Good is always great. We have been going here for 6 years and have never had a bad meal or bad service. They really make the experience great. Awesome food.

Outstanding food but the server had a horrible attitude. This seems to be par for the course here because we constantly get bad service with different servers. Again my wife and I love the food but we won’t be back after this visit.

Waiter was a bit rough around the edges. Seemed to be impatient with us being first timers

We don't eat out often but visited for my wife's birthday on a Monday evening. The restaurant was mostly empty with maybe 5 tables occupied. Antonio took great care of us. My wife wanted the Ossobuco, but they only make it on Friday and Saturday. However they found that they still had one serving left. I had the lamb chops. We also had a bottle of wine and the plum cake. All of the food was excellent. One of the best restaurants in the mid cities area. They kept tables appropriately separated and followed Covid guidelines.

We first chose La Bistro for two reasons: my daughter wanted Italian food for her birthday dinner and 2) the location was the perfect midpoint for us to meet. It also received good reviews. Well, we all loved this restaurant. The wait staff was attentive, welcoming, and knowledgeable; the food was DELICIOUS! Each of us loved our entrees, and we definitely would return! Highly recommend.

Service is excellent, food is good. They have a specialty where food is cooked at the table on hot rocks. When this takes place, the restaurant is filled with grease-laden smoke. This experience took place a few tables away from us and destroyed an otherwise nice experience.

Excellent choice. The only drawback is the price of wine can drive your bill up. But the food and especially the service is well worth it.

La Bistro is a wonderful restaurant for a date night, special occasion or even a dinner with family or friends. It is an intimate and cozy setting with great food and wine. The steak-on-the-rocks is a must try. On this visit I tried the potato crusted Chilean sea bass with risotto. It was fabulous! The service is great and you will always see the owner in the dining room or behind the bar making sure everyone is happy.

We love eating somewhere to support the locals. The menu was great, food wonderful and the setting set the mood. We all had something different, with plenty of food, great appetizers and a great waiter.

Five people, no complaints from anyone about anything. (That, in itself is almost miraculous.) Waiter went above and beyond. Felt like restaurant was clean and sanitized.

This is must stop for any great food consumer. My favorite place to eat bar none! Must have Oasis Cake. Best wait staff knowledgeable and attentive in every detail.

We experienced a lovely anniversary dinner. I highly recommend the filet on the rock which you cook at your own table. There was not anything we did not enjoy, and the service was top notch!

waiter needs a little help with manners. price online needs to be updated. make sure you get a menu . pricing is different than what's online vs at the restaurant. food was very good thou.

This is by far one of my favorite restaurants! They never disappoint. If you have not been, it is a must. Chicken Murphy is my favorite. Please visit them. Our fantastic local restaurants need our support more than ever.

Great food, service, atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

Service was impeccable. Our food was very good, only a couple of drawbacks.
The Caesar salad was drenched in dressing which made it soggy. The lobster bisque was really a tomato bisque with one almost imperceptible piece of lobster. The bread pudding was very heavy instead of fluffy.

The restrooms were not clean. We were on a Sunday night.

Everything else was fantastic.

Took a trip down memory lane only to be dissapointed. Visiting from Ohio and went back to a weekly restaurant choice of mine years ago. Fondly looking forward to the lobster bisque and great Italian fare. Sadly the lobster bisque has changed and is now more tomato based and not the silky lobster soup I remembered. Several entrees came loaded with a Mushroom Marsala Sauce, which was ill fitting for several of the dishes, such as Chicken Cordon Blue. It was restaurant week and 2 of our party ordered the 4 course menu only to have the 2nd course not presented. When advised the waiter question us and then said "well I can box up some soup". Overall a disappointing evening.

We went for DFW Restaurant week and chose to eat from that menu. The food was great (as expected from restaurant week) and my husband really enjoyed the interactive cooking style of his filet on an 800 deg salted lava rock. Said it was the best he’s ever had!! We’ll definitely be back.

Always looking for a great Italian place, found it only a couple miles away from our house! Amazing food, amazing service. Surprisingly beautiful on the inside!
