pollock was outstanding! The staff are friendly, fun and informative. Lovely ambience - it is somehow sophisticated, yet personal and chilled.
A real treat to walk off the street in Peckham to this little oasis of South African cool. Really low key style that is so relaxing. Great service without being overbearing and the food is sensational. We weren’t going to have the bread until the waitress suggested it, and what a mistake that would of been to ignore. The whole experience was delightful and refreshing!
Beautiful, thoughtful and most importantly delicious outstanding food! Service was brilliant, friendly, confident staff and just the right amount of communication between courses! Highly recommend for those with a taste for the finer things in life!
