Great food lovely attentive staff great atmosphere will be back
Tucked away in an industrial waste land, but well worth the effort. Shabby chic, good food, great jazz and a perfect Sunday afternoon chill zone.
First visit and it won't be the last. Lovely food and really great table service. A little gem.
We arrived early at 19:00 on a Saturday night and we were first customers. The staff made us extremily welcome and 20 minutes later the live band started up and customers filled every single table. The atomsphere was electric and the choice of Tapas was excellent. Later we could'nt resist getting up to dance to a live rock band and the dance floor was crowded. Great night.
+ Great atmosphere, great live music, very friendly staff, dogs friendly (dog in all cases should be well behaved)
- the hall was quite cold and we had to move tables to one close to radiator, tapas list was poor (I would have expected since visiting an original Spanish tapas place to find more choices)
Great small local place with a live music.
Great atmosphere. If you want to meet normal people and great happy staff, just go there.
Gem of a find - great food, great staff and a bit of dancing thrown in for good measure - what's not to like
Food and service excellent. Really went to see band Vague Reality who were playing at restaurant. Everything about the night was great. Would go back for food and live music night.
Great place and atmosphere, during Higher Ground performance
Need to get back 😁 Nice place for a night out! Random place which is even better.
Nice food. Maybe slightly over priced for portion size but tasted good! Service not so great but it was extremely busy that evening.
Had a great time here ! I fancied going out for the afternoon with my wife and we knew this Spanish run place had live music so I booked a table for 3:30. We were very pleasantly greeted by a young waiter and ordered two beers and half a dozen tapas, all very tasty!! and around 4pm a Jazz band began to wail. They were very good and just to my taste. The premises looked like it had seen better days and the furniture had come out of a skip but don't let this put you off ! The atmosphere was incredible with an international clientele all there to enjoy the ambience and the music. When the Jazz band finished an African folk singer came on along with some other musicians who were very entertaining. This was the best Sunday afternoon I have spent in years and I would suggest you give it a go.
Sunday afternoon with great food and a great jazz band in really relaxed and friendly surroundings - perfect!
Worst place in glasgow, very unhygienic and poor choice of food and drink.
Had a fab night but had to send beef USB back as it was off. They replaced it however with no problem.
We had already checked this place out on Google maps and knew that it was in an industrial area of Glasgow so that didn't bother us. On arrival we saw that it was quite authentic in terms of decoratation but that it was quite cold (it was a cold January night). The music was exactly what we were looking for so we were happy with the ambience. From that point things went down hill. We ordered wine and it took 15 minutes to come and I had to chase it up. We ordered a few tapas and it took 30 mins( I had to chase it up) for them to come ( and it wasn't busy). The young waiter had not been trained, he really didn't know what he was doing. We also noticed that the other waiters and kitchen staff were wearing hippy like tea cosys on their heads, we thought this was quite unhygienic. We never heard anyone speaking spanish amongst the staff. As far as the food was concerned, I lived in Spain for 10 years and my partner is Latin American (so we know what we're talking about) the size of the tapas portiins were too small. It was equivalent to the FREE tapas you get in a bar in Spain but was not a proper tapas portion. They do offer larger portions but at a cost. We compare this to an authentic tapas bar we use in Manchester run by a Spaniard and his portions are much bigger and same price. The quality of the food was just OK but very limited selection. Many Spanish favourites were missing from menu.
Great atmosphere and wonderful food. The music and dancing were fabulous as were the readers at the launch of Glasgow: Invisible Cities
Wonderful experience! Great food with friendly staff and good music.
