   I had to wait for the table to be set up. So at 1:30 pm was not ready. Forgot to serve bread - the 2 wines ordered and we had to chase. It seemed the waiters were doing us a favour rather then being happy to help us out. When I said one kid was coming the face totally changed. Enviroment totally bad , will not go back - very expensive for a portion that was 80g pasta- reccomended portion for adult .

   This was my second visit and it was as good as the first. An interesting menu. All of the dishes on it sound great and those that I have tried have been. My only tiny complaint is that the portions are a bit small

   The staff are really trying hard with this new place. They have a lot of potential and need to focus on doing the few things right in the beginning. 1. Booking should be coordinated and one should have a table at the time reserved which was not our case. One should not be told to wait outside for 30 minutes when table may be ready but should be invited to sit at the bar. 2. Head Chef should be in the kitchen and not the dining area. The food should do the talking. 3. Portions are too small by standards even in Notting Hill. There is just pasta and a peppering of the other ingredients, and its not value for money that way. 4. Bread should not be served warm - it certainly is not fresh and could have been just microwaved actually. Great potential, great staff, just inexperienced. The dining area is fabulous, simple, the bar area is spacious, the staff are kind and friendly. The restaurant needs some time to get on its feet. So this is not a harsh judgement, but to be successful, loose ends need to be tied. In the beginning till customers accept you, it is better to be more generous with the portions. Small portions will cut it after you have made it. The dessert was fabulous and so was the mushrooms. The pasta needed more cooking - al dente is trickier on soft pasta but one has to be more careful because soft fresh recently made pasta will never be al dente, just better to cook it through and through. Will go back there next time to see how it is.

   The most wonderful and delicious and amazing restaurant. the ambience is calm and relaxing and the food is truly amazing. each bite of a dish was scrumptious and i wanted to try every single item on the menu. really really loved it and been twice in 2 days only to figure out when next to go. A welcome and long awaited gem in notting hill.

   Absolutely delicious and interesting food. Portion sizes are not bad for lunch, for dinner they’d be quite small I’d imagine. If it’s sharing plate style it is quite pricey but the flavours are really delicious so it’s worth it! The decor is really pretty and the service is great.

   Hard to comment on the food since it never arrived. Half an hour after having ordered, the waiter asked us “if we want anything else”, realising that they never put our order through. The attitude of the server who had taken the order was not only unapologetic but very defensive and rude. Wouldn’t go back, our iced teas also took 15’ to come.

   One of the few restaurants where I have wanted to eat virtually everything on the menu. A great fusion of Italian and Japanese. Sandouts were the oysters, the spaghettoni and clams and the langoustines. Food was sensibly priced as was the wine list. Very friendly and helpful service

    An absolute gem, gorgeous food, lovely service, great wine. Feel like I’ve stumbled on a secret, such a cute place tucked away just off the main drag. Can’t wait to come back and try more of the dishes. Sea bream ceviche was amazing, pork was fantastic.

    Kuro has been open just a week , so would be keen to see any changes they will make as they develop. We thought the menu not so much expensive as a little odd in pricing. The desserts were all £12, which we noticed after coming down off bowls of pasta at £18. The prices didn’t seem to match the environment and the decor could do with some slightly softer touches , especially for winter. The tableware is mainly from Kinto, and we thought this suited the food. We went for our anniversary, and perhaps it wasn’t the right place for such an occasion. We were in and out in just over an hour and had parted with just over £100.
