‘A small cottage in the middle of nowhere’
Kutir’s story is taken from a time when innovation with ingredients was paramount. Chefs were expected to craft unique dishes on a daily basis to keep the cottage’s guests happy.
Step into Kutir and we will transport you to a time of magnificent wildlife, abundant forestry and deep human connection. A world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Rohit Ghai and Abhishake Sangwan have led some of this country’s most decorated establishments – earning a Michelin star in the process.
Kutir is their first solo project. It takes inspiration from the stories of India’s wildlife and countryside, drawing influence from their early careers working in luxury properties nestled away in India’s forestry.
Kutir promises a place of escapism and discovery – and everyone is welcome to come and explore it.

The best new addition to the London Dining Scene!
Every dish exceeded my expectations - scrumptious food with exquisite presentation. The lamb chops & scallops are to die for. Plenty of selection for vegetarians too.
Make sure you save room for dessert you’ll regret it if you don’t.
Will definitely be coming back to try more.

Kutir is one of the most beautiful and intimate restaurants in London. The ambience is a magical escape and the attentive staff take great pride in presenting the most beautiful of Indian cuisine. The chef is a master and the love he has for creating exquisite experiences for people shines through in every step of an evening at Kutir! We had a wonderful evening and can't wait to return.

Indian cuisine at its absolute finest. We both had the Signature Expedition menu that has 5 courses, which also included an amuse bouche to start and petites fours to finish. Amazing quality throughout, we have had the good fortune to dine at most of London's Michelin star Indian restaurants but in our experience this meal was one, if not the best we have ever had. Service was friendly, efficient and discreet all enjoyed in a beautiful townhouse setting.

Went to the restaurant for the first time. We were bit early but they welcomed us and our table was ready. Fantastic food, service and ambience. Ideal for taking your guest out for dinner to Kurtir. Was our anniversary and they treated us with a nice cake at the end of meal. Choice on menu is less but overall quality and value for money. Recommend to my friends for a quite dinner with friends and family

Here is a snippet of my conversation with the waiter:

Me: we found ‘paneer makai’ really spicy
Waiter: aha that’s visible on your plate (which was empty)

This happens when you have over enthusiastic and annoying waiter. Just good enough to ruin your meal, not to mention at such a high price point.

Excellent food. One of the best biryanis I ever tried in London, and this is coming from a biryani-connoisseur.

The slow cooked lamb shoulder was ok, I wouldn’t order it again. But the chicken tikka masala, aloo gobi and tandoori chicken were delicious.

Outstanding, attentive service. Beautifully decorated and a lovely ambiance. Highly, highly recommended.

Living in the U.S., we miss Indian cuisine and when in London we search for the best there. We noticed Kutir's launch, dined there during the holiday, and recommend it highly. The warmth of the welcome and courtesy of service are matched by the imaginative menu and quality of the cooking. We wish Abhishake Sangwan and his team all success and will return soonest.

Had one of the nicest evenings in a very long time. I’ve been to a lot of Chef Rohit’s restaurants but this is by far one of the best. The food was finger licking good and the service was astounding. The whole dining experience was like going home but having fine dining food. Well done!

I don't want to be too harsh as a power cut likely didn't lead to the smoothest day for the restaurant. Sauces and spicing were great but the meat was generally quite dry throughout which marred the experience. Pleasant service and a fine room.
