Kutir is their first solo project. It takes inspiration from the stories of India’s wildlife and countryside, drawing influence from their early careers working in luxury properties nestled away in India’s forestry.

This is the best kept secret of London. We heard about it whilst in India on Tiger Safari in Ranthambore (met a friend of the owner) - truly authentic food and wonderful setting - feels like you’re in someone’s home. My most favourite place. ❤️

Visited to try the tasting menu to celebrate a special occasion. Food was delicious, some courses better than others, but portion sizes for the taster were too big! I'm surprised to criticise this but it meant we couldn't fully enjoy later courses as we were so full.. the restaurant interior and staff were both outstanding. I plan to return to try some of the other items.

Food could be warmer when it gets to the table. When pouring wine, water, etc, as soon as the guest says thank you the waiter/ress should stop and not carry on pouring.

I just don’t understand the poor interior decoration it’s just a Chelsea house with a few hints ( not good ones) of india . Not even a hint of the wonderful music in india and french , not Indian Maitre D .... shame

This place is incredible. Had an amazing meal. Tremendous complexity and depth of spices and a fantastic atmosphere. French waiters courteous, attentive and properly trained. An amazing experience - and we'd thoroughly recommend to anyone who likes Indian food. But book up in advance. If you simply turn up, you'll never get in!!

We enjoyed a Delicious vegetarian weekend set menu that was effect for a Saturday lunch. The decor and ambiance are very special and we were so well looked after by a delightful team. Overall an excellent experience that we would certainly recommend.
Service was rushed - felt like we were being hurried out from the moment we sat.
Food was unmemorable. Softshell crab was a bit dry. Venison in the main curry was overcooked. Mackerel dish was underwhelming, with coriander caviar not adding much.

Amazing dinner, would highly recommend it to anyone looking for incredible Indian food that is a bit different! The morels were the stand out for me but I really couldn’t fault a single dish. Thank you for such a wonderful experience, I will visit again soon!
Fantastic take on Indian Cuisine allthough for me the spicy food did not work so well with the wine menu so if I come back I would probably go for a beer to accompany the exquisite food menu.
A mid week lunch outing. We opted for the Expedition menu with wine pairings. The amuse bouche served whilst we sampled our first glass of wine set the standard for the whole adventure…a wonderful experience. The prawns fried in a spiced crispy coating were very good…a deceptively spicy kick as you swallowed the last mouthful. The scrabbled quails egg on a small papadum were special as were all of the serving’s. There were five (or was it six courses !!) each with a matching wine. I must admit by the time we arrived at the main course… one chicken, the other a prawn curry.. we were full, ready to burst. But then came the desert, one chocolate sensation and the other an iced cream cassata… we managed to eat that too !!. The greeting, the attention to detail, the table service are all spot on.

Food was delicious and the decor was amazing. Service was good but could be better, i.e. placing ice in the whiskey, topping up spilt water, and other small gestures. Wine pairing was perfect.

The service here is superb. We were offered a taste of the wine before buying and when we asked for some local information at the end of the meal the waiter couldn't have been more helpful. The food was divine - our softshell crab and prawn starters were delicious as was the Duck Chetinnad main. The ambience manages to be cosy and sophisticated at the same time. We shall definitely return for special occasions
Kutir is a hidden gem. This is a fine dining restaurant. The quality of the food and service are simply outstanding. This was our second visit in recent weeks. We’ll be back.
Kutir is a worthy successor in the space previously occupied by Vineet Bhatia. No, it’s not as creative or refined as the cuisine of Bhatia, but what Indian chef is. Flavor-wise, Kutir is extraordinary and by that measurement all diners should be pleased. And finally, we were there mid-week and the place was absolutely packed. That fact alone should tell you how good it is.
Ring the door to enter. This is no ordinary Indian! When you get in, you discover that this Chelsea townhouse may have a long pedigree as a setting for restaurants, but the rooms are a difficult size for this purpose: there are few what you might call 'good tables'. The staff, though, are very thoughtful, and do a very good job. The food and drinks are enjoyable too, but I did have a feeling that the food (main courses in particular) lacked some of the sparkle you might hope for at the prices. Perhaps it was just the area, but - further afield, obviously - you can get such amazing Indian food in London, at a fraction of the prices here.

An excellent lunch on Saturday from the non-vegetarian menu ( their description). All four courses were tasty and plentiful. We had the soft shell crab, salmon, prawns and a different dessert each.
We found the adjacent table to be a noisy group of just four people who were just having a nice time but laughing very loudly and it was intrusive in such a small room. We asked to be re-seated in the next door room and this was done quickly and without fuss which we appreciated. This was our first visit for a birthday celebration. We shall return

Food exceptionally good (Tandoori Lamb Chops, Chicken tikka and black dal. Pudding (pears three ways) delicious. Missed Gulab Jamun and Kulfi.
