Aubergine Bao Buns
Baby Shrimp Tempura
Baby shrimp in Japanese batter served with Kimchee Mayo
we were the ONLY table at lunch - so atmosphere was a little lacking but the food was excellent and the waiter very attentive and helpful with suggestions. found it quite expensive over all £120 for 3 of us and we didn't have any alcohol, so I would have a think if you are going with 3 hungry men !!!
suspect it would be fun in the evening with a date or a group - food delicious and inventive - rock shrimp tempura amazing and disappointed with the tuna pizza to be honest but the aubergine miso delicious although hard to eat with chopsticks
Service was excellent and the food was delicious. We weren’t hurried along at all.
Food was great, slightly expensive for what me and my partner had, but service was brilliant 👍
The food was poor and overpriced. The chicken in the chicken teriyaki was off. The decor was dated and the service wasn’t great. Not worth it
the food was very tasty, the service was great always being checked on and making sure the food was good, would definitely come here again
Definitely over-priced for the quality of the food. Not worthy of the great city of London.
Great food with great staff - would definitely recommend!!
Service was great. Food was sub-par and over-priced. Wouldn’t come back.
Below average food, I got the impression that most of it was frozen. Also very small portions, but the price wow! incredibly expensive for very poor food. Was a shame because the staff were reasonably nice.
Expensive for Mediocre food. Some servers were really lovely but some made us feel like we had to wrap up and leave quickly.
Lovely lovely food and place!
Best Black Cod I’ve ever had
Great service and good fun for an 18th birthday - they had a great time! Staff were really attentive and the food was super, thanks!
Service was great however the food and drinks were priced very high.
Great and fun service
The team was lovely!
Great food. Reasonable prices. Decent location.
Super convenient to get to as close to marble arch station. The food was absolutely amazing, really delish, and good portions. It's a bit pricey but definitely worth it. Nice atmosphere and staff were friendly, professional, accommodating, and offered superb service. Will most definitely be going back! Loved it :)
Service was diabolically bad but food was excellent. They seemed to be having a Computer issue but did not have a backup plan that was effective. They had enough table staff who were all running around busily but kept forgetting things (I had to ask for water 4 times, my daughter’s drink took 45 min to arrive, 2 dishes arrived 30 min after the last of the others, etc). It would have been more effective if they had assigned people to serve specific tables to make sure all customers were taken care of. One other thing that I objected to was their reluctance to supply tap water (no jug at the table and small glasses meaning you had to ask for constant refills). The only alternative they offered was Fiji water which I would not buy due to the high and completely unnecessary environmental impact.
Amazing food and very nice staff !
Food was really excellent, every dish was amazing. High quality and good flavours. Dishes are on the small side so make sure you order enough. Service was great before the food arrived, but after that it was slow. Dishes didn’t get taken away quickly and we were going to order more but we decided we couldn’t wait any more. To be fair it was their first day of opening and they did apologies and explain that and that wouldn’t put me off going again. Would definitely recommend
Fantastic authentic Japanese cuisine with lovely service. Very nice vibe. Relaxed, chatty and fun. A brilliant place. Well done Simon at the front of house and the owner who was lovely. Highly recommend. Gary
Despite confirmation and Warnings on CV19 Precautions...the restaurant was closed! Really very unprofessional
The service was fantastic and the food was delicious! Great value for money and the food was super fresh!
Went when the first lockdown eased. The service was good and so was the food! I would go again
This is my 3rd visit, the first since Covid's arrival and frankly, nothing has changed. The food is terrific; inventive, nicely made and well presented. The selection is good and it represents decent value. However, the service is frenetic and sporadic as they are so woefully understaffed. The waiters try hard but there's simply insufficient of them to cope with that number of covers. But the biggest issue is the pace of the arrival of the dishes. The menu is seperated into nibbles, starters, mains and desserts; we ordered a selection of the first 3. We arrived at 20.15, were finally spoken to by a waiter at 20.45, the first dish arrived 5 or 6 minutes later (a main course), then 3 or 4 dishes (a mix) within 2 minutes of that and 5 minutes after that - all the other dishes (inc 2 of the nibbles). We had to put our glasses on the floor as there was no room. I had to send 3 of them back and ask for them to be recooked. They only had 1 bottle of the wine I ordered (arrived tepid) then we had to chose another which was room temperature. All told, the £250 for 3 meal lasted around 70 minutes. If this was just because of all the recent disruptions then you live with it. This song remains the same sadly. Such good food - such a shame
great food and nice atmosphere, staff are nice and lovely location of london
Most of the food was overpriced for what it was, some dishes were still tasty - the soft shell crab tempura was great . It was quite cold inside the venue. The staff were helpful and friendly. The toilets were quite unclean.
The quality and taste of the food was amazing! We’ll be back as soon as possible.
Very good service, attentive polite nothing a problem all very friendly & not intrusive thanks. Food was good not great. Cocktails were good
The place was beautiful, service was great, food was amazing
Delicious food, outstanding service.
Will definitely visit for bottomless brunch next time 😉
Spicy tuna surprise is worth it
Incredible food and service. A tad more expensive than where I'd usually go but it was completely worth every penny, would definitely recommend.
Very good services and they keep offering Eat out to help out scheme in September.
I love the food! The interior is also cozy
Excellent menu and delicious food. I will definitely be back!
Really great place to catch up with a friend. Would come here again.
The food & the service was 10/10. Would definitely recommend this Resturant & will eat there again.
Plates arrived in a bad order, fried chicken was pretty alright, the nasu dengaku was too meaty in volume but had a nice sauce. The wasabi sauce with the fries was especially good. Great with the eat out help out discount
