Kutir’s story is taken from a time when innovation with ingredients was paramount. Chefs were expected to craft unique dishes on a daily basis to keep the cottage’s guests happy.
Step into Kutir and we will transport you to a time of magnificent wildlife, abundant forestry and deep human connection. A world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Rohit Ghai and Abhishake Sangwan have led some of this country’s most decorated establishments – earning a Michelin star in the process.
Kutir is their first solo project. It takes inspiration from the stories of India’s wildlife and countryside, drawing influence from their early careers working in luxury properties nestled away in India’s forestry.
Kutir promises a place of escapism and discovery – and everyone is welcome to come and explore it.

True gem of a restaurant !
Everything from start to finish was absolutely amazing, great service, outstanding food in a relaxed environment
Very flavourful food, nice to see some homely dishes making an appearance in a new way. Good service and good ambience too!
Intimate restaurant with excellent, attentive service. Starters were fantastic, but the classics menu didn’t stand out.
I went for Valentine’s Day, what an amazing restaurant!! Food is excellent, romantic atmosphere and service is impeccable....and not expensive at all!! I loved it <3
Feels special as you have to ring the doorbell to get in. fun! On Valentine's night it was full and buzzy which was good. Service nicely attentive and helpful. Starter plates really tasty, main courses more than adequate in size and good different tastes. Everyone happy with their food.
I visited this restaurant on Valentine day and it was perfect!!! Highly recommend it, perfect for date night and the food was amazing! I can't wait to go back
This restaurant is absolutely wonderful. The food was fabulous as were the cocktails. Our only complaint was the lamb shank meat did not fall off the bone. Could have been cooked longer but taste was delicious.
This was the best Indian restaurant that i have ever been to; being from the US its very hard to find good Indian food. Highly recommend! The service and attention to detail is astounding!
Food started well and then deteriorated as the main courses arrived. Was overhyped and under flavoured.
Wonderful and fantastic in every way and can't wait to go back for lunch and/or dinner.
The manager and the entire staff were absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome.
The food was great and look forward to trying more dishes.
Definitely one of the top Indian restaurants and top restaurants in London that we've been to!
Solid business lunch venue. Top food and service.
Fantastic Indian restaurant. Some nice twists on original dishes. Standouts were the chicken chops and lamb shoulder although the tikka masala (despite feeling guilty ordering it) was really good too. Loved the cocktails too. The Madhout(?) is somewhere between an Old Fashioned and Negroni. Highly recommend Kutir all round.
Excellent food here! We had the tasting menu with wine pairing and some of the courses were mesmerising! The prawns in batter was the favourite along with the fish in herb marinade and lamb chop. Only slight let down we’re desserts, still good quality but would prefer an interesting Indian dessert rather than chocolate or strawberry. Can get pretty noisy and the tables are close together but for the food alone it is more than worth it.
Had the tasting experience. Fabulous. Excellent wine pairing. Staff did n excellent job. Wonderful evening!!!
What a wonderful restaurant! We went for lunch on a Sunday and had the set lunch menu which was excellent value. The stone bass and chicken were wonderfully spiced starters and excellently presented. Mains of venison and fish went down a treat and the portion sizes were just right. Deserts were light and fruity which ended the meal well and felt perfectly balanced. Certainly reccomend, only down side was the seat by the window was very cold.
Kutir was amazing ! The food (we went for the tasting menu) was delicious! Will definitely come back !
An absolute gem! Great Indian food with innovative twists.
The variety on the menu is excellent and the choice of cocktails are great.
Very authentic flavours and excellent service with the waiter explaining every dish as it comes onto the table.
Absolutely amazing experience at Kutir. The decor, the food, the service were next level.
Outstanding food and service in a beautiful and unique setting. Their prices are also very reasonable given the experience.
It was an all round great experience. Food was amazing, waiters were very friendly and helpful and the ambiance was great. I will definitely be going back.
This restaurant in a Chelsea townhouse looks stunning and the service was charming. Food is innovative and delicious with plenty of vegetarian options
Quite simply the best Indian cuisine I can remember. Get there before it is overrun by the Michelin stars
Fantastic room/ setting, professional service with an appropriate level of good humour and antics, and an incredible menu to match.
Amazing gem hidden off the Kings Road. Best Indian food I've had in London. The staff advised me on vegan options i could order. The service was impeccable and the ambience was second to none. The owners should be very proud!
A superb restaurant that I can not stop raving about.
Everything about our visit, from the minute we walked into the door to us leaving was just perfect.
The food was incredible - flavoursome, full of taste and textur e, with high quality ingredients; the service attentive, personable, and unintrusive. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!

Great private rooms
A Star service
Too much food in tasting menu - need to cut down portion size in tasting menu and reduce price
Should have different lunch and dinner price
Enjoyable afternoon - very classy recommend for special occasion
Drinks menu good but pricey
Great food, the team at Kutir makes the entire dining experience fantastic!
Excellent food, service and ambience. Highly recommended.
Exceptional food with outstanding service. I really enjoy the selection and the quality of the ingredients is great. I also really liked the drinks.
One of the best curries I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back
Altogether a very enjoyable experience with great food and very friendly and efficient staff.
The best new addition to the London Dining Scene!
Every dish exceeded my expectations - scrumptious food with exquisite presentation. The lamb chops & scallops are to die for. Plenty of selection for vegetarians too.
Make sure you save room for dessert you’ll regret it if you don’t.
Will definitely be coming back to try more.
Rohit Ghai defines what Indian cuisine should be - a treat to the senses.
Kutir is one of the most beautiful and intimate restaurants in London. The ambience is a magical escape and the attentive staff take great pride in presenting the most beautiful of Indian cuisine. The chef is a master and the love he has for creating exquisite experiences for people shines through in every step of an evening at Kutir! We had a wonderful evening and can't wait to return.
Indian cuisine at its absolute finest. We both had the Signature Expedition menu that has 5 courses, which also included an amuse bouche to start and petites fours to finish. Amazing quality throughout, we have had the good fortune to dine at most of London's Michelin star Indian restaurants but in our experience this meal was one, if not the best we have ever had. Service was friendly, efficient and discreet all enjoyed in a beautiful townhouse setting.
Some of the most innovative and exciting Indian food we have eaten in London. The Tandoori lamb chops were simply superb.
Wonderful little place in heart of Chelsea, had lovely time
Went to the restaurant for the first time. We were bit early but they welcomed us and our table was ready. Fantastic food, service and ambience. Ideal for taking your guest out for dinner to Kurtir. Was our anniversary and they treated us with a nice cake at the end of meal. Choice on menu is less but overall quality and value for money. Recommend to my friends for a quite dinner with friends and family
Wonderful place, beautifully decorated & service is uncompromised. The food is too spicy & overpowering for some dishes.
